I can assure you we’re going to be making you some hefty amounts of money handover fist. And it’s going to start here with this match up between the Athletics and the Toronto Blue Jays. For the Toronto Blue Jays, it’s Jose Bereos listed as the starter in this one, while the Athletics will counter with Jeffrey Springs. And you know, Bereios coming off another strong start last time out. Six six innings of one run ball. Gave up two hits, had four strikeouts. Again, it was against the Chicago White Socks, but still, I think, something that’s sort of worth keeping in the back of your mind just cuz like I said, Bereios has been, you know, fantastic. And he’s already pitched against the Athletics this season. Granted, it was at home, but it was six innings of two hit shutout ball with nine strikeouts. You know, for me, the Athletics have just been an inconsistent offense as of late. And, you know, it’s just it’s just hard to back them against one of the hotter teams in baseball overall in the Toronto Blue Jays. On the other side though, you do have Jeffrey Springs. And the Blue Jays admittedly have not been as hot against left-handed pitching as they were, you know, as recently as a few weeks ago. And, you know, they were at one point just redhot. They could not be stopped against left-handed pitching. However, in the last two weeks, basically in the month of July against left-handed pitching, they are only hitting 232, but they have team OPS numbers above league average. Their their strikeout percentages way low, below 14%, 14.3% to be exact. and the isolated power numbers are still solid for Toronto. We fell just outside the top 10. I also think that Toronto when it comes down to it has the much more trustworthy bullpen. I get it. You know, this ballpark in Sacramento can be an equalizer and can bring down even some of the best pitchers, you know, in all of baseball, but I don’t know if I love Jeffrey Springs in this start against this Blue Jays lineup. The way the Blue Jays are swinging their bats right now and finding ways to get the job done. I know Springs in his last five starts has been able to make it into the sixth inning or out six full innings four times, given up three runs or less in all those starts, two earned runs or less in all five. But I think in the end when it comes down to it, you know, the Blue Jays can get to Springs. They already did for six runs as Springs gave up six walks in his first start against the Blue Jays this season. Don’t think it’s going to be six walks again for the Jays, but I think it’ll be enough damage to beat up on Springs and to get another win here. So, give me the Blue Jays and this one on the money line and that’s going to be my free pick.
