Here’s Why The Pistons WON’T Trade For A STAR!

piston’s GM Treasure Langdon i did hear him say the priority is developing the young guys and he specifically said between the ages of 19 and 23 kade is 23 jaden is 23 asar is 22 jd’s 21 stu is 23 ron is 19 bobby is 21 i don’t think it’s a coincidence that he used the range 19 to 23 now does that guarantee every single one of those guys going to be here for the championship no but it shows what the intention is not to do anything until I know exactly what I have with all these guys i always said we haven’t seen one game where the projected starting five started not one right he’s not going to do anything until he knows exactly what he has yeah cuz as soon as you throw in a Devin Booker as soon as you speed up with a Giannis or Bradley Beal and his horrible contract you got to capitalize right now cuz those guys aren’t trying to sit and wait for a bunch of kids to catch up cages could be the ones that are holding them back because they’re not having the same buy in because they’re not on the same timeline they’re just used to being the guy now they may not want to sacrifice for younger players knowing that there’s so much great continuity with this team everybody’s kind of filling in certain roles even though I don’t think they should just run it back with the same band it still gives them the ability to be patient it make me appreciate guys like Tobias Harris too man cuz when he came here he made it known why he came here he came here to be a part of that ride in the development of these young guys and you see him take that leadership role last season guys like him I always appreciate guys like THJ are a huge question right now if we bring a guy and him back we’ll just have to wait and

The Detroit Pistons have been focused on rebuilding through youth, investing in players like Cade Cunningham, Jaden Ivey, Jalen Duren, and Ausar Thompson.

The front office seems intent on developing a strong core organically rather than rushing into win-now moves.

It’s a long-term play, but if the talent matures and the coaching staff can bring it all together, they could become a real threat in a few years.

Thanks for tuning in!!! I appreciate all the love and support received from you all…

  1. I couldn’t agree more! The Pistons SHOULD NOT make a big splash this summer. Continue to work with the young talent we have, and if we can, bring in a stretch 4 who could potentially secede Tobias, somewhere down the line. Keep this team in-tact for now..💯

  2. Hopefully Trajan won’t be hesitant to make a move(s) that at some stage could elevate this team. I’ve seen Pistons teams wait too long or just stay the course

  3. Why the hell would you trade for Bradley Beal? Why would ANYONE trade for Bradley Beal. He has one of the worst contracts of all time and zero upside.

  4. Unless Tim takes a vet minimum, he is gone! If Beasley is looking for a big deal, he is gone. Hope he wants to stay.. Schroder, we will see…

  5. Develop the young guys??? Ivey and Duren are eligible for extensions this summer so you probably need to trade one. If we don’t make a smart trade to boost the team then that means that we’re content with being ready to make a serious run in 3 to 5 years from now. Houston was in the exact same position that we were just a couple of years ago but look at them now. Waiting on the young guys to develop is so Detroit and its not gonna get us anywhere soon smh
