So what were your thoughts on the HoF?
I went last year and to be honest, I was a bit underwhelmed. Don’t get me wrong, it was nice and I enjoyed it. But I had a whole day set aside for it and I was done in like an hour
It’s a challenge to spend more than 90 minutes.
There’s a whole underground city in the “aquifer” that they played in. I heard about it on ancient aliens.
I went in the fall and enjoyed it for what it was. Been to all except Cooperstown. So far, Football HOF has been the best one.
Technically the playing surface at Nassau Coliseum was below ground level.
And we buried the Rangers there often. Including four straight playoff series, lol, that was awesome.
Still, this is disappointing from our Canadian friends who should know better. At least in English. No issue in the French version (which correctly uses à, meaning at or to, in referring to where the Rangers were buried).
I guess it’s fitting Boss scores the historic goal vs the Caps and Ovie scores his historic goal against the Isles.
