New York Yankees vs Seattle Mariners | Game Highlights (7/10/25)

For the Yankees, it’s Marcus Strowman. His six start, one and one, 7.45. JP Crawford’s ready. Strowman’s ready. Let’s do him the Bronx. First pitch swung on and grounded up the middle. Backhanded there by Chisum. Over to Rice. One pitch, one out. Right back to Strowman. Flips it to Rice. Swing and a miss. Got him on the sinker. Rosoena down on strike. Ryan Woo the Allstar. This be his 18th start. You see the numbers all good. 3-2 grounded to second base. There’s one on first. They double up the Speedy Bellinger to get out of the inning. That one is laced into left field. It’s a base hit. Really will score. RBI single for Cole Young. It is one- nothing Seattle. Top of the fourth or third. Two outs. And there’s a base hit to right field. That’ll score Canzone. An RBI from Masaboni. And it’s two nothing Seattle. Yeah, those are the hits that really really crush you as a pitcher. You get two outs and you got a chance to get out of it. Then you give up a base hit. A hanging breaking ball. Chop slowly to third. Boss Fields, fires. Beautiful scoop by Rice to get Rodriguez and end the threat. Two balls, two strikes, two outs here in the fifth. It’s two nothing Seattle. Strowman deals. Right center field on the run is Gisham. He gets there, reaches up and makes the play. And that’s going to do it as Strowman retires. Seattle in order. We’re halfway through. Strike three. Dominguez down looking. 17 straight Yankees retired through six. Brian Woo is throwing a no hitter here in the Bronx. 0 and2 on Palanco. [Applause] Driven deep to right field. Bellinger turns. Looks CA a threerun home run. A crusher. And it’s five nothing Seattle. Wow. Just out of nowhere. an 02 pitch. He hung it right over the middle of the plate. [Applause] We talk about a just a gut punch right there from two to nothing to five to nothing. That one is ripped into center field. Rodriguez is there to put it away. And Woo has been masterful. A seven inning masterpiece. No hitting the Yankees. And Seattle leads 5 nothing. You think it’s easy to manage? Let’s say that Woo gets through the eighth inning without allowing a hit. 12 pitches. He’s at 104. You let him pick a nine. You know what? I am, but I’m not the manager. And I don’t have all these uh analytics telling me that you’re going to hurt your arm if you throw pass 100. I’m convinced, Paul, that managers are torn. I mean, they have a responsibility of the team in the organization. And I bet you somewhere in the recesses of their mind, just give them a hit so I don’t have to deal with this. No doubt about it. Especially early in the year where you know pitch count is even more. And now he doesn’t have to worry about it. There’s a base hit for Chism to break up the no hitter. [Applause] You know actually tapped Chisum on the way by hit a pretty good pitch. And you know what Danny Wilson I’m sure is relieved. And I’ll love to know if we get a true answer whether he would have left him in or not. And that’s up the middle and through for base hit for Rice. Chism round second. He’s going to third and the Yankees have runners at first and third and nobody out. Try ball left field. A Rosena makes a catch tagging is Jazz Chisum. home not in time. It’s a sack fly for Wells. The shut out is also lost and now it’s 51 Seattle. And now they’ll send out Jean Carlos Stanton to pinch it for Bivos. Open Stanton runs into one and cuts the lead to two. That one’s drilled deep to right center field on the run. Rodriguez on the track. Tony lookinga a pinch hit two-run home run for Stanton. And the Yankees have pulled to within two. Well, these are the things that Big G he’s capable of doing. I mean, you said it, Michael, when he came up to the plate if he runs into one. And you know, this is off the bench as a pinch hitter deep center field. No doubt about it. Dan Wilson also has his lefty up. Gabe Spire, the only lefty in their bullpen, warming up alongside Munoz. And down goes Raleigh. So Hamilton does the job, retiring Seattle in order. Yaggies will try to rally in the bottom of the ninth. 1.06 RA, the lowest among American League relievers with 30 more innings. He gets a lot of strikeouts and he gets a lot of grounds. Gisham, Judge, and Bellinger against Andres Munoz. [Applause] the 3-2 line drive. It is a base hit for Gisham. And just like that, that brings Judge up as the tying run here in the bottom of the ninth. Yeah, what a great at bat by Trent Gisham. Fouled off some pitches. The first pitch he saw with the at bat was a 100 and then a couple nasty sliders. There’s Judge 0 for three tonight. High fly ball center field and Rodriguez makes the play. One away. Face hit pass to Ding Young into right field. Christian will stop at second. A 15ame hitting streak for Bellinger and it keeps it alive here in the bottom of the ninth inning. Highf fly ball there and the Yankees are down to their final out. Runners go. Fall four. The bases are loaded for Austin Wells. [Applause] [Music] The 2-2 three and two. The runners will go 3-2. Two outs. Bottom of the ninth. [Applause] Line drive. It’s a base hit to right field. That’s going to tie the game. The Yankees have come all the way back. It’s 55 on the big two-run single by Austin Wells. Well, folks, if you didn’t hear the fans earlier again, you hear him now. And a huge two out hit in the bottom of the ninth for Austin Wells. He went high, but he didn’t go quite high enough for the 98 mph fast. Line to right field. Why not Michael? The winning runs at second base. That’s Rice. Highfly ball center field. Rodriguez back. He’s there to make the play and that’ll do it. But the Yankees tie the score in the ninth. The O2 swing and a miss. Got him on that change. Williams was excellent last night. Off to a good start here. Ground ball chisum and they get really for the final out. So Devin Williams retires Seattle in order and the Yankees have a chance to win it in the bottom of the 10th. It’s 51. Yankees looking for a sweep to this series. Bunted in the air and caught. That is a tough one. So sending up Goldmith to pinch hit. They’re just going to walk it. So an intentional walk putting runners on first and second. And here comes Gisham. And he walked them. The bases are loaded for Judge. So many things happen now. Infield comes in, outfield comes in, and Judge has a chance to walk it off. And one thing that can happen, Michael, now with the bases loaded, is Aaron Judge knows 100% in his mind that they have to come after. Judge has had six career walk-offs. The last one a home run in 2022. Infield coming in halfway. Outfield comes in. No place to put Judge. First pitch outside. One and0. Five five game bases loaded. Bottom of the tenth. One and one. They beat him with that fast after starting him off with a change up away down in the dirt. He beat him with a fast ball. But the good thing is Aaron Judge has seen the change up and has seen the fast already in this count. The 1-1 high-fly ball center field tagging Vulpi. The catch is made. Here comes Vulpi. Here’s the throw. Here’s the play. He’s safe. Yankees win. A set fly by Judge. Yankees win 65. From no hit to no way. They come all the way back to win it and sweep Seattle. Wow. What a comeback. And you know they’re going to take a look at this play, Michael, and make sure that Anthony Popey got in there, but it looked like he slid before and out around Raleigh in the tag. Yeah, he’s in there now. You can go through it, man. Michael, go ahead. Finish it up. What a great slide by Vulpi. And the Yankees go from being down 5 nothing to winning. And the challenge is not successful because of this great slide by Bulpi. And a walk-off sack fly by Aaron Judge. What a sweep for the Yanks. What a game for the Yankees. It started off so slow. Woo had them completely shut down. A huge rally that ended up on an in between sacrifice fly with one of the better center fielders in the game. But Anthony Vulpi with his speed and a great slide where he snuck his arm in there. Yankees win. What an exciting night here in the Bronx. Great call by the home plate umpire Nick Lentz. So going into the eighth inning, the Yankees had to feel miserable. They would get no hit. They solve that. The big pinch hit two-run home run by Stanton. And then they win it in the 10th. first win after trailing by five runs in the eighth inning or later since June 29th of 2016 against Texas. music. [Music] There’s nothing you can’t do. Count your [Music] streets.

  1. I know this is so random….at 10:30….The MLB logo on the back of Judge's uniform looks different than other players. It almost looks gold plated. Anyone know anything about it? Pretty cool!

  2. What a game! Awesome comeback against the Seattle Mariners, winning 6-5 in 10 innings after being hitless for seven innings🤌! Congrats to Yankees team👏👏👏👏!!!
    ⚾️ Let's go Yankees 🤪💙🔥🤍🌼!!!

  3. Best win so far this season🔥🔥🔥

Big G pinch hit homer, Wells game tying 2 run double with 2 strikes and 2 outs left in the game and down 5-3 before the hit, Volpe with great slide ,Devin is himself again, WHAT A WIN🔥🔥🔥🔥

On a side note I’m praying Volpe flags a better 2nd half and hits like the first quarter of the season cu his defense and base running is there and he’s keeping errors to a minimum which I love to see🙏🙏🙏

  4. No doubt best game of the Season. Volpe made that play, Judge didn’t get that ball…. Stanton is on fire, and so is Williams!

  5. To finally have speed in the lineup again! My goodness how refreshing it is to see Volpe, Jazz, Martian running…the amount of slow runners in the past has seriously impaired us getting those extra bases. Now jazz going 1st to 3rd is nearly automatic, it's so great to see that.

  6. My initial guess was out at home, and we'd go to extras. Epic slide by Volpe. This game was such a good example of why baseball is such a great sport. You're never out of it til the ump says "time and game".

  7. That's a wild way to break up a late no hitter. That's what it always feels like to be a Mariner fan… picture carries a no hitter into the 8th and you still lose.

  8. That throw was well in time, but Volpe executed a little swim move to perfection. The Yankees were finding ways to lose. Perhaps that win ignited something and now they will find ways to win.
