And it’s going to start here with this matchup between the Athletics and the Toronto Blue Jays. For the Athletics, setting out Luis Severino for the start in this one while the Blue Jays will counter with Max Scherzer. And you know, I I’m sitting here just thinking, what’s Max Scherzer going to be? You know, is he going to still be able to, you know, provide innings for this Blue Jays lineup? Is he going to end up somehow down the line getting hurt again? I don’t know. So, I’m kind of always looking over my shoulder with Max Sherzer. Now, last time out he went four innings, gave up two runs on five hits, had four strikeouts, hasn’t necessarily been going deep into games, but he can be a serviceable option for the Toronto Blue Jays. And the Blue Jays for me just s you know, between these two teams have the sizable edge in the bullpen as well. So, all I’m thinking is that Sher has to be serviceable as he has been in his starts really since returning from the injured list. Five innings of three-run ball against Cleveland, five innings of two-run ball, seven strikeouts against the Yankees. The Blue Jays just haven’t been pushing them all too much, but like I said, they do have an edge in the bullpen that they can take advantage of. Now, on the other side, you got Luis Severino, who no matter what just cannot pitch well in Sacramento. There’s there’s complaints about the mound. There’s complaints about, you know, the uh the field surface. There’s just all these complaints. And Severino this season is 0 and8 at you know with excuse me has an 0 and8 record at uh Sutter Health Park through 11 starts at 298 opponent’s batting average 27 extra base hits allowed compared to 12 on the road just a completely different pitcher away from Sacramento and I said it’s just really hard for me to make a case for Severino in this matchup. The the A’s have lost Severino’s last six starts at home. you know, all of them have been on the run line. You know, set nine of the 11 starts he’s had at home this season. And I just feel like the Blue Jays are just, you know, the better team, better form right now. I think that this price a little bit light considering the run that the Blue Jays have been on. I know it’s sort of a cross-country trip and then, you know, playing in a a hitter friendly ballpark. You got to worry about Max Sherzer with that, but I said I think this Blue Jays offense has been clicking and I think this is just a bad spot for the Athletics to be in with Severino in its current form. So, I’m going to roll with the Blue Jays at home in this one. Whether you take a money line or run line, it’s your call. Maybe get some nice plus money out of it. But, I’m going to roll with the Blue Jays in this one. And that’s going to be my free pick.
