Dwight Stevenson is probably the best center the Dolphins have ever seen and arguably the NFL. Too bad we’ll never know because his career was cut short from a severe knee injury after just seven years. In that time span, he had five consecutive years where he had all pro and all AFC honors as well as Pro Bowls. He went to two Super Bowls. In 1985, he was granted the man of the year award. In six consecutive years, he was part of an offensive line that allowed the Dolphins to have the fewest sacks in the NFL. Dwight Stevenson, he wore the number 57.
