Next time I see Mason Miller it better be going for the save next Friday vs the Giants.
Three errors is not ideal bois and girls. Difference between catchers behind the plate.
Ugh
Excited to read all the rationale takes about this random July loss for a first-place team playing their 18th game in 19 days.
We gave this one away. Could’ve easily won. Hopefully we can finish strong tomorrow
I lol’d at the cheater chants
we’re coming back down to earth, aren’t we fellas.
Congrats to Nathan Lukes for being a free out against a wild pitcher!
Springer better do something tomorrow. He’s been 🗑️this series.
We probably lose anyway, but giving an elite reliever a free out is always questionable especially when he is struggling for control.
Ernie needs to swing there. He was told that was a strike already moments before.
At the same time.. we were due this kind of loss. Win the series tomorrow.
Those three errors were massive
Try again tomorrow
It was nice to see some of the guys show serious emotion at missed bats or whatever…it shows they care and believe they can do big things
Well, at least da Jankees lost so we didn’t lose ground, but that’s tough.
Bleh, I guess they can’t go our way every time…let’s get em tomorrow and win another series before the break.
Hear that folks? We’ve won 11 of our last 13 series. We can make it 6 straight series wins tomorrow. Go Jays!
I mean, Tyler Heineman had the total opposite of a legacy game, Unc is 0-10 this series. Think there’s a lot of areas we can clean up going into tomorrow, I’m not so sure I agree with bunting with lukes there, let him swing away. Springs is a decent pitcher but we should be able to hit him..
Clean it up and onto tomorrow, this team is so desperately in need of the ASB, can see the long stretch of games we just had even with an off day is tough on the guys..
On the bright side, nothing changed in terms of first place from yesterday, Yanks lost today too..
yoiks.
a rough game all around. so many strike outs, and one or two sac-flys and they’re tied (or up)
I’m going to blame the heat, and they’re going to roast tomorrow.
one more until the all star break.
Ump did Ernie dirty, but it was the freebies that cost us this game.
Back at it tomorrow folks.
Boo. Loss. Bed.
What happened to the team that doesn’t strikeout this series
Swing the bat George
That felt like 2024. 😩
Quite frankly the last three games, minus one inning, have been awful. Huge April vibes out of them.
Feels like Miller wasn’t really locating at the start of the inning. Bunting and giving him a free out didn’t seem like a great idea. Why not let him throw strikes first?
LMAO imagine caring about the Sacramento AAA’s this much??
Hahahaha okay which one of y’all mods wanna get this for me? 🤣

all those strikeouts was reminiscent of last year, but unlike last year, when we lose it’s because we beat ourselves, and not because we were inept with barely a pulse. On to tomorrow to get the series win.
Felt like they struck out more in this game than in the last two weeks combined.
Vlad really needs to step up after the ASB. Just not good enough for someone of his calibre and now salary.
I hope every doomer in this thread carries this unfettered rage they feel about today’s loss into their restless sleep and wake up tomorrow confronting the fact that a baseball team has become such a strong precursor to their emotional health that their loved ones intervene and they stop watching or following the Jays, for their own wellbeing. And also so the game day threads stop being cesspools of such low quality posts, you have to scroll 3 kilometres before you see any kind of comment worth reading.
Where was the person that said in the game thread that a pitcher that throws 90 MPH and could locate was significantly better than a pitcher that throws 100 MPH and is wild? Pretty sure I’d rather have the guy that can throw gas.
With Mason Miller struggling to throw strikes, there was no need for Lukes to bunt in that situation. Could’ve had 1st & 2nd with 0 outs.
Facing a shitty team in a shitty park in shitty weather. Chaos ball gonna chaos ball
There are no valid complaints to be had about this series
Oof.
Errors were rough.
2 batters striking out instead of putting the ball into play with a man on 3rd in the 8th was awful.
Umpire was shit in the 9th.
But we still leading the division. Let’s get that series win tomorrow.
Barger shouldn’t have swung at that inside pitch. Can’t be bailing out Miller like that.
You get hot, you cool off.
Tis the nature of baseball.
A 4-2 road trip would be perfectly acceptable
Jays play clean baseball, they usually win.
They play like they did today, deserved to lose. Surprised they almost won, but I guess it’s because of the calibre of opponent. A playoff bound team would have destroyed them the way the played today.
Win tomorrow and win another series.
Nimmalla went two for four with 2 doubles and a walk tonight for Vancouver. Seems to be heating up again.
Johnny King had 7ks, 3 walks, 5 hits and 1ER in 4 innings for dunedin.
Not the best game. Let’s get’em tomorrow boys
Fuck the umps and fuck the league. Clear Yankee shills.
