Ceddanne Rafaela Crushes Walk-Off Homer, Says Red Sox Will Give 100% to Play in October Again

Well, he told us last night he feels so great, man. Every swing. Let’s go down to TC. Thank you, OB Son. Last night you said, “I just want to win.” How good does this feel right now? You feel it? That’s amazing, bro. This is the October end. Wow. Listen to this crowd. You stood there and watched it leave. You came around. You stood here and watch them cheer. What does this crowd mean to you right now? That’s all I ask for every night. You know, that’s what I came came to do here since 23. Everybody talk about it. But you now you feel it when you when you win here. That at bat began by you laying off a pitch. Right. Right. We’ve talked a lot in the last couple of weeks about pitch recognition, looking for that pitch to hit. You fouled off a couple of fast balls, then you got the slider. What was the approach? What was in your mind? Not do too much. Not do too much. I want to win. That’s what I was at the play that was like, I can’t get out. I want to have to be here for my guys. I have to do everything I can. I want to win. We’ve talked about all these young players coming in tonight. You get Alex Bregman back. He came over and gave you one of the biggest high fives of all. This team is starting to come together. How much is the mood gone the way up here in the clubhouse? That’s amazing. That’s amazing. Earlier today, I told you about Anthony. That bat was huge right there. Was huge to have us win. And Marcelo Meyer, a couple pretty good plays there in the eighth inning. How good’s the defense? Yeah, it was amazing. I mean, he made two good plays and the double of the wall. I mean, they’re awesome, man. I’ll ask you finally, these fans, what’s your message to them about what’s coming up over the next couple of months? That keep coming, supporting us. We’re giving it 100% to play baseball in October again. Go enjoy it. Thanks, Adan. Thank you. Stay on Raphael or the walk-off

Ceddane Rafaela spoke after hitting his second career walk-off home run, saying again that he wants to do everything that he can to bring playoff baseball back to Fenway Park.

  1. Red Sox Nation! We got to believe in this team. Is a marathon, not a race. They are playing one hell of a baseball. Go red Sox Nation!!

  2. I know its their job to ask questions in big moments like this but every once in a while even as a viewer I want to say "Leave them alone, let them live in the moment" Some of the questions they ask are cringe in the respect that They don't think about stuff like that and you're putting them on the spot just for them to come up with the same generic answer that every athlete gives

  3. Ceddanne is going to be great for years to come. If they keep him in CF the front office needs to get him some additional padding out there as well don't need more Fred Lynn incidents.

All these kids are awesome! Get. Them. Some. Pitching!!!
