Marlins vs. Orioles Game Highlights (7/12/25) | MLB Highlights
A little over a year ago today, Trevor Rogers was traded to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for kyle Stowers and Connor Norby. Norby and Stour made their debut at Camden yards yesterday in a visiting uniform. And today, Trevor Rogers will see his former team for the first time limited starts, but he has been exactly what the thought they were getting in that trade to be. It will be a little, a little strange and different facing my , my team that I was a part of for a long time. I’ve told myself a couple of times like nothing changes. I don’t have to prove anything to anybody. I just go out there and continue to execute pitches and do my job. This is a Marlins offense. They do not walk much but they do not strike out much ground ball right back over the mound. The shortstop Henderson ranging to his forehand, he’s got to throw a little bit low and it’s not dug out by o’hearn. It was a low throw and I think o’hearn thought this was going to bounce in the dirt. You watch how he tries to catch this instead of catching it. In the air. Maybe he’s striding a little bit further. He tries to get it on a short hop and it didn’t short hop. It hit him right in the glove pitch. And that fastball is strike three called strike three at the knees 96 miles an hour from Trevor Rogers. It’s his first strikeout of the game. Lopez takes and now a runner is in scoring position for Miami and eric Wman is stepping up to the plate. Rogers two K’s in his first inning against the Jansen jump for the Marlins 29 year old right hander who will make his 10th appearance and fifth start today. 3.12 A Monday in Cincinnati allowed one unearned run on one hit over six frames back to back six innings of quality starts for Jansen Jung pitch lined into the gap and left center field. This is down hill comes over to play it. Anderson turns first headed to second base. He is in there standing up the throw in on an opposite field double for Gunner Henderson Orioles. They struck for two in the first inning yesterday and are making a bid for another first inning run or runs today and it brings up Ryan O was a damage do last night. First inning RB I double, third inning RB I single. This is lined into right field for a base hit in front of kyle Henderson going to try to score coming in towards the plate. Welcome home. Kyle Stowers. Kyle Stowers throws out his former teammate and roommate Gunner Henderson. So here is Stowers facing the guy that he was traded for and he strikes out, he sweeps him away. Third strike out of the day already for Trevor Rogers about a well placed sweeper right there. That ball didn’t have much depth to it at all. It is all west to east swing and a miss put him away on high heat that was just rear back and let it rip. And Derek Hill is the latest strikeout victim for Rogers as he sets down the side in order in the 2nd 2nd stolen base for Colton. It creates a chance here for Cedric Mollin having a ground ball over the second routine for X nearly drops to a knee. He’s got it and he lost to first in time at the end of the inning. Jansen Junk strands the leadoff single no score. Rogers. He is a rebuilt pitcher this year. The velocity and the command are both strike three, Hernandez at the plate for the second time. Strikeout number four for Rodgers and make it eight straight retired by the port sider. I like the way he’s using both of his fastballs today. He’s been really good at spotting the sinker at the bottom part of the zone, did it right there, swing and a miss got him with a sweeper back to back punchouts for Rodgers here in the fourth. He is cruising right now. He has struck out six Marlins through 11 outs wagon in, busts his bat one hoffer to second. Won’t be a strikeout. 123. That’s 10 retired by Trevor Rogers is up. He’s one for one. Here’s the pitch, ground ball. Third base side handled by Sonos high but grabbed by Wagman who stays on the bag for the out and guess what? Another 123 for Mr Junk, that’s eight JD Myers to open the fifth one pitch. That one tagged into left field , peeling down the line that is in for a base hit a sight for sore eyes. First baserunner for the fish since a two out walk from Otto Lopez in the first in the first hit of the ball game, he’s going to throw will be off the backs. Myers went too far. He overs second base Henderson tags him out and while myers beat the play, he went too far and Rogers hands out his second walk of the ball game bringing Derek Hill of the Marlins up to the plate. Derek Hill has 52 strike fouls in a row delivering one souvenir after another very good at bat going on here, Hill will see an 11th 11th pitch and he hasn’t even made it to ball three. Finally, Rogers got it in the right spot. Hill was frozen and there is a season high seven strikeout. I’m telling you what he is just shoving fastballs for the right handers right hand on their hand. The second pitch of the inning popped up. Stallings mask out of hand ball. So the no hitter broken but the shutout intech to Eto hernandez who struck out looking on a low fastball and Then struck out looking on a low sinker. It’s the changeup turn and face the strange he has got that thing dancing folks and I’m telling you what it is dirty today. No runs three hits for the Orioles Jackson holiday. A two and two count. He got him. He took something off of the changeup over the inside part of the plate and he strikes out Holiday. Second time he has struck out Holiday and those are his only two strikeouts of the game in the left field is down. Myers couldn’t make the play and guard has a double, double team leading 20th of the year despite a tumbling try from D Myers, myers looked like he caught this ball man. But when he hit the ground, he spit it out and he came flying out of there. There’s a fly ball to left center hill will call off Myers and just like that, the inning is over. No damage done. The big story here is nothing on the board for either team. No runs one hit for the Marlins loud here at Oriole Park at Camden Yards Rogers looking for an exclamation point on his day. The 1 to 2 pitch is grounded through the left side. A base hit for Dane myers. He’s got his second hit of the day in just the second for the Marlins. Gregory Soto warming. This will be the end of a magnificent day for Trevor Rogers said this might be a little strange and different against his old team. Nothing seems strange or different today. This is who Trevor Rogers is. It’s not birdland anymore. It’s Mr Rogers neighborhood lefties had been over their last 17 against Gregory Soto but he hits ST and that puts two Marlins on with two out for Derek Hill. 11 ground ball left side, threw for a base hit. Here comes Myers truck around third throw to the plate cut off. ST is caught in a run down. The run will score. They tag out stour. A two out RB I single for Derek Hill. The Orioles allow the inherited runner to score and finally somebody breaks the ice runner on second two outs pitch to Mullins fly ball right field. ST is right there. He’s looking, he’s calling, he makes the catch Jansen Junk is through seven innings of work seven shutout innings for Jansen Junk in Baltimore. Today, Xavier Edwards switch hitter turns around Edwards hits one in the air down the right field line and this is off the top of the wall and Then it gets all over the head of Lorean Edwards will stop at second with a double and he’s going homer hunting. He does his bicep curls at second base saying I got to get in the weight room. He got a splitter off the inside edge and he nearly turned one out of here. He plays the throws down to third on about. Did they tag him out? No miss a possible second run for Miami is 90 ft away. Two, one that’s a base hit and it’s 20, Miami on a 100 mile an hour fastball from Sir Anthony dominguez sanchez deposits it out into center field huge hit an outstanding at bat. Big run for the Marlins fourth steal of the year for Kyle ST standing up and he gets in the scoring. That would be a huge run. One pitch is a bouncing ball to the fore of the shortstop Henderson. He’s got it sliding. He pops up and he does not have a throw to first. He’s got to throw to home and ST broke for the plate. He is in with a feet first slide. Hill pushes to second on that Kyle Stour out of nowhere. Took an extra 90 ft to give the fish a three nothing lead. That’s the all star playing baseball for the Miami Marlins. And here’s a ground ball fair over the bag at third, rolling down the left field line. Hill will score. So no, how with an extra base hit more damage for the Marlins with two outs late Then it’s four nothing Miami. Now they’ve gotten to the Oriole bullpen, that Oriole bullpen has really been struggling. The whole staff has really been struggling and the Marlins just put him on it pitch to Xavier Edwards. That one hit high in the air out to right center field and deep Liano back at the track at the wall and it’s gone. He finally did it the last qualified hitter without a homer. He’s doing his bicep curls as he rounds third base X homer number one on the year and the fish have blown it open in the ninth. Six nothing. All four runs coming with two men gone in the inning. Again, this game was scoreless through the front. Two thirds of the Marlins played in a run in the top of the seventh one more in the eighth and four in the ninth in on o’neill’s hands. He flares it into shallow left field that’s carrying out for Dane who gets there and he makes the catch to end the ball game. How about these fish? The back third of the ball game was all Marlins, the Marlins six , the Orioles nothing.

DFA OโNEILL, SOTO, AND BLEWETT
The Miami Marlins are 43-51โซ๏ธ๐ต๐ขโช๏ธ๐ โ๏ธ๐๏ธ๐
Fish!
Edit: Shame Rogers is listed as the losing pitcher because for sure it was the bullpen that blew it
Edit2: Marlins love getting runs on 2 outs
Since being drafted by the Marlins and after making the All Star team in 2021: overrated and benched
5 good starts with the Orioles: this guys an ace
Stowers has all but 2 good weeks this season: heโs a streaky hitter, heโs overrated.
You see a theme here.
4:49 welcome to a Marlins game. If the Marlins got the same calls it would be fine.
Based off the video I had no idea the Marlins won!!
Marlins showed resilience today
O'Neil is atrocious 50 mil in the gutter

Finally x homered
X baby
Jansen Junk is crazy though. I think it's a top 20 all time pitcher name. Good stuff…. Tough game.
The Birds get slaughtered by the fish ๐
Orioles should change their name to the oreo cookies cause that how they been playing since 1984 lmao.
Too embarrassing for words
Junk has been an elite pitcher since becoming a starter. At the age of 29. I love Baseball nonsense.
Every single MLB game is controlled by betting conglomerates. It is obvious if you just take the time to watch. Learn mathematics and probabilities, and you will understand. Then you will realize that this is so evil that everything has to be owned by devil worshipping, child touchers and child fluid drinkers. Wake up and change the world.
Thank you Lord for giving us ALL the talents and abilities to perform for your Glory. Amen.
Stowers over Soto as an All-Star is crazy. Stowers is a solid player but shouldn't have made the ASG over Soto.
We are grateful to You, Lord, for endowing us with every talent and ability needed to perform in Your Glory. So sei es.
That was ugly.
I didn't see the Fish shutting out the Orioles today, but that is what happened.
Rogers is sharp. Junk is good.
Red Sox winning the World Series 2025! Im the first to say it!
