[Rapoport] A statement from agent Doug Hendrickson: Najee Harris was present at a 4th of July event where a fireworks mishap resulted in injuries to several attendees. Najee sustained a superficial eye injury during the incident, but is fully expected to be ready for the upcoming NFL season.

  3. Thank god. I’m a Bama fan and Najee has always been one of my favorites. This is a relief after hearing rumors that he may have lost an eye or messed up his face.

  10. For anyone who’s freaking out about, I’d say don’t worry. Typically injuries like these are short-term and manageable as long as it’s treated properly. He’ll definitely have side effects like blurred vision and all, but it should go away by the time regular season comes around.

    Also, I am ashamed of everyone saying on the other thread they didn’t trust the reporting that first broke the news. You all have been hearing accusations of “fake news” too much and make the rest of us level headed fans look bad.

    Also, props to u/wildwing8 for being the first to share this, before the mods took it down. A lot of people were being rude to him and should be eating crow.

  15. Still don’t know if this is true. Najee just held a camp for kids and eye looked fine. That other article also had typos. Will need physical proof/picture with written statement from Najee.

  16. Christian Mccafery was going to play all of last season and then the league was hit with he wasn’t ok for multiple weeks. Until I see the dude suited up this is whatever
