3 Tigers prospects who should be untouchable if Detroit buys at deadline

  1. What a pointless article lol there’s literally no world they’d trade any of these guys this year

  2. Rainer is more untouchable than Briceno imo. Haven’t had a legit shortstop prospect in my lifetime, I can’t give that up

  3. “Untouchable” is such a strange concept. No one should ever be absolutely untouchable. There is a trade package for everyone. Maybe not realistic ones, but if I’m a GM I at least listen to any offer.

  4. Remember folks you can’t win multiple championships if you haven’t won the first one yet.

Not really interested in sustained success (whatever that means) when we haven’t won a title in 40 years.

  5. No one is untouchable it’s just the price is more than any other team would be willing to pay.

Scott has to get help for the pen but he won’t spend his best prospects to do it

  6. Not gonna lie brisceno is towards the bottom of the list I wouldn’t be willing to trade but he would be tradable for the right piece back(top flight starter with multiple years of team control or great right handed bat with multiple years team control.) brisceno is not really a catcher in the bigs(unless he take huge leaps defensively) and with tork and carpenter we don’t really need a full time 1st base or DH.

  7. Can’t wait to trade max clark to get bregman instead of just not being a cheap franchise and signing him in the offseason.

  8. Funny enough, this is a trade package I came up for Paul Skenes. Spotless even include a lesser prospect or Jace Jung. That ESPN proposal was too rich, but depending on what i got back, i would trade anyone

  9. The only one on that list who even approaches untouchable is McGonicle

Everytime I went to watch McGonicle play the guy straight up just nuked the ball as opposed to Clark who hit the ball sometimes but not as hard and as often as Mcgonicle

Max Clark isn’t that good and is currently more of a project then a finished product as a bat from a power perspective

The one trait that he has that makes him potentially valuable is his speed if he can hit it in the gaps but last I checked hitting it over the fence is better than gap shots

Ranier should maybe be on this list and take Briceno off he 100% should be tradable like Clark if the right offer is available

But nobody really should be untouchable bro this article is pointless

  10. Lol, you offer me someone like Acuna for Clark and I’d take buddy to the airport myself. Get out of here with “untouchable.” Prospects are so overrated

  11. I would say these 3 plus Rainer, unless if you’re getting a young player that will be around for a long time.

  12. Take our whole top 10 prospects off the board for any rental players.
Has no one been paying attention? The days of trading away top prospects for rentals died before we traded JD Martinez for pennies on the dollar.
Also have to wonder if our fanbase really comprehends that this front office is not going to turn into a Dombrowski operating method just because we are in 1st place. Rather, the team is now working to be successful for the long term by doing what a small/mid market team needs to do…ie develop players themselves and no get tied into bad long term contracts.

  13. I’m not totally averse to trading prospects for players with high value, but remember Alfredo Simón for Eugenio Suárez?
