Atlanta Braves vs St. Louis Cardinals – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | July 13, 2025 MLB Season

And that one popped toward right center. Late break for Victor. He’s going to track it down and he’ll slide on the grass. And Olsson tipped that into the glove of Pedro Pz. Sunny has his first strike out on a high fast ball. Two out with two outs. And on the ground is short. Hard hit but right at Mason. And Sunny Gray has a one, two, three. Top of the first. who was just brought up for Atlanta. Popped up left side. Nacho Alvarez in foul ground is underneath and one pitch one out. Balls no strikes for Berles who’s been very patient this month. Herrera takes off. Baldwin’s throw. No chance. Off the end of the bat. Popped up to center. Michael Harris is there. He’s got it. And two men are out. But he’s feeling bad for these guys. They’re living a great life, the best life, but there’s a lot that goes into it. So JC down on strikes. Cardinals strand a pair. And we head to the second with no score. Thank you, Alexa. Bad news for Nbar. Good news for Sunny Gray who has his second strike out to set down the first. Let’s say I don’t have much RZ when it comes to ice skating. I get that. Swinging a miss. Baldwin down on three pitches. One ball, no strikes. Popped up by Azie Albby. This one in foul ground. Pah tosses the mask and makes the basket catch. Three-0 count. Runner goes. Pitch a strike. Throw from the knees way late and the Cardinals have stolen two bases. He made the play. A swing and a miss. Big strike out for Daniel. Two outs with a runner at second. It’s up to Victor for Mr. Scott. The pitch on the ground off the pitcher’s glove. That’ll be a base hit. Streaking around his wing. He will score from second on an infield hit. Davis Daniel gets a piece of this one. It goes over towards second base and Mason Win. Take a look. He sees it and he is taking off around third. That’s huge right there. That gives if he goes first. He does. Pitch high. Throw to second. Even higher and safe. Somehow Victor was able to hold the bag with the left toe. Okay, two chains also. Back up the middle, but right to short and Allen flips that to first and that will retire the side. Michael Harris II has two hits in the series. Not this time. He grounds to short. Mason throws him out and sharply hitting to right center field. The Berles will cut it off and not before Allen goes first to third. Back-to- back Atlanta hit. Sets it up for Matt Olsen. Five of them as a team. That one is launched to right and Olsen bangs off the top of the fence. Too much top hand. First and third. A run is in to tie the score. So Olsson with a ringing single off the right field fence. Ties it up. Three consecutive Atlanta hits. Well, really fortunate on a couple of fronts here are the Cardinals. One that has two balls, two strikes for Akuna. Swing and a miss. Sunny Gray whips in. That’s number five. As full count, runner goes. Pitch cut on a miss. Baldwin’s throw. No chance. And a stolen base for Herrera. He came in with one steel. He’s got two today. Swing drive center field. Harris back toward the infield. turns and recovers as that one died in the middle of the warning track and a swing and a miss. Lead off walk, but then Daniel strikes out two of the next three hitters. Steven Matz will take the hill as we head to the fourth inning. Tied and a swing and a miss on a good curve ball. Murphy’s 0 for two. Matt starts his fourth inning with swing and miss. Chevy pits track. The curve ball here from Steven M. most of his offensive categories. This one hit toward right and playable for Berles. No trouble moving left to right. One ball, no strikes on the ground to short. Baseball, hot dogs, and apple pie. That’s my favorite. Three up, three down. And we go to the fifth inning. Every once in a while, good piece of hitting by Proar. He singles to right. He’s got two more hits. Merles misses the cut off man and the throw goes wide and the Cardinals back up. Mats a nice job. So JC able to pick it up. Pitch number 10. Lied in. It almost decapitated Prof. That’s going to score too. And on a 10 pitch sequence, Matt Olsen smokes one through the raindrops to give Atlanta the lead. Swing and a miss. Prompo strikes out of Kuna. He slams the bat. He fractures the helmet and the Cardinals go to work in the fifth. Down two. That one served into the gap in left center. That’ll get down for a base hit. Victor’s going to try for third. The throw on target but late. High pop into shallow right. Arkunia coming on. Still coming. He can’t get there. One run is in. Here comes Burles. He will score. It falls in no man’s land. It’s a blue pit and a tie game. How about that? Unreal. [Applause] So, it’s a three-3 score. A two out hit. And another chance for Akuna this time in right. He adjusts on the fly and that will retire the side. Ground ball right side. And Donnie gives ground and a perfect throw to retire the side. Working the squeegee. Everybody was in on the action. Firm mean pulls his hands in. That’s driven deep to left. Fine has hit a homer. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] What a time for your first big league homer. Well, that is a base. His first games against the Braves and a chopper hit toward third right at the back. Alvarez. Nice play and a strike to retire the side. Big hits he got in that rookie season and a shot in the air toward right center. Victor coming on, dives and it deflects off the glove. Great effort by Scott. It didn’t stick. And Harris aboard with his second hit of the game. Well, Victor Scott the second does everything that he possibly can on this. It hangs up in the air just little chopper’s going to get a run home. Grappo to the bag. Missed the bag. The run is in. That hurts. Proar safe at first. Runner goes. He did. And strike three. Hadtrick for Akunia. Two quick strikes for Contras. And that catches the inside corner. No argument. Nasty pitch with a pair of stolen bases earlier. Mason Win has one. And JC has three. Three strikeouts. That is. He’s retired. Two outs. Swing and a miss. After a single, Suero comes in and strikes out three consecutive Cardinals. We go to the eighth combo for strikes and trusted. Murphy a mile high fly to left for me to the warning track now in six or seven. 3-2 is high in trouble. A foot single and a walk with two outs. Now Harris is up and he’s got two hits away. The lead late runners go. Strike came out. What an exciting moment for this young man. He drives another one high in the air to left, but not deep enough this time. Proofar is going to handle that for that’s it to right and plenty of room for Akuna. Victor pops this one up. Matt Olsen is at the first base bag and he’ll make the play. So off we go to the night on the ground pass third. A base hit. Quite an at bat by Proofar. And now Atlanta first and second. Nobody out. Olsen coming up. He went that time and Olsson down on a check swing strike out. Slowly hit left side. Second base one. Diamonds turn is a little late and two are out in the inning. Center cut evens the count. [Music] Little chopper left side. That should do it. And the paint to first in time. And the Cardinals head to the break with a 54 victory over Atlanta. Boy, that was a hard-fought victory. [Music]
