Baltimore Orioles vs Miami Marlins | LIVE! Play-by-Play & Commentary | 7/12/25 | Game #94

be a show. But Miss Kate said, “No, I’ll tell you what you can do. Take me out to the ball game. Take me out with the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and crackers, Jack. I don’t care if I never get back. Let me root. Root root for the home team. If they don’t win, it’s a shame. For it’s one, two, three strikes. You’re out at the old ball game. [Music] KT saw all the games, knew the players by their first names, told the umpire he was wrong all along, good and strong. When the score was just two to two, Casey Casey knew what to do. just to cheer up the boys she knew. She made the gang sing this song. Please take me out to the ball game. Take me out with the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and crack a jack. I don’t care if I never get back. Let me root root root for the home team. If they don’t win, it’s a shame for it’s one, two, three strikes. You’re out at the old ball game. [Music] Greetings, folks, and welcome to live coverage of Orioles baseball, where this afternoon the Baltimore Orioles will be playing the second game of a three-game series against the Miami Marlins here at Oriel Park at Camden Yards. How you doing everybody? It’s your old pal the bird watcher here. People call me BW for short. That works for me. Uh folks, the Orioles are trying to finish up strong before heading into the All-Star break. Uh this is perhaps our our only real chance uh to get back into this thing. We got to do it right now. And uh we’re on a bit of a roll. We’re trying to keep it going. Six wins out of the last seven were it not for a bad inning from Brian Baker and Manelino waiting one batter too long to take him out. Could have been seven straight. Uh we are as close to 500 as we’ve been in quite some time. And if we can finish out winning a couple of games against these Marlins, a team that we should beat if we have any designs of doing the near impossible. We got to take care of business here. Trevor Rogers is on the mound facing his former club and uh he’s been brilliant. Uh five starts, all but one has been really really good. One was just kind of eh. The other four have been really really good. Like like ace good when you look at the at the pitching lines. He’s on the mound today. And uh we got a pretty strong lineup out there as well. pretty much same looking lineup as last night, just uh switching the DH around. Uh we’re going to try to win this game here today. And if we do, we’ll get to uh what is it? Six games under, right? Because it I’m pretty sure if we win Yeah, we are seven games under. Trying to get to six under. 44 and 50. This is my version of coffee for right now. coming up on 3:00 a.m. local time here. And uh before we go any further, uh as we know, we’ve got a buddy waiting on standby over here. All right, the hat again. Just like yesterday, just like tomorrow, the hat is here from first pitch to last. We need to win these games. They give us a chance to take a little bit of a break and maintain hope that in the second half, which I mean, you know, if you’re looking at games, we’re well into the second half as is. This is game number 94 today. But, uh, you know, postall-star break, we’re trying to do something crazy. Let’s win these games, folks. All right. Uh the hat is here with us. Uh there’s a lot of uh information I want to go over regarding injuries, players who have been uh out for a while. There’s been a lot of updates uh this afternoon. And let me get through those real quick and then we can get to the lineups and the pitching matchup and we’ll be seeing the first pitch here in 10 minutes, nine minutes now. Okay. Uh, so several several uh injury notes here. I’m trying to figure out which account is the best one with all them in in one one spot. Uh, Ryan Mount Castle, let’s start with him, folks. Ryan Mount Castle is eligible to return from the disabled list on the 30th of July, the end of the month. And according to Manscolino, uh, he thinks that Mounty will be ready around that time. Now, when Mount Castle went down and the prospects looked like it was going to be maybe August until he got back, any ideas of him being a trade piece uh if we’re selling around the deadline? Didn’t seem like it’d be possible. Not many teams are going to be interested in a player that’s banged up. But if Mount Castle is going to be healthy right there at the end of the deadline, I don’t know, maybe he comes back into play. I would certainly like to see O’Harn extended and Mount Castle dealt away because Kobe Mayo seems to be the natural replacement for Mount Castle. Right-handed bat can kind of uh platoon a bit with O’Harn and what have you. Basically take on Mount Castle’s role. Uh but uh anyway, we’re just happy to know that Mount M Mount Mount Castle is working his way back and could be back with the team uh as soon as the 30th of July. He’s going to be going on a rehab assignment uh starting on the 22nd at Triple A Norfol. So, they’ve already lined up uh when his rehab will start. Uh he’ll be playing for the Tides probably for about a week and then hopefully he’ll be good to go. Adley Rutman uh is doing a little bit of work. He played catch with Kyle Bradish two innings of live batting p practice down in Sarasota uh earlier today. Uh nice to know that not only Adley is working on coming back, but he’s working with Kyle Bradish. And folks, I can’t wait till we get Kyle Bradish back. Uh Zack Efflin and Cade Povich, uh this was talked about yesterday, but just to confirm, uh they will both be making their first rehab starts and uh we’ll probably need a couple of starts uh before they come back, but they’re both going to make starts tomorrow. Uh for double A Chesapeake, Efflin will pitch and for a Aberdine Povich will pitch. Keegan Aken, meanwhile, uh, threw some down in Sarasota, uh, or he will, I’m sorry, on Monday. Keegan Aken will start throwing down at the spring training complex and then start his rehab assignment. And we’d love to get Aken back quickly because at the moment, we’ve only got one lefty in the bullpen. All right. Uh, is that it for the those are the main notes for the injuries, but several notes there. Uh let’s get to the lineups here quickly. Uh for the Florida Marlins, excuse me, Miami Marlins, Xavier Edwards will lead off and play second base. Augustine Ramirez is the catcher, batting second. Uh doing uh the dhing batting third. Herberto Hernandez. Herberto, he’s got some pretty impressive numbers uh in limited playing time. 74 at bats, hitting 338, 25 hits and 74 at bats. Otto Lopez, who hit a two-run homer in the ninth, broke up the shutout bid. Uh he will bat fourth in play shortstop. Eric Wagaman is at first, base hitting fifth. In left field, hitting sixth is Dne Meyers. Kyle Sters, who will be representing the Marlins at the All-Star game, he’ll he’ll hit seventh and play in right field. In center field hitting eighth is Derek Hill. And then batting ninth and third base. He was in center field last night. I want to say this. This guy plays all over the place apparently. Javier Cenoga is batting ninth. Folks, these aren’t household names. If you don’t remember him when they come up to hit, I don’t blame you. Here’s your Orio lineup real quick. I got to hurry up. It’s only already 5 minutes till first pitch. Uh Jackson Holiday will lead off and play second base. Jordan Westberg’s at third base. He’ll bat second. Gunnar Henderson is the shorts stop hitting third. Ryan O’Harn batting fourth, playing first base. Ramon Lauraniano’s back in the field, right field hitting fifth. Colton Cowser in left field batting sixth. Tyler O’Neal will be the DH in this one. He’s batting seventh. Mullins will hit eighth in center field. And Jacob Stallings will do the catching again. He’ll bat ninth. On the mound, the matchup is Trevor Rogers facing his former club. Rogers a two and0 record, a 1.57 RA, and a 187 whip. I mean, just outstanding. Five starts and four of them were extremely impressive. Uh Jansen Junk, meanwhile, we’ll get the the call for the Marlins. He’s a right-hander with a 3-1 record, 312 erra in a 104 whip. He’s only pitched 43 and a third innings on the season. Uh given up about a hit per inning and doesn’t walk many people at all. Just four walks in 43 and a third innings and just one home run. Wow. Looks like the Orioles are going to have to figure out ways to score without the benefit of a walk or a homer. I mean, not to say that it’s impossible, but you look at those numbers and they tell you don’t depend on those ways to score runs. Uh we just need to get some oldfashioned hits, I think. All right. Uh let’s get this game up on the screen here. Uh just uh to be out in front of everything, folks. I’m not complaining. This isn’t a complaint, but I This is the most sleepdeprived I have ever been while doing this. Uh I did not get any sleep since uh we last hung out last night. Virtually none. I mean, I tried. I laid down, closed my eyes, just couldn’t sleep. Little bit of insomnia, folks. It might be that way uh through tomorrow, but I got a feeling once we get to the break, I’m probably just going to spend that break mostly in bed. Just resting up. I need to. All right. Where is this game? All right. There you go. What else is going on, folks? How’s everybody doing in the Charm City chat? I hope the optimism is palpable. I hope everybody is feeling good. And I mean, folks, the baseball gods, will they be good to us? I mean, you look at the pitching matchup, it really looks good for us. Rogers again has been really, really good. And he might even have a idea or two of how to get out a few of these Marlin hitters that he’s probably familiar with. Uh, but then again, they’ve probably got a book on him as well. But Jansen Junk. Really? We can’t beat a guy named Junk. We have to beat Junk. All right, I won’t tolerate any anything less. Uh, what else? All right, the game is up. Sorry that I don’t know what’s going on with the lighting here. Usually, it’s not this obvious that I’m green screened in, but uh I don’t know what’s going on. I fiddled around with the lighting. I don’t want to make it any brighter than it already is. Uh but you know, just use your imagination, folks. All right. How’s everybody doing in the Charm City chat? What do we What do we got in here right now? Already 68 people before first pitch. That’s good to see. 28 likes, folks. I know you haven’t heard me call anything yet, but if you’re used to this channel, you know the drill. Just go ahead and tap that thumbs up and get it out of the way if you don’t mind. Get that number up to as close to the number of people watching as we can. Uh, let’s see. Here is Matt, Patrick, Frederick, Eric, Warren, Miss Janet, Elwood, and Hutchkins, Bookdock, Nicholas, Trevor Rogers. The Orioles got their orange jersey tops on with the white pants. It’s not an orange out, just orange tops with the white pants. And folks, we’ll just wait for uh Rogers to get loose. In the meantime, little trip down memory lane. [Music] He met a strange friend in the Chesapeake Bay. Folks, yeah, I’ve got a few more buttons on the soundboard. Ain’t it great? Ain’t it great? R I O L E S. Magic. Magic. Oreos. Folks, what am I drinking? Uh, it’s coffee. Uh, it’s cold. It’s a cold coffee. There you go. There, folks. My first sponsor other than Dickens Cider. Folks, do you like the good tart taste of a good hard apple cider? Folks, nobody out there makes it better than the Dickens family. The Dickens family has been making great apple cider for generations, and it’s available now at your local ger. So, please head on down at your local Giant or Safeway and pick up some Dick Insider. All right, Trevor Rogers is on the bump. Xavier Edwards has just stepped into the batters box and we are ready for game two of this three-game series against the Marlins. First pitch of the ball game is outside for ball one. Edwards switchhitting infielder, middle infielder. He uh hitting he’s hitting 288 without a home run on the season. And this one’s popped up and out of play to make the count. One ball and one strike. Marlins are wearing their black jersey tops with the gray pants. So, orange and black on the field. That works for me. Those are my colors. One and one. The count on Edwards. And what’s going on? Why haven’t we gotten to the next pitch? Here it comes. Swing and a miss. A change up on the outside edge. One and two. Let’s see if the scoreboard’s up and working yet. Almost. The one two is low. Count even a two and two to the leadoff man Edwards. All right, there is the board. Where am I? What happened to me? The two- two pitch outside full count. Hi, how you doing? Full count on Edwards leading off the ball game and the payoff pitch is hit in the air. Foul off to the right. Long at bat to begin the afternoon. And there’s already a chant going on in the crowd of let’s go O’s. 3-2 pitch. That one’s fisted toward the right side of the infield into the outfield. Holiday will make the catch. Just a a weak little popup. Half popup half flare over toward Holiday for the first out of the ball game. Here is Augustine Ramirez. 242 average, 14 homers and 40 RBI. Big cut and a miss. He went down to a knee after that swing. Rogers blows a fast ball by him upstairs. 0 and one, folks. I I I uh I went on Twitter today. I went on Orioles Twitter. That’s always a mistake. 01 pitch up the middle. Gunnar Henderson will field it near the near the bag. And unfortunately, O’Harn cannot handle the throw. That’s going to have to be an error. It’s just a matter of whether or not it hit the dirt. O’Harn will tell you he’s got to make this play even if it was in the dirt. But if it is in the dirt. No, it didn’t even hit the dirt. That’s an E E3 on O’Harn. Boy, you hate to see that. That’s O’Harn’s first error of the season. And it allows the leadoff man to get on base and he’s got speed. I’m sorry. That’s the number two batter. My fault. Number two batter. That’s good. I thought we were still with the leadoff man. That’s the number two batter, folks. I’m already screwing up. Uh here is Herabberto Hernandez. First pitch is a ball and the next one is fouled back. One and one on Hernandez. We didn’t see him in last night’s ball game, but he’s got 25 hits and 74 at bats in his limited playing time on the season. That is a 330 better than 333 average. 338 to be precise. One- one pitch is inside. Two and one. Let’s see. George is here. Lazy bum. How we doing everybody? Oh, sports sports rout. How you doing? 2-1 pitch. Swung on a miss. It’s a two-2 count. We are just getting started here, folks. Top of the first, one away and a runner at first base. Batter at the plate has a 2-2 count and the pitch to him is a little bit inside. Very close. But it’s another full count for Rogers on Hernandez. Here comes the payoff pitch. Bottom of the zone. He nails it. Called. Strike three. Sit down. Well, y’all come back now. You hear? 96 miles an hour. Middle of the plate at the very very bottom of the zone. Two away. That’ll bring up Otto Lopez. Lopez broke up the shutout bid from the Orioles pitching staff in the ninth inning yesterday with a two-run homer to left. And the first pitch to him had the strike zone on the outside edge, but the ump calls it ball one. Do that again, blue, and we’re going to have to get the bees on you. Lopez is hitting 250. There’s a strike. Rogers is painting that bottom inside corner right on the money. One ball, one strike. Lopez has 10 homers and 46 RBI. The 1-1 is a Oh, it’s a change up out of the hand. It looked like it was a slider sweeping across the plate. It’s a change up low and end. The count is two and one. Two and one. There’s a strike fast ball a sinker at 96 count even at two and two. Rogers trying to get through this first inning. He’s about to throw his 20th pitch. You don’t want to throw many more than that. 2-2 is fouled at the plate and it will be more than 20 pitches for Rogers in this inning. Let’s get this guy out or else it’s going to be even longer. Look at that view. Man, I love that ballpark. Oh, that’s not a good pitch. Lopez never was interested at that low pitch. It’s a full count. Another one. That’s the only concern so far really I’m seeing from Rogers is having to throw a lot of pitches. The payoff outside ball four and that will make it a long inning for Rogers already on 22 pitches. Eric Wagaman will be up next. Wagaman hitting 245 with five homers and 33 RBI. And the first pitch to him is a slider that catches the inside corner for a strike. Wagman hits about 50 points higher against lefties than righties. And the 01 pitch is a foul ball. He was late on the fast ball. The count is 0 and2. All right, let’s make this a quick atbat. You already got an 02 count. 24 pitches. Let’s keep it down. Rogers has already worked up a layer of sweat out there. Here is the O2. Swinging a miss upstairs with the gas. Sit down. Right. Three. Well, you all come back now. You hear? All right, Rogers. It took a lot to get out of that first inning. He only gave up the one base runner, but a lot of deep counts. We got to get that pitch count down. Otherwise, no problem. We’ll go to the bottom of the first. Marlins nothing and the Orioles are coming up, folks. Uh, I gotta go grab my liies. So, sit back and enjoy a conversation between Harry Kerry and Jimmy Pawol. Okay. Where is that clip? Where did I Where did I put that clip? Oh, there it is. Be right back, folks. Harry, you’re you’re full of energy. You look great. I hate to tell you how I feel. I had that bad back myself. Also with this cold, it just seems like it’s settled in there. That’s age, friend. I don’t care what it is. It feels awful. You smell like a drugstore. That’s right. I am a drug. You’re not a hypochondric, are you? What does that mean? Over sexed? What? [Music] [Music] He met a strange friend in the Chesapeake Bay. All right, we are ready for the bottom of the first. It’s Jackson Holiday to lead it off and he looks at a first pitch strike. A back door slider from Jansen Junk. This guy a junk baller. It seems like he is without ever having seen him automatically with a name like that. That pitch is a curve ball low and in. One ball, one strike on Holiday. [Music] Junk has made four starts, nine appearances altogether. There’s a called strike on a fast ball at 92. Wow. So, not too much velocity on the fast ball. 92 from junk. That seems like a junk baller’s fast ball. Uh, usually a junk baller is referencing a lefthander, though. For whatever reason, they get that moniker. Uh, this ball is a big bouncer and the pitcher over by the first baseline will field it as Holiday is passing him by. He just applies a tag and that’s it for Jackson. a comebacker to the pitcher and it’s a unassisted put out on the tag. Here is Jordan Westber, folks. Westber scored three runs in that game last night. Well, West is that way. Three of the five runs scored by Jordan Westber. He also drove in one of the other two. Tell me he’s not the cog in this offense. That pitch is fouled away. It’s 0 and one. Westber’s hitting 261 with 10 homers and 21 driven in OPS is over 800. 01 is laid off. Pitch low and away. Count even up at a ball and a strike. This one’s fouled back. This piece of junk. The one-two pitch. Westber lifts it into center field and it will make it about probably 10 to 15 feet in front of the track. Center fielder will make the catch for the second out. Probably probably 12 feet probably. Here’s Gunnar Henderson. His name’s Gunnar and he’s dating my mom. Oh, look at the bird bath. They are into it right now. The splash zone is uh packed packed up over there. Here’s Gunner. First pitch is a curve ball that drifts up and away for ball one. Next pitch is over the plate but low. Two and0. Two and0 on Gunner. That deserves a bugle. [Music] And that one’s lime. Base hit into left center field. It’s rolling. Gunner should have two. He turns. Here he comes. The throwin is late. He gets in there standing. A two out double. Splash it up. [Music] There you go. There you go, Gunner. Oh, his his head. Oh, watch him on that hit. His head is so locked in on that pitch. Locked in on that baseball. Took it where it was pitched. 106.5 off the bat. Here is Ryan O’Harn, folks. O’Harn lights on. It’s turn and burn. Was able to survive an error in the top of the first. His only error on the season. He looks at a fast ball right down the gut. It is one and one. O’Harn was two for four last night, including a double. That one is lifted to right field and down for a base hit. Gunnar Henderson’s going to round second and try to What the hell? Gunner round I said round second. I’m I can’t even Gunner is out by a mile at the plate. I apologize for not calling it well, but uh Gunner with two down. Buck Britain, I guess, aggressively sending Gunner, but uh he was nailed by about 30 feet and the inning is over. I don’t know what happened there. That’s on Buck Britain. You got to think that was uh Yeah, we like to be aggressive with the base running two down. You know, you want to try to score, but that was uh that wasn’t that wasn’t too good. I don’t know what happened. Wasn’t even close. We go to the second inning. No score. All right, folks. Hang in there. And let me go back to Twitter and make sure. So, yeah, I knew I’d get a response. Let’s see what this guy both played in double header versus the Mets. Jackson had two double. Oh, so now you know his name. He should have started yesterday, then off today, then played. So now you’re worried about yesterday. God. Oh, thank you for the education. Baseball is a game of consistency and streaks. Yeah, and this is a consistent lineup and we’re on a streak. Uh, so going by your point, sir, I I I love this. This guy’s talking to me like I’m four years old and I don’t know how baseball works. Baseball is a game of consistency and streaks. Folks, we’re back. Sorry. As I was going into my tirade, it looks like the internet dropped out for about 10 seconds. My apologies. We should be back on. Let me know if we are. I’m trying to get the game back up now, too. Everything went down there for a sec. Uh, what’s going on now? The game’s not opening. What’s wrong with my Wi-Fi, folks? Come on now. What are you doing? Uh, I guess follow the game. Oh, I’m I’m going to have to refresh this, too. It looks like that froze. Oh my god. What a what a It’s a disaster, folks. It’s a disaster. Oh, hang in there. Trying to get everything back up right now. Uh, Star Wars is at the plate right now. Just follow that on your screen. It looks like he’s got an O2 count. Well, now that’s jumping out of place. Good lord. Everything I need I need at least four more arms right now. What is going on? Everything is acting screwy. You got to be kidding me, man. Why are you doing this? Is torture. Is this a saw trap? Am I in a saw trap right now? Is there a little like mannequin on a tricycle just pedalling around me right now? This is ridiculous. [Laughter] Come on, open up the damn game. I want to watch. BW wants to watch the ball game. Mayhe, it’s not open. What is Oh my god. It was working fine. The internet went down. Everything is up. I have a connection, but now I can’t get the damn game on. I’m going to my backup. Okay, the backup’s working. All right. It’s not an HD, but it’ll do. All right, there’s two down, so Roger’s got two quick outs, apparently. Good. We like that. It’s a 1-1 count on the current batter, Hill. Now, now what? Derek Hill at the plate. What? Now, what are you doing? Why? Why are you doing this to me? behave. I guess this inning is just an inning that I was never meant to watch and this inning is now over. Folks, it was a great inning. Uh Rogers sets the Marlins down one, two, three. How did he do it? I’ll read it to you in a sec, but I didn’t see any of it. Uh, but at least it’ll give me a couple of minutes to make sure this stream is up and working without any more issues. So, hang in there, folks. That ending will just happily they uh All right, I have to I have to actually just leave for a sec. My computer is really being a pain. So, stand by. I’m gonna go off camera for a sec because right now I need uh to concentrate. Be right back. Okay, good grief. I am about to throw something. Okay, there’s a runner at first and now a ground ball, a force out at second base. So, a fieldielder’s choice. Let me catch up. I’m all over the place. Colton Cowser just grounded out into a fielder’s choice. Raone Lauraniano led off the inning with a base hit in the center field. He is uh taken out on that uh fielders’s choice. Cows are now at first base with one down in the bottom of the second. We are scoreless. Previous half inning. Uh Meyers popped out to second. Sters struck out and Hill also struck out. Rogers with four strikeouts through the first two innings. Tyler O’Neal is at the plate and he’s got a 10-0 count. I think we’re now caught up. Ahoy there. Anybody home? Pitch is lowing away. 2 and0 in O’Neal. And yeah, my touchpad on my computer is just being a real pain. It’s clicking when I’m not even touching it now. Cowser goes and there’s no throw. Colton Cowser has stolen second base. How about that? And that was ball three to O’Neal on the pitch. Hower didn’t even Get a throw. O’Neal is swinging on three and 0. That better get out of play. I don’t believe it. Tyler, what are you doing, man? 3 and 0. 3 0 count. And he pops up in foul ground to the first baseman for the second out. Oh, you never want to make an out like that with a three- 0 count. Two away and that’ll bring up said Mullins. First pitch to him is called a strike at the top of the zone. This pitch is hit to left field and it’s going to be a foul ball down in the corner. 0 and2 on Mullins. still 0 and2 and the pitch is hit on the ground to second. That will not do it. Edwards will throw to first in time and the inning is over. The Orioles leave a runner on. And that’s I’m sorry. I’m I’m so distracted right now. I can’t even I can’t even focus. I’m doing a bad job right now. Let me try to get it together. H I just I folks, I promise you, I’ll be right back and then we’ll be together without any more interruptions. Just give me a sec and I think I’ve got everything worked out. Be right back. Sorry folks. Let Earl Weaver teach you how to throw a umpire or how to get tossed. Oh wow. Here he come. Let me show you what I mean. Now by the first thing you do is get right up in their face. You point the finger. Then if you can’t get close enough, you turn the hand around and kick some dirt. And then if he’s missed a sprite, you get over here and you put dirt all over the thing. You throw the hat down. You pick it up. You throw it. I mean, you’re so bad you throw him out the game. You’re out of here. That’s the way a major league manager should. I learned something. Okay. Okay. Okay. Oh my. Got awfully hot in here. Whenever I get flustered, I start to get hot. And I got hot. All right. Thank you for teaching me everything about baseball. I was lost, but now I get it. [Music] What a jerk. Folks, I’m going to read out this entire exchange at some point during the ball game. You got to love the Twitter conversations, folks. Good grief. Trevor Rogers has an 01 count on the leadoff man for the Marlins in the top of the third. Cenoa. And on the next pitch, Cenoa hits a ball into center field. Mullins will back up and make a catch. Burst out here in the top of the third. Uh Bobby Cox. Bobby Cox passed Earl Weaver by uh by plenty. at actually Cox has been thrown out well over a hundred times. Earl only got up into the 90s, but there is a bit of a there is a bit of a an asterisk when it comes to the ejection uh total, the official ejection total, cuz Earl Weaver got tossed many times before the games ever started. He would go out and if he had an issue with an umpire in the previous game, he’d go out whenever they’d hand out the lineup card and get tossed right there. Uh Xavier Edwards at the plate. He takes a strike to even up the count at one and one. One out, nobody on, but they don’t count ejections uh like that if they’re not in the actual process of the ball game. Now, I don’t know what the total number of ejections before a game Earl racked up, but uh that would definitely put him pretty close to Bobby Cox, I would think. Here’s a pitch fouled away. The count is one and two. This guy, I have to read you this. This guy is such a pompous jerk, [Laughter] folks. Apparently, I don’t know. I don’t I don’t know anything about baseball. I I I’m just walked in. What is this game? One-two pitch is tapped in front of the plate. Stallings will pounce on it. Throw to first in time. Two away. Nice play by Stallings. Did everything right there. Two down. Base is empty. Rogers doing his thing out there again. Oh, he just replied again. I’m glad this guy’s got time. He actually wrote back, “No, I wrote back to him. Thank you for teaching me about baseball.” And he wrote back, “No problem.” And like I told Oh my god, we’re going to have to read through all this. This ball’s popped up. We’re going to read through all this. Holiday at second base has it and the inning is over. We got no score. We’re going to the bottom of the third, folks. So, listen to this. The Orioles put out their lineup today. And I went to go look at it because it was so late. They they were very late in putting out a lineup today. Like, it was only about an hour and 15 minutes before the ball game. So, I go to look at it and I made the mistake of looking at the comments and of course like every time you look at comments on a Twitter post, somebody is going to have a problem with something, right? So, everybody’s saying, “Oh, why isn’t Mayo playing? Oh, this lineup stinks.” And all this and I’m like, I wrote, “Could every cremagin on here zip it for one freaking day? It’s a strong lineup with the current roster as is. Rogers has been pitching well. We are trying to finish up strong into the break and give ourselves a reason to hope. Hope. Remember that concept? Shut up and root on. Right. And this one guy writes back to me, O’Neal’s a bum. His one hit in quotes. Norby should have caught. He’s slow and doesn’t hustle. There’s no reason if you’re trying to win to play him over Mayo at DH. Guarantee he hits into one double play and no hits with runners in scoring position. We should also be starting the catcher who hit two doubles versus the Mets. Right. And I write, so do you plan to stew about this or are you going to watch the game and cheer on the team on the field? We all want Mayo to develop. We all feel O’Neal was a bad signing, but you can’t tell me that Mayo in the lineup over O’Neal today is a game changer. It’s a consistent lineup that’s being put out there. I always watch, but I’m not ignoring dumb S. We are paying fans. It is more than a gamecher. It’s a career future changer. O’Neal hasn’t earned a damn thing over Mayo, who’s busting his ass to get better while Tyler’s been at home most this season, killing Mayo’s confidence. We’ll have to continue this conversation later. Jacob Stallings will lead off the bottom of the third. It gets better. Oh, this guy really this guy is going to teach me a thing or two here in a minute. Stalling’s first pitch is all the way to the back stop from junk. A high pitch that uh got away. Ball one. Hey JJ, how you doing buddy? No score. Bottom of the third. Holiday will be up next. There’s a strike. one-on-one. So, this guy, you know, he he he knows everything in and out about the Orioles, but he refers to Alex Jackson, our number two catcher at the moment, as the catcher who had the two doubles the other day. Okay, that pitch is fouled away. One ball and two strikes. I’d invite him to come over and check out my channel, but I got a feeling he would be the biggest pain in the butt in this chat. One, two pitch. That one’s fouled off to the left. We’ll do it again, folks. Whenever I do dabble in Twitter, it’s it’s really out of morbid curiosity than anything. When I’m having these exchanges, it’s just like, “All right, dude. How how long are you willing to go?” They always want the last word, too. As soon as you get into one of these, they have to have the last they got to have the last word. And this guy could not pick up on my sarcasm. Now, I know I said the other day that in text form, sarcasm isn’t always easy to indicate, but boy did I make it obvious. Stallings with a pop up to left field. And waiting on it, making the catch out there is Meyers. There’s one away. I tell you what, this Marlins team’s got a lot of dudes. I don’t know. Now, if this guy wanted to give me an education on the Marlins, I’d be all ears. Here’s Jackson Holiday. [Music] First pitch, foul back. Oh, I think some folks here have a little bit of an idea. Are they nice, JJ? Do they do they do they hold the door open for you? Here’s a called strike to Holiday. It’s 0 and2. Oh, it’s okay, Travis. Everybody should know they’re extremely fortunate to have me. Come on now. 02 to Holiday is high. One ball, two strikes. One out, nobody on in the bottom of the third. Come on, offense. We got to get to Jansen Junk. One-two pitch. Fouled at the plate. We’ll do it again. Yeah, George. I think that’s probably enough. And again, uh, where is my phone? I would show you my phone if it was in within arms reach. That just shows you how little I mean, just that fact alone. Trying to prove to you how little I care about social media. But, uh, I don’t even know where my phone is. Uh, one two count on Holiday. Swing and a miss. Two down. Holiday down on strikes. Come on, offense. We need to just get something on the board here. Rogers is looking good, but we got to get to this junk. Yeah, it’s out of reach because it’s a landline. That’s right. Here’s Jordan Westber. First pitch swinging, hit on the ground to first and that ball will be taken to the bag by Wagaman unassisted to end the inning. Nothing doing for the Orioles in this inning. They have three hits. The Marlins don’t have one at all, but uh we are scoreless going into the fourth. All right, let me finish up with this guy. This guy says he always watches. We’re paying fans. It’s more than a game changer. It’s a career changer. Killing mayor’s confidence. Blah blah blah. Right. And I said, “You don’t like O’Neal?” Well, if you want him to go quickly, root for him to get it going. He exercises his option and then he leaves. But if you don’t play him, the most expensive salary on the team will haunt you for the next three years. So, how about you calm down again and just root the team on? Like, there’s a point, right? If Tyler O’Neal, if you don’t like Tyler O’Neal, guess what? He’s got a three-year contract. He’s got the biggest salary on the team right now, and he’s got a player option, which means if he performs well, he will want to exercise that option and test free agency to go get another contract. Why wouldn’t you want this guy to succeed if he’s in the lineup? Just, you know, I get it. Overall, Kobe Mayo is the future. Tyler O’Neal is not a good signing, blah blah blah. But we’ve won six out of the last seven. Uh we’re putting out a consistent lineup right now. You know, if Mayo had been playing more, which I would have liked to see, but the fact is he hasn’t. Who knows what Mayo would have done after not having played for some time here. And even, you know, just regardless if it was Mayo over O’Neal today as a DH, I would have looked at it and been pretty much feeling the same. Like, could it just possib be possible once in a while where it’s option A or B and it’s really not that big of a deal? But again, everybody’s got to sit there and look at I’m sure this guy has the perfect thing to say for every lineup. Uh, we’re in the top of the fourth inning. Quit. What? What’s that, Jake? Oh, Jake wants to now be the the new antagonist in the room. Is that what’s happening? Oh. Oh, one pitch is low. One ball, one strike. Oh, good. Because I’m all warmed up. Fix the banner. Uh, what banner would that be? What would you like me to fix? What would you like me to fix there, Jake? This banner. What banner? One and one. The count on Hernandez. Pitch outside. Two and one. Jake still here. And I don’t have my thesaurus. Could you tell me what blloviating means? It’s first time I’ve ever seen that word. I’m dumb. This pitch is fouled away. Two and two. Hey, David. What’s up, man? That’s a good idea, Joel. I could probably just go back to every Twitter post of a lineup and just go back. Called strike three on a two- two pitch. Rogers strikes. Oh, I see. Tyler O’Neal is frozen on the uh I gotcha. Okay, I see it now. All right. Thank you for the friendly helpful hint. Ah, this guy’s this guy’s a charmer, isn’t he? Uh first pitch to Lopez is outside. Want to know that? Okay now, buddy. We good? Sorry about that free content and everything. There’s a called strike. The count even up at one and one. Yeah, Mayo would have Mayo would have been a better choice to fix that. I’m sorry. I don’t know. I got to learn. One-1 pitch is hit in the air. Foul out of play. Kick some dirt on the thing. One and two the count. Swing and a miss. Another strike out for Rogers. Well, you all come back now. You hear? Ah, the T. Oh, okay. Gotcha. Thank you. It’s so small on my little monitor I I can’t even read it. But uh yeah, I guess when the the internet had that little problem, everything got frozen in place. I will correct that momentarily. It should flash. There it goes. That looked better now. This pitch is fouled away. It’s 0 and2. Jake, you good now? Sorry, I I didn’t mean to ruin your day, Jake. I’ll be sure to fire myself. 0 and2 the count on Wagaman. Two down. That pitch is over the plate but low. One ball, two strikes. All right, folks. I got to lock in this. I knew the sleep deprivation was going to catch up with me. I’m not complaining about it. It’s just I know I’m not uh doing my best here. One, two pitch is a check swing. Uh foul ball. It’s still a ball and two strikes. It’s just noticeable for me. Like my ability to reach for words before I speak is not as good. Just not I’m not processing information. My synapses are not firing at the normal rate. All right, we got a one-tw count on Wagaman and the pitch. That one’s lined up the middle on a bounce to Holiday and he will throw to first to win the inning. Four shutout innings for Rogers. He has yet to give up something. Why talk about it? Why talk about it? He’s yet to give up something. All right, I can’t roll a fatty anymore, Rod. The laws have changed out here. But I can have a regular lucky Oh, Jake said, “Thanks.” You’re welcome, Jake. Jake, thanks for being so charming here in the Charm City chat. The first time you’ve ever chirped and it was to basically uh tell me to quit whatever I was doing and fix something for you. Thanks. I hope I get to meet you sometime. You seem like a swell guy. Enjoy the ball game. All right. I’ll be right back. BW is probably going to go through a lot of luckies tonight. Good grief. There’s the one two behind the to right center field. has a base hit and that one gets away from Jazz. Another run is in. More bad defense from the Yankees. It’s 7 nothing. Jazz could have handled the throw coming in from the outfield. And just like that, it is a seven to nothing ball game. Just [ __ ] take the whole team off the field, man. Take the whole team off the field. Take the whole team off the field. Take them all. Get them all [ __ ] out of here. I’m so done. I I can’t even look at this anymore, man. I can’t look at this [ __ ] anymore. This is pathetic. This is This is This is truly disgusting. This is disgusting. All right, bottom of the fourth. Okay, I am settled in. It is time now to put some runs on the board, folks. Enough nonsense. We’ve got Gunner Henderson to lead things off. No more distractions for for BW. We got to take care of business. His name’s Gunnar and he’s dating my mom. All right, first pitch of the inning coming up. It is high to Gunner for ball one. Gunner doubled back in the first inning. Be nice to get him on as a leadoff man here. He takes a strike middle of the plate, upper half of the zone. And the 1-1 is fouled off to the left. Gunner, folks. His name’s Gunner and he’s dating my mom. [Music] The one-two pitch hit on the ground to second. Edwards has it and Gunner is tossed out. One away. Junk is only on 40 pitches. We got to make him work more than this. One out in the fourth. Here’s Ryan O’Harn. He’s one for one. Lights on. Let’s turn and burn. First pitch to a Hearn is on the outside edge for a called strike. 01 inside count. Even one ball, one strike. Oh, folks, I don’t know what it is. I can’t I can’t seem to find that gear. That’s a ground ball first base. And it’ll be an unassisted put out over there. for the second out. Wagaman making the play. Lauraniano coming up. He’s got a hit. How do three guys in a row in the lineup have a hit? But we don’t have a run. Oh, that’s right. We made it out on the bases, didn’t we? Gunner got thrown out on that O’Harn hit at the plate. Uh Lauriano looks at ball one outside. Next pitch is fouled away. One ball and one strike. the 1-1 pitch just kisses the outside corner, outside edge of the zone for a strike. It’s one and two on Lauraniano. Slider low count even up at two balls, two strikes. Raone just threw a rock at me. Wow. The 2- two pitch popped up. First baseman has a look, but it’s out of reach into the stands. Oh, look at JJ helping out with the like count. Thanks, JJ. JJ, I might need you to call this game. I am uh I’m not This is not a complaint. I’m just I’m I’m very unhappy with uh my ability to focus right now and I think it’s from lack of sleep. We got a full count on Lauraniano. I know it. I listened to yesterday’s call. It was It was great. I I made a great call yesterday’s game. Here’s a ground ball to third. Throwing on the run. It’s a high throw, but the first baseman able to get the foot down in time to get the out on Lauraniano. That’ll do it. Jeez Louise. We go to the fifth inning. Still scoreless in Baltimore. Oh my. Yeah. How am I going to find that reserve? I can’t just keep drinking caffeine. Can I? I don’t know. I guess I can try. All right, let’s see what that does. I want to be pumped. I mean, we’re on a roll. I want to keep that enthusiasm going, but my head is like it’s like swimming. My head is swimming right now. I need everybody to to be in on this game today with me right now because uh I am not 100%. Jeez Louise. I’m sorry folks. We’re almost to the All-Star break. I can take a big old rest then. No problem. Hey, Lonnie. Thanks for subscribing and uh being very uh friendly and introducing yourself. It’s a it’s a refreshing change. Welcome in, Lonnie. Say hi to Lonnie, folks. Hey, Erin, thanks for the help. Yeah, folks, hit the like button if you haven’t already. Honestly, I I’m not going to be too worried about the stats today. I just want to be able to call a game without uh collapsing. That’s my number one mission. All right, Trevor Rogers, folks. He’s been very good. We want him to continue to do what he’s doing. First pitch is a strike to Meyers. 0 and one. 55 pitches for Rogers. A lot in the first inning. That one’s lying to left field. And that ball is going to get down for a base hit. So there you go. Rogers had not given up a hit until now. A leadoff single and the Marlins have the leadoff man on here. Kyle Sters coming up. Hey, thanks Frank. And yeah, that double header was uh that was something. I think I was working on adrenaline last night after that double header. It just shows you folks like you can understand doing this how players can kind of not show up for a game or just the the you know the it’s just not there. You get you get worn out sometimes. Check swing. Sters doesn’t go. He’s got a 20 count. It’s not. And yeah, JJ knows more than anybody. JJ puts in mad hours calling games. Hours I can’t possibly keep up with. Then again, most of my games are being called like now 4:00 in the morning. That pitch is low and the throw down to the runner trying to steal second and he’s off the bag. He’s going to be out. Gunner Henderson applying a tag. The runner Meyers must have slid over the bag. Gunner keeping the tag on him. The umpire waiting to make sure. And yeah, we just nailed Meyers trying to steal second base even though he got there in plenty of time. He came off the bag, got up and tried to dance around. All right, the bases are empty again. A three 0 count to Sters. He hits a ball to the right side along the first baseline, but it’s foul. Yeah. So you can understand why maybe I’m a little bit deflated in terms of my phys my physical self. But you know my heart my heart is is beating and it’s it’s it’s doing fine. I’m in this I’m in this. We got a 3-1 count on Sters. That’s ball four. Fast ball low and away. And how big is getting that runner out at second? It’s a runner at first with one out instead of two on with nobody out. I have never seen an Orioles playoff game either at Memorial Stadium or at Camden Yards. Never had an opportunity to get to see a playoff game in person. Ah, JJ, why’ you have to ask me that? Now I have to sit here and wonder, will I ever see a playoff game in person for my beloved Orioles? Here’s Derek Hill. He’s got an 01 count, first pitch strike. Rogers gets the sign and the next pitch is over the plate but low. One ball, one strike. Rogers starts his delivery and then throws over to first to the guy that was part of the trade package that sent Rogers to us. Sters’s on at first. Rogers checking on him. One-1 pitch coming in and it’s fouled away. You have a signed Anthony Santandere hat. Nice. I don’t have any autographs. I don’t think I’ve gotten an autograph of any kind since I was in my teens. I used to go to a lot of uh like baseball card shows and what have you where some current players and ex- players would show up, sit at a table, you wait in a line, you get their autograph. That’s how I got to meet Bill Ripken the first time. I remember him signing signing a baseball for me that way. Uh, one-two pitch fouled away by Hill. Still a ball and two strikes. Nice, Janet. Did you get that in person from Brooks or was it just uh I say just either way, it’s great to have, but did you get to meet him in the process or was it given to you? Uh, I don’t think so, JJ. if it exists. I don’t know where it is to I’m not It might be in a trunk somewhere in a in an attic somewhere. We got a one two count on Hill Still. The pitch fouled away. A lot of pitches in this I bet. And it’s still one and two. Seven pitches and the last five have been fouls. Next pitch, another foul ball. Trevor Rogers is watching his pitch count climb back up there again with this at bat. Next pitch will be number 70. That’s a nice That’s a nice one. Lonnie swung on and fouled at the plate. It’s still a ball and two strikes. Good grief. This atbat will not end. Crowd is starting to make noise now at this long at bat. Another one-two pitch inside. Rogers finally gives in and throws a pitch off the plate. And the count is two and two. 11 pitches in this at bat. Number 12 called strike three on the inside edge. Good grief. Talk about earning that one. Well, y’all come back now. You hear? Good grief. An innings worth of pitches to get this guy out. There’s two down now. Runner still at first base. Stersa at the plate and he takes inside. Ball one. Rogers up to seven strikeouts. That’s the most he’s had in a ball game this season. We’re just two out in the fifth. Check on Ster. He’s back standing. Another check on Sters. That’s two disengagements, which means if Sters does have designs on running, you’ll likely take an extra half step lead here, knowing that uh another check could result in a free base. That pitch is high. It’s 2 and 0 on Senoa. Let’s concentrate on this hitter. Rogers. There’s two down. It’s the number nine hitter. Just worry about him and we’ll be out of the inning. Two pitches in there for a strike. Two and one. Pretty good looking crowd here. Two-1 pitch. Pops straight up. Stallings takes a look. He has a play in foul ground. He has to lunge for it, but he does make the catch and the inning is over. Rogers had to labor and all he did was give up a hit. The first hit he’s given up on the day. But we finally get out of the inning and we are still scoreless. This ball game is halfway over. My goodness. Can we get this offense going? Pretty please. All right, folks. I’m going to take a second to just get up and walk around. I think uh that might be good for me. So, I’m going to do that. All right. I’ll be back. Hey JJ, you still with us? My apologies again. I’m a little bit absent- minded right now. I should have given you a proper plug. Folks, Playbyplay with JJ. Please do check out his channel. Uh he covers Philadelphia Sports. We won’t hold it against him. There are brotherly neighbors to the north. Unless we’re playing them head-to-head, we got no reason to beef with the Phillies, do we? I mean, we beat them in 83. It’s the last time we felt glory. It’s the last pennant in World Series. So, help out JJ, folks, and uh subscribe to his channel. He calls a good game, not just baseball. Oh, now there is the Baltimore crowd I’m talking about. Hawaiian shirts, beards. All right, Colton Cowser, folks. Can we rally? [Music] First pitch. You call that a strike? Ah, blue. That was inside. Maybe even high. 0 and one on Cowser. foul back. 0 and2 on the milkman. [Music] Uh, I know you don’t care, JJ. You don’t need my help. you’re kicking a lot of butt, but uh you know, all’s fair and I want to, you know, I want to anytime somebody comes over and hangs out from another channel, I want to shout you out. Uh the catcher Ramirez is out to talk to junk. It’s an 02 count right now. Just 52 pitches for Junk at this stage. He’s only made a handful of starts. He’s made more appearances in relief. I don’t think he’s a guy that’s going to throw more than about 75 pitches. That ball bounces and it hits Cowser on the foot, I guess. And we’ve got ourselves a leadoff man on with a hit batter. Yep. Right on the tip of the front foot. Cowser probably barely felt it and now gets first base. The leadoff man is on. Folks, let’s do something with this. Tyler O’Neal coming up. Ohoy there. Anybody home? Cowser’s already got a stolen base in this one. And a snap throw by Junk. He checks on him. Cowser’s back in time. The pitch to O’Neal. A big swing and a miss. Come on, O’Neal. You need to give us uh something to make us feel good about you, my friend. This pitch is high. One ball, one strike. Come on, buddy. We need some offense. You’re due to do something. Popped up on the right side. Shallow right field. Sters makes the catch. O’Neal is retired. One away. The Birdland value menu, folks. 11 items priced at $5 or less. They include, popcorn, a soda, a hot dog, and something else that I can’t recognize. Here’s said Mullins. Check on cowser. He is back. If you do want to subscribe guys, you should honestly check out my new red zone version of baseball. There you go. Diamond zone all day coverage of baseball all around the league, folks. That pitch to Mullins had the plate, but it’s a little bit low. Come on, Said. Well, JJ went from I’m just here to hang out to a giant plug with a link. An amazing turnaround. Uh that ball is fouled at the plate. One and one on Mullins. Just teasing you JJ. You see you got your you got your peeps right there already talking about it. Matt has checked it out. 101 the count on Mullins popped up down the right field line is going to drift into the crowd. Cowser was off with that pitch. He’ll return to first. We are scoreless folks in the bottom of the fifth. The Orioles are trying to stay hot and get themselves as close to 500 as they can before the All-Star break, which comes after tomorrow’s game. The one two again to Mullins is up and away just a little bit. It’s two and two. How about a bugle? [Music] There goes Cowser. The swung on hit to right field by Mullins. Backing up, but there to make the catch is Sters. And Cowser’s got to hurry up and get back. The play at first. Cowser’s safe. It is very close. If Sters throws the ball accurately right to first base, Cowser is out. But luckily a little bit off line. The first baseman had to scramble back to beat Cowser to the base. But Cowser just got back safely. Luckily, this inning will continue. All right, Jacob Stallings is at the plate with two down and he goes after the first pitch. It’s a routine grounder to short, a flip to second for the force and that’ll do it. Five innings with no runs against Jansen Junk. Come on offense, we got to get going. We’ve had three hits. They all came from three consecutive batters. The problem is the middle hit made the first hit get thrown out at the plate and then hit number three led off the next inning and that led to nothing. Otherwise, that’s it. Come on offense, we got to wake up. Rogers is dealing for us and you know we got to win this game. We got to figure out junk, folks. We got to open up that junk drawer. You know what I mean? All right. I don’t even have I don’t even have the ability to be humorous. It’s just Can you tell? I mean, can you honestly tell that something’s a little bit off? Can we just all be honest? BW seems a little bit off today. I don’t want to be. Damn it. I don’t know what’s going on, folks. What do you What do you What do you guys got going on? Are you ready for the uh draft tomorrow night? And if you weren’t around uh or didn’t see the community post, I decided uh why not? Let’s go ahead and uh cover the first uh day of the draft. Sunday night, starting at 6:00 p. p.m. Eastern. We’ve got four picks in the top 40. number 19, number 30, number 31, and number 37. So, we’re going to hang out there and watch four new Orioles get drafted and take a closer look at those guys. Hopefully, we’ll get a pitcher in there. A little discombobulated. Yep. Little bit. Little bit. Yeah. I I know. I know. And that’s why I don’t want to bring it up. But like again, my brain is such pudding right now and my inability to, you know, not just tell it like it is. Like I can’t resist. Here’s a ground ball in the first pitch. Edwards will ground out to shortstop. Henderson making the play. There’s one away. Nice quick first out here in the sixth for Rogers. All right, Augustine Ramirez at the plate. He takes outside. Look at that line for Rogers. Swing and a miss. The count is a one-on-one. Five in the third innings, just the one hit. Seven strikeouts and a couple of walks. Swing and a miss again. The count is one and two. Rogers’s erra right now at this very moment, it’s going to be even lower than it is right now if he gets this out, is 1.32. Hit on the ground and Gunner will have another play at short. Low throw, but O’Harn handles it. Two away. All right, let’s bring it down to a 1. Let’s see. It’s going to change here in a sec. Make it a 1.31 ERA. Now, by the way, folks, uh, what’s this guy’s name? Uh, Jacob, uh, Jacob Mis MSC. What is it? Ma M what’s what’s this Brewer pitcher’s last name that I can’t get right. He’s going to the All-Star game. He’s made five starts. So is Rogers. And if you look at his numbers, if that dude’s getting in, why isn’t Rogers? He’s got a 131 erra right now. Uh here’s Hernandez. He takes ball one. Two down, nobody on in the top of the sixth. Misarowski. That’s right. Jacob Miserowski. Thanks. I’ I’ve only seen him pitch briefly, but I can see that uh he’s definitely got some pretty electric stuff, but uh to be named an all-star after five starts when your boy Sanchez got uh snubbed. JJ, if anybody should have a problem with Miserowski in the uh game, should be you. Two and one on Hernandez. Swing and a miss. Two and two. I mean, Sanchez has put up an amazing stat line. And that’s a full complement of starts. Two- two pitch upstairs. Full count. Payoff pitch. Swung on and missed the change up. Hernandez out in front of it. Well, y’all come back now. Are you here? Trevor Rogers. Six shutout innings. Can we please give this guy any amount of run support? We’ve got the top of the order due up in the bottom of the sixth, which means we’ve only had three base runners over the minimum. We have got to get this offense going. Come on. Oh, that’s beyond a quality start. That is a chef’s kiss start. That’s right. That belongs on the cover of a magazine right there. We are scoreless going in the bottom of the six. Folks, thanks for hanging out with me. I won’t talk about it anymore, but uh yeah, thanks for hanging out with me. Oh my god. It’s It’s The only reason I brought it up is because I don’t know what else to talk about because my brain can’t process. Like I’m in autopilot mode calling the game and then when I get a second to like address the chat and think of just, you know, some regular conversation, I can’t even think of it. I I’m not myself. But I’m okay. It’s fine. I’ll be all right. I am not fine, but I will be. That’s a That’s a That’s a call back just for JJ. All right, folks. All right. That’s the idea. When the Nats or when the O’s win. Ah, my bad, JJ. My bad, boss. I’m sorry, boss. All right, here we go. Bottom of the uh sixth. Holiday first pitch swinging fouls it away. All right, folks. Come on. We have been patient and the bird watchers here right now have been extra patient with me. They deserve some some offense right now. [Music] 01 pitch to Holiday. Swinging a miss. It is a pitching duel between Trevor Rogers and Jansen Junk. That pitch is high to Holiday. One ball, two strikes. Ben McDonald and Kevin Brown are sporting the Yacht Caps given out a few games ago. Off the plate, two and two. The count to Holiday. Leading off the bottom of the sixth, we are scoreless. Really, Jose Holiday strikes out one down. Well, Jose, you had a chance to hang out here and be a part of things, but uh you’re clearly here just to antagonize my chat, and uh I ain’t having it on my watch. So, take it easy. It was nice knowing you, though. Have a good rest of your weekend. [Music] I’m going to have to refresh the game here, folks. Standby. Jordan Westber at the plate. First pitch is a strike. Come on, Westy. West is that way. Low and away. One ball and one strike. Here’s a ground ball up the middle. The second baseman has it and Westber is retired. Two away. 70 pitches for junk. My goodness. Two down in the six. Can we please just one just just one like hit the just barrel it up one time please? Come on Gunnar. His name’s Gunner and he’s dating my mom. First pitch to Gunner. Is that called a strike? That’s inside. Gunner takes a look at the ump twice after that call. Folks, we’ve had enough of this ump. Grab him. Get the bee bag. Hold him down. Hold him down. Not the beast. Not the beast. My eyes. My eyes. [Music] Yeah, it was it was a pretty strange flex for a Nats fan to come in and start flexing. A little bit weird. One and one. The count on Gunner. That one’s hit to the opposite field. Will it drop? It’s a diving catch attempt, but it’ll get down. And Gunner is going to be able to get to second base. Second double of the afternoon for Gunner. This one with two down. It’ll give us a chance to get this first run in if we can get O’Harn to knock him in with a hit. Come on now, folks. It’s O’Harn time. Flights on. It’s turn and burn. A double by Gunner. That ball was in the glove of the left fielder. He tried to secure it. He even had his throwing hand covering the glove, but it still trickled out. Ryan O’Harn at the plate, folks. Let’s go. First pitch hit in the air to center. That ball is going to be caught on the run and the inning is over. My goodness. That was quick. Six complete innings are in the books. That’s Wow. We go to the seventh. Still nothing. Nothing. Charm City chat. All right. We’re going to take a second to uh address a little bit of uh you know what do you call it? Uh you know uh housekeeping. We got to do a little bit of housekeeping folks. We are 12 likes away from hitting a hundred and we’ve got more than twice as many people watching than have hit the like button. So more people to hit it than have already done it. So, I know I’m not uh you know uh wasting my breath in asking this. Uh please hit the like button. It’s at the bottom of your screen. Thumbs up. Tap it. You’re good to go. Helps out the channel, folks. In several different ways. You might not think it does, but it does. Ain’t that right, JJ? JJ will tell you he’s got a channel. All right. Just five away from 100. Look at that. Look at that number climb. You could subscribe, too. That’s right. I forgot about that. Hey, subscribe. Uh, the next person to do it will make that sub count jump to 3030. We’re on 3029 right now. I’m looking at the live count. My little app on the screen here. Only updates every 10 subs. One more subscriber to 3030, folks. Oh my. And we’ve got an Orio fan jamming out in the crowd here in a sports bra. Looks comfortable. All right, Rogers is out here to begin the seventh inning. Otto Lopez at the plate. First pitch is a ball outside and the next pitch is also off the plate outside. It’s 2 and 0. Unfortunately, Patrick, not Melanie. Two- pitch. There’s a strike on the inside edge. Lopez is 0 for one. He is also uh walked back in the first inning. Foul ball. The count even up at two and two. And my game just froze. What now? Oh boy. Frozen game on a two two count. What happened? That ball is a Okay, good. We got a fly ball out to right field. And that is the first out of the inning in the seventh for Rogers. Okay. Was that left field or right field? Getting the game back up right now. Theoretically getting it up. Will it cooperate? Let’s see. Oh my goodness. So, now the touchpad is back to You know what? I have every reason to absolutely go bananas, but I’m going to be calm. I have to go off camera for a sec and fix the stream. I’ll be right back. You can follow the game if you don’t have it have it on uh with the uh scoreboard you’re looking at right there in front of you. Okay, I’ll be right back. Sorry about this, folks. It’s been one of those nights or days, whatever you want to call it. Be right back. Oh, folks, this has not been one of my easier calls. Uh, I am watching a spinning wheel and it is not opening yet. JJ, what are you doing over there, buddy? What are you doing? Message for you, son. And I want to thank you very much for that. I really do. Thank you, JJ, for the super chat. What are you doing, man? You shouldn’t be doing that. This money goes towards better internet. Well, I have to be honest. I can’t complain about how reliable that my internet is out here. I’ve done a lot of games. Only a handful of times has the internet done more than just stop something for a few seconds. But, uh, today it’s not just the internet. It’s the actual link to the game, the the site. Now it’s just a black screen. What are you doing? Come on. Don’t Don’t do this to me, please. I’m trying to call a ball game here. We’re really close to the All-Star break. Just trying to get over the hump here. Come on now. Thank you Rouseabout for uh keeping everybody informed. I appreciate it. Unbelievable. Just what next? Technical issue. Please refresh the page. What could you be a little more specific about a technical issue? What is going on with my stream? Technical issue. Okay, we’re going to the bullpen. Thank you for the update, everybody. I should subscribe to your channel. Can I follow you? How about I just sit here quietly? you guys type in everything and I follow uh the game from and that way I can and I’m not saying that like in a sarcastic way like I would really prefer that at this point. BW changes roles and becomes the viewer. You guys become the announcer, please. I uh I would love to trade places right now. How many times can I click on this? This is okay. Wow. Wow. Technical. So now it’s giving me the same message over and over. Technical issue. Please refresh. Reload the page, which I keep doing. And then I just get the same. How about you tell me what the issue is? How about that? All right. I’m going to try I’m going to have to do the the sneaky the sneaky thing. I don’t want to have to do this, but we’re trying to watch this ball game. I am going to go to a website that’ll probably put a virus on my computer. I don’t care. I got to get this ball game up. Let’s go here into the dark web and we’ll get this game up. I will not go gently into that. Good night. All right, there we go. Massen. That’s That’s Massen. Sounds good. I like Massen. And now what? What are you doing now? All right, I got the game on. Now I just need volume and we’re good. Okay. All right. I don’t know how far behind this stream is, but I am watching Kyle Sters at the plate with two down and a runner at first base. It’s a one-0 count on Sters. Sodto on the mound. The pitch is inside. Sters is going to be awarded first base. He got hit by a pitch. Where did he get hit? On the uniform. Did it scrape the the shirt? Didn’t seem like it really hit him. Hit him. Sters is on. Two on with two out. We’re in the top of the seventh. Scoreless between the Orioles and the Marlins. And I don’t know how far behind I am, but uh Derek Hill is at the plate. Don’t pause on me. Hill is 0 for two. He struck out both times today. And it looks like I’m going to be a couple of pitches behind. If that’s the case, folks, try to adjust if you’re watching along with me. And uh we might have to go off on the other screen here to avoid spoilers. First pitch to Hill is fouled away. Strike one. Messaging what? Oh. Oh, JJ. Yeah. Uh, this will work for now, I think, JJ, but as a backup, it’s always nice to have something else. 01 pitches outside. One and one on Hill. Why don’t we hang out over here for a little bit? We’re going to hang out right here for a little bit, folks. the 1-1 pitch hit on the ground and into left field. A base hit coming around to score and we’ve got uh the trail runner Sters caught between second and third. We’re going to get the final out there, but Meyers comes in to score and the Marlins have taken a one- nothing lead in the top of the seventh. The inning is now over. Wow, some really cowardly person is hitting the smile emoji without saying anything. Yeah, you can keep tapping it. Go ahead. That’s pretty sad. Have you been waiting this long to watch a one- nothing Marlin lead? Congratulations. All right, we go to the bottom of the seventh, folks. While this Dum Dum plays with those emojis, we’re going to have fun with our own tradition. It’s time to throw some cakes on the griddle. Get them cakes up in the chat, folks. Thank God I’m a country boy. Thank god I’m a country boy. Thank god I’m a country boy. Thank God. Tom wonders why we did not let Rogers complete the inning. I don’t know how many pitches was he on. Obviously, I was distracted there for about a solid 15 minutes. He was on 99 pitches, but I mean, one more one more out to goo. We couldn’t get that. One more out to goo with Rogers. Yeah, I I feel you. I feel you. I feel you. Yep. Yeah. We got Man, come on. This is not We can’t let this game go like We have to We have to get it going here. I mean, nobody deserves for us to win this game more than everybody watching along with me, considering how my stream has gone today. You guys have been waiting patiently for me to get my act together and for the offense to do something. Raone Lauraniano will lead off the bottom of the seventh, folks. Jansen Junk is still on the mound. First pitch hit on the ground. Third base. Throw over to first is in time. A one pitch out in the seventh. This would be another case of a game where we’re facing an opposing pitcher who is putting up their best performance of the season against us. Every time this happens, it’s it just withers away a little bit of my soul. Come on, Cowser. Cowser’s at the plate with one down. [Music] We have got to get going here. Cowser’s 0 for one. He was hit by a pitch. Stole a base earlier. That one’s a check swing and he went. Proud is booing heavily. Manelino, you want to chirp ever? Do you ever want to chirp at anything? That is so not a swing. Holy cow. That is That is so bad. That is not a swing. Oh my god. That is so not a swing. Called strike two to Cowser. All right. You want a BW to lock in? You got him. I’m locked in. Screw you. Let’s go. That was some BS. One-two pitch. Line drive. Base hit into center field. Cowser says, “I don’t care. I’m on first.” We’ve got ourselves a tying run at first base with one out. [Music] Come on. [Music] Tyler O’Neal is due up next. He’s 0 for two. We need him to get that bat going. First pitch. There goes Cowser. And the catcher drops the ball on the transfer. Cowser steals his second base of the afternoon and the entire ballpark goes moo folks. [Music] The fastest boine on the planet, Colton Cowser. Want to know the count on O’Neal? Junk turns around and looks Cowser back to second. The crowd groans. Cowser is caked in dirt. The 10 pitch low and away. Two and0 on O’Neal. Whoops. Where is the bugle? [Music] Two and0 on O’Neal. The pitch. There’s a called strike. A slider from Junk. tying run at second base with one out. Orioles trying to get on the board for the first time today. O’Neal pops it up. Get out of play. It’s down the right field line and it’s up against the screen. Count will or atbat will continue with a 2-2 count. A 22 to O’Neal. Cows are dancing off second base. The pitch. O’Neal pops it up left side behind third base along the foul line. The shorts stop. Lopez makes the catch and this inning is over. Seven shutout innings thrown by Jansen Junk. Oh, I’m sorry. That’s two outs. Oh my god, that’s only the second out. I got fooled by this scoreboard. And the coward continues to have fun in the chat. Yeah. How about you talk to me, bud? I’ll put you in your place. Said Mullins is up with two down. He hits one high in the air, but it’s not deep. Going to be caught out there in right field. And that will end the inning. The Orioles leave the tying run on base. Cowser stranded at second. We’re going to the eighth inning, down one to nothing. Yeah, it could be. That sounds about right. Oh, I never did finish that. Great conversation. I basically said, “Thank you for teaching me everything about baseball. I was lost, but now I get it.” He writes back, “No problem.” And like I told you, it only took one AB swinging at a three-0 count to leave a runner in scoring position. I’m one for one. Next, if given the opportunity will be a double play. If we had a real manager, he would be bench swinging 3 and 0, hitting 187. Gamechanging moment. Oh, this was an hour ago. Oh, wait. This was Did he actually come back to this after O’Neal had come up to hit in the game? Are you serious? Oh my. This guy is Wow. Folks, have a chat with somebody on Twitter. They’ll they’ll never want to stop talking to you. You’re their new best friend. You want to make an easy best friend, folks? Just start a conversation on Twitter. All right, top of the eighth coming up. Jansen Junk is getting high fives in the Marlin dugout as if his day is over. And I’m fine with that. We couldn’t figure him out. Sir Anthony Dominguez is on the pitch for Baltimore. And the first pitch he throws to Senoa is a strike on the outside corner at the knees. Dominguez making his 39th appearance. A 313 erra. Called a strike on the inside edge. It’s 0 and2. Dominguez has only given up one run in his last 18 appearances. This ball’s lifted out to left field. Cowser is there though. Right to him. Makes the catch. One down in the eighth. We cannot lose a one- nothing ball game, man. We got to score. Come on. Here’s Xavier Edwards. The lineup flips over. Edwards is 0 for three. I’ve got a frozen game again. Frozen out again, folks. Worst. Yeah, dude. Again. Hey, coward. Why don’t you identify yourself? You’re too scared to You’re too scared to identify yourself. What’s the problem, buddy? You’re worried that people will know that you’re a jerk. Come on. Come on out of hiding and say hello. Come on, bud. Are you going to keep tapping emojis like you’re three years old? You going to talk? Uh, the Marlins have a runner at second base with one out. What happened there? We got a double. Ramirez takes outside for ball one. Runner at second with one out for the Marlins. Double up the scoreboard. Thanks, George. Foul ball from Ramirez makes the count even at one ball, one strike. That ball’s hitting the left, but Cowser is going to make a a play and throw to second quickly to try to get the runner off the base. Throws just a little bit late. Nice idea by Cowser. That ball was absolutely smoked off the bat. 114.5. So Cowser caught a missile out there and then threw one to second. Was a pretty close play over there. Wow, that ball was absolutely obliterated. We were lucky there. How did we make an out of that play? out of that swing, I should say. Uh, Jesus Sanchez is gonna pinch hit it looks like or Hernandez. Hernandez was 0 for three, struck out all three times. Left-hander Sanchez going to come up now. And JJ, I might have to take you up on your offer, man, because this thing just froze again. again. I’m actually going to try my original uh Oh, now it’s back on. Okay, Sanchez takes ball one. That ball got away from Stallings. It bounced off of the back stop and came right back to him. A play at third, but it’s late. The runner advances to third on a wild pitch. It should never have been a play at all. That ball very wild, but we got a nice bounce off the back stop. Almost had a play over there. Two down with a runner at third. A two- count on Sanchez. Check swing. Looks like he went. Homeplayed umpire said he did. No need to appeal it. That’s two and one. Oh boy. Base hit into right center field. The Marlins have just doubled their lead on a two out single to right center by the pinch hitter Jesus Sanchez. It’s two nothing Miami. Both teams now with five hits. The Orioles down by two in the eighth. Michael, if you think I’m going to take that bait, you got to be the stupidest person around. Like, when I saw you write it once, I already knew that you were up to something. And now you write it twice. How desperate are you, bud? Take it easy. All right, here is Otto Lopez. Folks, I’ll get frustrated if my internet is having an issue. If if you’re a jerk off in my chat, I I don’t really like it’s not going to phase me. I mean, I’ll I’ll address it. I’ll acknowledge it. It depends. Some Some stuff’s worth acknowledging just for the laugh. Some stuff’s worth ignoring. But, uh, yeah, it’s not really going to stop me from doing this. So, feel free to keep on trying. Uh, we’ve got a break here. I’m looking at a commercial. We’re going to the bottom of the eighth. Okay. The Orioles are down two and it’s going to be O’Neal, Mullins, and Stallings. Bottom of the order coming up. No, that’s not right. No, make that Stallings Holiday in Westber. Stallings Holiday in Westber coming up next. The Marlins are going to go to the bench to replace their catcher. Ramirez, who hit that ball extremely hard out to Cowser and left, has come out of the ball game for Nick Forez. So that might be a injury situation for Ramirez. You’d have to think. Ramirez was 0 for four on the day, but he hit the crap out of that ball last time up. The bat actually broke, I think. And he might have injured himself on the swing. Meanwhile, who’s who’s pitching? The right-hander Henriquez. Ronnie Henriquez is on in relief of Jansen Junk. He’s made 41 appearances. His erra is 2.66. Opponents hitting just 209 off of him. And the Orioles are going to counter with a move of their own. Jacob Stallings will be lifted for a pinch hitter. It’s going to be Raone Aras. Stallings will be replaced by Alex Jackson behind the plate in the ninth. Aras has a chance to hit for Stallings here. First pitch to Raone is in there for a strike. I have a brother. According to Kevin Brown, Forez coming in to catch is simply a defensive substitution. There is no problem with Ramirez. Aras pops it straight up and in foul ground near the plate. The catcher Forez just in the ball game makes the catch. The Orioles are running out of outs. One out in the eighth. Now down by two. Still looking for their first run of the day. Holiday is up. He is 0 for three. Pitch is swung on and that one gets through into the right side for a base hit. Holiday is aboard with one out. All right, top of the order. Holiday is on. Tying run coming up in the form of Jordan Westber, folks. Westber, how many clutch hits did he have last season? He had a lot. Well, West is that way. We need one right here. Well, West is that way. Come on. Westber’s 0 for three. The first pitch popped up and that one’s going back to center, but not very deep at all. It’s going to be caught out there. It’s the second out here in the eighth. Gunnar Henderson. We are running out of outs, folks. His name’s Gunnar and he’s dating my mom. Henderson’s got a pair of hits on the day. Both doubles. Holiday on at first base. And are you kidding me? Well, I can’t see it happen, folks, but it looks like Gunner is going to pop out in foul ground in left field to win the inning. We are through eight innings. The Orioles have yet to score. It’s two nothing Marlins. Not my best night. We’re going to the ninth inning, folks. We’re down two. I appreciate it, JJ. It’s just so close toward the end here. I was hoping to not have to do that, but uh it may come down to that. I tell you what, it’s just it’s it’s just incredible how something going with my channel seems to reflect with the team, whether it’s positive or negative. It’s just amazing how similar uh the two uh things are. It’s just I’ve got so I’ve got another example today. All right. All right. The game is on. We are in the ninth. Scott Buourett is on the pitch. 26th appearance of the season. He’s pitched with us. He’s pitched with the Braves. He’s pitched with the Twins. Wagamman is at the plate. He’s 0 for three. First pitch is a fast ball high for ball one. We’re in the ninth inning. Two nothing Marlins. 10 pitch is low count even or count now two and 0 man is are pathetic. How can anyone argue with that folks? I mean that’s poetry. There’s a called strike. Two and one the count on Wagaman. Austin Jackson is now doing the catching behind uh well obviously behind the plate. Where else would he be doing the catching? That was redundant. Jackson replaces Stallings behind the plate. All right, we just got the first out. My my my stream’s jumping around. Eric Wagaman just grounded out the third base for the first out here in the top of the ninth. Dane Meyers, who scored the first run for the Marlins in the seventh inning, is up now with one out, nobody on. He’s two for three. First pitch strike to Meyers and this ball is going to be hit out toward right field and Lauriano is going to make the catch. for the second out. Oh, no, he’s not. Yeah, he is. Okay, so here comes Kyle Sters. Two down. Sters coming up and that ball’s hitting center field. That’s down for a base hit. A two out single for Sters. Derek Hill comes up now. He’s one for three. There goes Sters. The throw down. What happened there? Sters goes in standing. Holiday can’t handle the throw. If he’d had, we might have had a play on him. It’s a stolen base for Sters. His fourth of the season. So now a base hit would drive in a run for the Marlins. 01 pitch to Hill is swung on and hit toward Gunner. He makes a nice stop, but he don’t he won’t have a play. May maybe he does. They’re coming home and we can’t hold on to the ball. Unbelievable. Oh, folks, this play just sums up the day. Unbelievable. The Marlins Kyle Sters comes back to haunt us. He broke for the plate on a ground ball rounding all the way from second base. Gunner had him dead to rights. He throws home, but Jackson can’t handle the throw. It’s a little bit wide. He had plenty of time though to recover had he held on to the ball, but he dropped it. Sters scores. It’s three nothing Marlins. I just want to say to the person hitting that emoji button over and over again that um I’m just I’m just happy I’m not you. That’s that’s pretty much what it comes down to. I’m happy knowing that I don’t spend my time trying to make other people feel miserable. I’m glad I’m not you. This ball’s down the left field line and that’s a base hit. It’s going to make it four nothing Marlins. But you have that legacy. you know, whenever uh you know, your time is up, there’ll be a nice tombstone that says, “Here lies this guy spent his life bugging people on the internet. You should be proud.” That’s something to admire. That’s a legacy, you know. I mean, we sit around here watching the Orioles. We talk about Brooks. We talk about Earl. talk about all the legends, but you know, I mean, they can’t hold a candle to you and and the legacy you’re leaving behind, can they? It’s getting even funnier, isn’t it? The more I address you, the more you want to hit that button. It’s It’s giving you that adrenaline rush, isn’t it? How do you feel? Is that smile getting wider on your face right now? Have you hit the jackpot? Is this the peak of your existence? It’s a little bit sad. Xavier Edwards just went deep and it’s 6 nothing Fish. Well, this might be a game you don’t want to remember. 6 nothing Marlins. They just doubled the score. Or no, they didn’t. Well, well, yeah, they did. Ouch, folks. It’s 6 nothing. Well, isn’t this special? We’re going to the bottom of the ninth. The inning is over. And uh yeah, it’s been a rough night. Been a rough night. Let me take a look at this. There’s 131 people still here for a game that we’re losing 6 nothing going into the bottom of the ninth. I would say that uh you know that’s pretty impressive. I’m sure there’s a lot of people at the ballpark right now that are making their way home after that inning. We are down six. Nothing’s impossible, but uh this is looking pretty bad right now. Oh, thanks Miss Janet. Folks, hopefully tomorrow will be better. And I mean that in every possible way. The performance from our team and the performance from me. We both have some work to do before the final game before the All-Star break. All right, we’re basically going to have to bat around here in the ninth to have a shot at this three-run homer there for the Marlins there. Fitzy, how you doing? A three-run home run. Yes. from Xavier Edwards. Anthony Bender is on the pitch for the Marlins. We are down six runs. Bender is making his 40th appearance on the season. His erra is very impressive. 2.11 and his whip is just 1.04. Opponents hitting only 175 off this guy. Ryan O’Harn will lead things off. First pitch is off the plate for ball one. We need base runners, base runners, and more base runners. Sam with a super chat. Thank you, Sam. Message for you, son. Oh, Hearn’s showing bunt for some reason. Brings the bat back. It’s 2 and 0. Sam says for Brusswi the house. It’s on the house. Thank you, Sam. I might need something harder. But out here for two bucks, I can get a I can get some whiskey and a couple of cubes of ice. That might be more my speed. I appreciate it, Sam. Thanks a lot. And I want to thank you very much for that. I really do. It’s 3 and0 in O’Harn. And this pitch he’s taking all the way. It’s a strike. O’Harn understands the situation. We need base runners. That’s outside. All right. A walk. A leadoff walk. Maybe Bender doesn’t have it. It’s usually a red flag. And when a reliever comes in with a lead like this and issues a first batter walk, let’s hope that Bender is a wild. He’s got to face at least two more B uh two more batters. Raone Lauraniano up right now. He looks at a first pitch strike. Massen team pointing out. Oh, Lauriano going to right field, but it’s right at Sters. Lauraniano hit it well, but not to the right place. There’s one away in the ninth. I don’t know if that would define comfortably, but okay. I think you’re 100% correct. As long as you took the word comfortably away, it would be accurate. Folks, maybe the last chance for the milkman today. [Music] One the count on Cowser. Swing and a miss. Makes it one and two. That ball’s fouled at the plate off of Cowser. He definitely felt that one. He’s going to walk it off. Cowser looks like he’s been through hell today. He is covered front and back, top to bottom in dirt. You look at him and you think that this team’s done a lot today cuz he plays the outfield. Where’s all that dirt from? Well, he did steal a couple of bases in this game, but we don’t have a run on the board. One, two, pitch outside. Two and two. There’s no such thing as a good game to miss. Not for the bird watcher. Full count on Cowser. How you doing, Chillo? Payoff pitch coming way. Oh my god, I can’t believe Cows are swung at that. I’m saying the word way out. I’m go I’m about to say way outside. I’m starting to say it as I see this ball come out of the pitcher’s hand. And Cowser for some reason swung at that pitch. There’s two down. Unbelievable. A really late reaction to a pitch very far off the plate. There’s two down. Here’s Tyler O’Neal. That ball he had to get out of the way of inside. One and0. Folks, uh it looks like we are not going to walk away from this one today feeling happy at all. But uh if we are to lose this, we still have a series to win tomorrow on the line. That is a called strike one and one on O’Neal. It’ll be Brandon Young on the mound tomorrow against uh Yuri Perez. O’Neal hits a fly ball to left. That looks like it’s going to do it. And the Marlins have shut us out. We have been Jansenjunked to a six nothing loss to the Marlins after having won six out of our last seven ball games and feeling pretty damn good about this matchup today. It went it went pear-shaped, folks. It I mean I can’t wait to turn this broadcast off. Let me go ahead and do that first. Shut that down. That was a giant pain in my butt today. Uh, hey, hey, emoji guy, could you maybe just, you know, congratulations. You got to spend a couple of hours hitting a [ __ ] button over and over again. Could you maybe just allow me to do the wrap-up? We lost. Okay, congratulations. What an [ __ ] I mean, congratulations. I mean, I get it. You’re an internet jerk off. You You thrive on it. You got it. If I can figure out a way to make sure that you’re not allowed on this channel again, you’re damn well sure I’m going to figure out how to do it. But the fact that you’re too much of a coward to show yourself tells me everything I need to know about you. You’re just an absolute waste. The Marlins win this one six to nothing. The Orioles go back to eight games under 500. Is that where we’re at? Game number 94. We’re 43 and 51. And yeah, we are six games out of a wild card spot after this. Currently, there’s still more baseball going on today. But, uh, in terms of wrapping this one up, folks, what what do you want to know? It was just really a a tough ball game to sit through when you can’t do anything at the plate. Gunner Henderson had a couple of doubles in this one, but they didn’t produce anything. Cowser got on base twice and stole two bases for the first time in his career. Nothing went on there. Couple of hits scattered around. Holiday with one, Lauriano with one, but that’s it. Stallings went hitless. Aras pinch hitting for him. Hitless. Mullins 0 for three. O’Neal 0 for four. Westber 0 for4. Meanwhile, Trevor Rogers had another great outing. Uh but uh he only gives up the one earned run and has to take the loss. Six and two/3 innings. He uh he he he’s really been great. just two hits and two walks, eight strikeouts. Gregory Sodto gave up a hit. Uh that was the inherited runner, I believe, right to allow that run to come in on Rogers. Sir Anthony Dominguez gave up a run in his inning of work on two hits. And then Scott Bluette, four hits, four earned runs in his inning of work. Well, folks, I can tell you this much. We sent uh Grant Wolfro, a left-hander who pitched two good innings from us out of the pin uh following that double header that he pitched basically because he was the 27th man, an extra call up for the double header. We sent him back down probably because we don’t waste an option in doing that and we just used him for two innings. So, he wouldn’t have been available for at least a game, maybe two. But at this stage, Bluet uh I mean that that was a bad outing. He got knocked around. Four hits, four earned runs in his inning of work. His erra is about five and a half now. And we’ve got enough right-handers in the bullpen. Uh for my money, I think it’s a good time to uh make a switch and call Wolfram back up. If not for blew it, maybe Corbin Martin or um who’s the other guy? Colin Selby. Between those three guys, I got to I think we got to make space for another left-hander in here until Keegan Aken gets back. That’s not going to be for probably another week after the All-Star break. Uh after play resumes after the All-Star break, another additional week. So, we’re going to want to get somebody up here. Uh, so Allison, has it been you this entire time? Are you just a huge Orioles fan that loves to celebrate a six nothing loss? Oh my folks. Message pinned. Did I just do something? I think I just accidentally pinned a message. It’s been one of those nights, folks. Uh, if you’ve been sitting through this entire ball game with me, I got to tell you something. You’re you’re you’re amazing. You let me know that uh this channel when everything’s going okay is a good one because you tolerated not a very good one today. The game wasn’t good. uh the technical issues made it uh difficult and then I already told you what how I was doing. So you add that all up folks, this is probably it’s not the worst loss of the season in terms of the toughest one to swallow, I’d say. But man, just that momentum really got ground to a halt against Jansen Junk. Come on. Let me look at Jansen Junk for a second. I just have to confirm. Is this yet another case of a pitcher who isn’t exactly a household name? pretty average guy just deciding we’re the team that he’s going to have his best performance of the season against. Again, because that has happened so often, it really is a question of I mean, isn’t that kind of an indictment on our offense and our our team hitting philosophy? How are we not able to solve some of these guys and allow them to go out there and shut us down like that? He’s been good over nine games. He’s been good. Okay. Has he ever pitched uh that many innings, that many shutout innings at once? I doubt it. I’ll try to find another score line. Let’s see. How many innings did he go today? I guess I see some six innings. He went seven innings. I’m trying to find another game where he went seven innings shutting somebody down and I don’t see it. So yeah, I’ll go ahead and Yep. Here’s the entire season in front of me. He’s never gone more than six until today. And he didn’t give up a run. So by definition, it’s his best outing period against us. And that’s uh something we’ve done too many times this season. What can you say? We got shut out. It was ugly. And uh there’s not much more I want to say about it. I want to just just throw this one away in terms of analysis and you know, you know, letting this game linger and thinking about it anymore. Look, I mean, we’ve got a hard we got a hard uh journey here. A pretty tough uh spot here. I can’t even put it into words. I’m so I’m so exhausted. And I’m again, I’m not I got to just sign off because I’m not here to I’m not I’m not trying to sound like I’m complaining. I’m not complaining. I’m just very tired. I feel responsible for this. I really do. I feel responsible somehow for what happened on that field today. Something wasn’t right inside of me. And uh I feel like every time that’s happened, I watch I sit and I watch a game that looks like this. Again, call me delusional, call me what you will, but damn it all if I don’t have a lot of examples of this. Oh boy. All right. Tomorrow will be the finale of this series, and the uh stream here will start at 1:20 p.m. Eastern. Brandon Young against Yuri Perez. Come on out and let’s see if Brandon Young can uh match the performance he put up last time out. Five really good innings. Unfortunately, he came out in the sixth and didn’t have anything left, but uh we saw five really fine innings out of the guy, including an immaculate inning. An immaculate inning, folks. That’s not a fluke. If you can pitch an immaculate inning, you’ve got something to you. So, there is something to Brandon Young. And I hope we get a chance to see it tomorrow. Right. Uh, the sub count went totally blank. There’s another weird 30. There it is. Okay. Sleep well. Thanks. Thanks, guys. Uh again, my apologies for both uh the ball game and for the the the channel today. It has not been the best, but the more I talk about it, the more it’s just making it worse, right? So, let me make like a tree and get out of here. All right, come on back tomorrow. I got a feeling everything is going to be better. It’s going to be a better ball game. It’s going to be a better BW. And uh thanks for allowing me this uh mulligan. All right. Is this a mulligan? Can we in introduce mulligans to baseball? Are we allowed to just erase a game? Just one. Can we do that? That would be nice. That’s uh going to do it for me. Let me take a look around and see if there’s some place I can send you. Maybe this jerkoff in the uh sitting here pleasuring himself with emojis can uh jerk off somewhere else. Uh ah okay, we’ve got some uh Canadian football going on apparently. Let me let me confirm that by the way. Uh, dude, at this point, and I’m calling you dude, cuz there’s no chick in the world that would ever spend as much time doing what you’re doing. You do understand that, right? And there’s a direct correlation there. No woman would ever do what you’re doing. And in turn, you probably don’t get laid too much, do you? I got a feeling a personality like yours spends a lot of time fapping, blogging the old bishop, right? You you get uh you got a lot of work in there. I bet you do. Again, I mean, I’m worried because you could get carpal tunnel with all that button pressing you’ve been doing today and you’re not going to be able to get that good uh jack off in five minutes that you’re due. You got to get in four or five a day, right? All right. Which one of these is the vertical stream and which one is the normal stream? I’m going to have to go and and look closer here. Okay, we’re going to take you over to Rising Rhino, folks. Rising Rhino, friend of the channel. Say hello. He knows that I’m exhausted. We were having a long conversation just last night. It’s part of the reason. Oh, that is the vertical. Okay, I got this. There it is. Come on back tomorrow, folks. Uh BW will be here. Hope to see you here with me. Until then, this has been the bird watcher and I will chirp at you later. Thanks to the charm city chat, the mods for all your work. Uh we had a couple of super chats today as well. Thanks so much. Uh we got plenty of likes in. All those look nice, but uh really I trade it all away for an Orioles win. We didn’t get it today, folks. Let’s see what happens tomorrow. Have a good rest of your Saturday. Take care. So long.
