Absolute fucking clown shoes. I’m gonna go full conspiracy theory and say they need to move the replay booth out of New York. What a joke. MY BOY WAS SAFE AS CAN BE!!

Load of horse shit. I couldn’t hate the NY teams anymore than I already do.
My rant on twitter: The toothpaste is out of the tube with these bullshit stolen base challenges. The runner clearly beats the throw, but his body comes off the base by a millimeter on the slide (allegedly) and they’re out. Not the spirit of the rule.
I mean what the fuck is going on in New York.
Gotta start being more physical with other teams runners if this is what goes on.
The way that you’re never going to see this issue happen in another single game this year if it’s not against KC is what makes me the angriest I think.
As I just commented in another thread, this call and last night’s are probably supportable but the rule is a load of bullshit. If you want to challenge this, you should be allowed to challenge the initial tag and that’s it. Beyond that, leave it to the umpire. This happens all over the league and it sucks.
It has nothing really to do with NY, it’s the way they’ve written the rule and that’s what needs to change.
If the runner is safe on the initial tag he should be safe irregardless of whether or not he comes off the base while the fielder maintains his tag.
Screwed 2 days in a row by replay officials because it’s a New York team
What a disgrace. To hell with NY. How can you get it so wrong?
His pelvis arched as he slid in, causing the break in contact. That’s the only thing I could tell as the cause.
