And Lee the centerfield takes charge inning over dustin May dominated his last time against the White Sox. He was perfect through five innings. Here’s Michael Conforto making his return to San francisco. Now the wind up 32 pitch swing and a miss, he struck him out with a changeup two straight strikeouts for we and he’s one for his last 15 to two pitch. Chapman around third. He’ll score the goal at Jungle speeding into third. Has himself a stand up triple. He did it again against Dustin May. Lee hammered it just out of the reach of hernandez. Giants take a 32 lead infield comes in now for casey Schmidt. Schmidt lifts a fly ball to left field Conforto on to catch it. Lee’s headed for the plate. Here’s the throw from Conforto time he put it right on home plate and the Giants are going to challenge this. What a throw either way for Michael Conforto. Wow. Will Smith like a first baseman over there with a tag play going back door after the call, the runners out and has his fourth outfield assist of the year. None more impressive than that one right there. Johnny facing Webb swing and there’s a high drive in the deep left center field, Lee on the run back into his right onto the warning track at the wall jumps up and makes the catch bumps into the wall bounces off the batting, still holding on to it. Tom smith left handed hitter, each team with just three hits. High drive to left back is Conforto an opposite field home run for Do smith. Second Giants home run for Do Smith that was on the will to left center field. That’s a pretty good shot for a left handed hitter in this yard , 4 to 2 Giants. So if he watches one against the White Sox, that’s his fourth walk the last two innings. And they’re loaded up for the Giants most valuable player since he came over. Matt Chapman swinging a soft ground ball to second charged by kim. He goes after the runner makes the tag out throw to first, too late, comes in to score. So they get Devers Chapman safe at first on the fielder’s choice. A run for the Giants and a 5 to 2 game and that is going to do it for dustin May and Bo is on here in a tough spot facing the right handed batting Willie Adams. It is, there’s a shot right center field deep on the run to center field back and he can’t get to it. It rolls to the wall one runners in racing around third Chapman. He’s heading home and he’ll score standing up and siding to third with a triple is Willie Adam. Another shot into the gap in right center field and two more runs batted in for a guy who’s been an RB I machine in the last week, 7 to 2 Giants, they scored four times in the inning. Now, Lee the pitch on the way swing and a chopper to first over to his right to backhand it on the high hop freeman. The underhanded feed to Banda who’s late getting the first. Not in time. He was shaded into right center field and that ball scooted past him. Smith into second with a double Dodgers is 2nd and 3rd with one away. One of the biggest tells the task Hernandez has not quite been himself lately is the fact that he’s three for his last 34 with runners in scoring position. Fly to right center field and hit deep. Lee’s on the run. Can’t catch it, popped out of his glove and two runs will score. Dodgers take a bite out of the deficit. Lee is going back, Dodgers climbing back into this game, Michael Conforto to center field four in a flash and it’s 86 and Logan Webb, what we haven’t seen an inning like this for Logan Webb in a long, long time. And that’s all for Logan Webb who had an 8 to 2 lead when this inning started, kim the board with two out and the tying run is coming to the plate and there he goes, first pitch throw from Bailey not in time. He stole it easily swing and a pop up third baseman Chapman is waiting for it. He’s got it. Here’s Betts for the first of those four runs. Drives this ball to deep left center field, Lee’s on the run. He won’t get there. Betts hammers an extra base hit to the gap. He won’t stop at second. He’s got a triple and the Dodgers have the tying run coming up again. That’s as well hit a ball off his bat as we’ve seen in a while and Will smith, it falls on his shoulders. Now, fastball grounded through base, hit center field stuck with the hard stuff and Will Smith on a 12 pitch, banged a base hit into center the Dodgers are within one. Hassan Kim will come up, lifts one the other way, sends Ramos back. It’s over his head. A three hit night for Heong Kim and the tying run is in scoring position. The pitch a bouncer back toward the mound. Ha Ha Glove by Rogers and he throws him out at first. Here we go to the ninth inning. The Giants hit the Dodgers seven. Camilo Doval on to face Otani Betts and Freeman. Here’s the pitch bounced past the mound toward the middle right behind second glove by Adama and he throws him out at first one away. Betts crushed the ball to the wall and left center field his last time for a double ground ball base hit left field tying on the board in the ninth. And how about this is going to deploy the former stolen base champion Ruiz as the pinch runner for Betts ball four. And now the Dodgers have the possible tying run in scoring position. The league’s leading hitter coming up round one to third glove cleanly by Chapman, the second one, the 1st 25, double play and the, the Dodgers, they have now lost seven in a row.
