  1. If he’s a buy-low guy, I’m all for it. Especially if we’re pairing him with Diaz. Martín Maldonado needs to be put out to pasture, and Campy’s bat does nothing to make up for his weak defense. Just don’t overpay.

  2. A good catcher would probably be more pricier than an outfielder. So Lee could be a cheap option and a small upgrade to Maldonado while AJ works on finding a LF.

  3. This is obviously just the White Sox planting this, Preller never tells anyone who he’s going after.

  4. Yes, because we should be giving up assets for a guy with a mediocre at best bat.

Maybe if he was free. This guy isn’t enough of an upgrade from what we already have IMO.

  5. I trust anything from the White Sox. Remember guys, they come bearing gifts.

  6. Lets keep the White Sox -> Padres -> Cooperstown pipeline going, we got Tatis, Sheets, Cease…

  7. Sure why not. He can’t be any worse than what we’ve we trotted out there so far this season.

  8. we have a good track record making white sox guys flourish here in SD. i wouldn’t be against this at all
