BREAKING: Sharks Sign Jakob Skarek As Third Goalie Option
The San Jose Sharks find their third goalie. I’m JD Young of Locked on Sharks and the Sharks sign Jacob Scharik to a one-year $775,000 deal. Uh Sharik who spent the last couple seasons uh in the Islanders organization where didn’t post the greatest numbers especially last year we had a 352 goals against and an 884 save percentage but Bridgeport was woeful to say the least only winning 15 games last season. So, Sharik should line up as the Sharks third goalie behind Ascarov and Adulkovich and help to kind of provide some veteran uh leadership down in the AHL even though he’s only 25 has already played 161 AHL games. The San Jose Sharks signed AHL veteran Jakob Skarek to be their third goalie option and help boost the San Jose Barracuda tandem. Despite being only 25, Skarek has already played in over 160 AHL games and should provide some veteran leadership for Gabe Carriere.
