Miro Heiskanen NEEDS TO HAVE A MASSIVE Season for the Dallas Stars

The Dallas Stars are entering the season with serious expectations. It’s cup or bust for this talented team. After making deep playoff runs in recent years, they’re clearly in win now mode. And one of the biggest keys to their success is their incredible star defenseman. The Finnish defenseman is one of the most gifted two-way bliners in the league. But for the Stars to truly take the next step, Hayeskin needs to have a massive season. Hkinan has always been solid, calm under pressure, smooth with the puck, and smart in his positioning. But now it’s time for him to elevate from great to elite. He has all the tools. Elite skating, offensive vision, defensive awareness, but the stars need him to dominate consistently. Whether it’s quarterbacking the power play, or shutting down top opposition, he has to be the engine on the back end. He’s shown flashes of Norris level potential, but this is the season where he needs to put it all together for a full 82 games and then the playoffs. He will need to continue to take on massive minutes in all situations. This season, I would like to see him elevate his game-breaking presence from the blue line even more. If Hasten can step up and have the kind of season we all know he’s capable of, 60 plus points, dominant matchups against top lines, and strong leadership, he could be in serious Norris trophy conversations. More importantly, he could be the piece that puts Dallas over the top in the tough Western Conference. I predict he’s going to get a careerhigh of 85 points this upcoming season, and this will be a defining year for him. Hkinn is my pick to win the 2026 Norris Trophy. He’s no longer the young prospect full of potential. It’s time for him to take over the league in his prime. He will be a very important part of the Dallas Stars being a Stanley Cup contender. This is why I know that the time for him to take over is now. He’s no longer going to be considered underrated. Instead, he’s going to be considered as one of the top five best defenseman in the league. And Hayeskin deserves that because he never cheats the work in the defensive zone for offense.
