  1. Hoffman shouldn’t make another appearance until after the All-Star break.

  2. Don’t ask how just ask how many. Start of a new streak for your Toronto Blue Jays

  3. That was way too stressful. I would like an easy win for us with plenty of power out of our bats tomorrow please.

  4. Glad they won, but it would sure be nice to not blow all these 7-8 run leads.

  5. I will take it, a win is a win

On another note, can we talk about how good Nathan Lukes has been at leadoff? Dude gets on base 50% of the time it feels like, drives in runs, and it just adds so much depth to our lineup

  6. Who cares if we play down to our competition if we get the dubs we need in the end 😎

  7. We’re now tied with the Astros and only 3.5 games behind the Tigers!

  8. The people that went to bed early are going to be surprised by that final score when they check in the morning.

  9. Kirk kept us in that, but I love the commitment from Schneider to let Hoff see this thing out. That’s the kind of trust that gets rewarded down the line.

  10. With a 55-39 record, the Jays are now tied with the Cubs and Astros for the 3rd best record in baseball, trailing only the Tigers and Dodgers.

  11. I do love Arden doing a quick post game interview, as opposed to Hazel “Leslie Stahl” Mae conducting 60 Minutes pieces after a game

  12. Pour one out for the doomers, who are crushed that the worst team in the AL, with the worst management in baseball, and the worst owner in professional sport, just won against the Sacramento Athletics.

  13. Rough outing for Hoffman but hes been so good lately. These kinds of games do happen from time to time.

  14. I doubt he will have the best stats of our relievers by the end of the year, but Hoffman has been good enough since the start of June. He still has some leeway from me

  15. Everyone hoff this hoff that shh, sweetie – look at our batting! LOOK. Hits up and down the board, no weak spots. It’s beautiful – a work of art.

  16. Picturing these pissbabies fuming in silence unable to vindicate their righteous wrath until the 9th inning and then furiously typing their most base feelings in impassioned fury on a GDT thread at 1am only for the Jays to win is something to stew on
