ESPN & NFL still disrespect Jalen Hurts, even though Philadelphia Eagles are good enough to REPEAT!

Welcome to NFL Madness, your go-to YouTube channel for NFL action game highlights, analysis, news, and stories. Subscribe and fuel your football passion. You got a twotime league MVP sitting at number four. That if that doesn’t make you scratch your head a little bit, that that’s that’s something there. Number two, look down at number nine. Jaylen Herz. Uhhuh. Okay. Got Super Bowl MVP at number nine. And you got Justin Herbert at seven. I think when people look at this thing, I’ve always said when it comes to Justin Herbert, if you build a quarterback in the lab, it would be Justin Herbert. He’s that type of guy. He has everything that you want. He has the the size, the arm, he has movement skills. He has all of that. But what Jaylen Herz has is moments like when you when Jaylen when you need plays to be made, Jaylen Herz make those plays. It’s not going to always look pretty with Jaylen Hertz. We’ve heard we heard the rumblings last year during the season from AJ Brown how they talked about the passing game. It’s not going it’s not going to always be pretty but this is the same Jaylen Herz who outplayed Patrick Mahomes in two Super Bowls that they went headto-head against. He was a better player in both of those Super Bowls. And so for me like it’s disrespectful having Jaylen Herz at number nine. I just Can we see the list again? The top 10 quarterbacks heading into 2025. It’s according to executives, coaches, and scouts. Now, the top four are obvious every year. In whatever order you want, Burrow, Mahomes, Lamar, Josh Allen. After that, it gets difficult. Jaylen Herz was once again utterly disrespected by executive coaches and scouts. Jaylen Herz has been to two Super Bowls, and Jaylen Herz is only ninth. If you look at that list of the top 10 guys, Jaylen Herz is the only nonirstround quarterback. First impressions matter. I’m very bullish on Herz. I have him unequivocally number five. Yes, I love Matthew Stafford. He’s awesome. If it’s third and seven, he’s not a threat to scramble for that first down. Yeah, looking at looking at that right there, that that’s awful. Oh. Uh, and you can think whatever you want to think about Jaylen Herz, but there should never be a list to where Justin Herbert is in front of Jaylen Herz. I don’t really care about what type of talent and all that you talking about. And then Jayen Daniels is going to be a superstar in this league. I truly believe that. But I cannot put him in front of Jaylen Herz who’s been to two Super Bowls. He’s had one good year. Do I think at the end of this when it’s all said and done, could he possibly, baby? Yes, absolutely. But right now, as we’re talking right now, after one year, no. And then I see Justin Herbert at seven who hasn’t won a playoff game. His boy been in more Super Bowls than you won playoff games. And we talking about Justin Herbert’s a better quarterback to him. I cannot do that. I think this is disrespectful to Jaylen Herz right here. This is this is an awful list when you have Jayen Herz at nine and those two dudes in front of him. To me, it’s absolutely asinine that Jaylen Herz isn’t in the top five. And I would suggest at minimum bare bare bare bare minimum top six. And for me, it’s very simple. Jaylen Herz, he wins. He wins at a high cliff. And I understand that winning and losing you might suggest isn’t necessarily a quarterback stat, but yes, the Eagles are a good team. There have been a lot of good teams. The Niners in 23 were a really good team. Brock Pury and that Niners team couldn’t get it done. They lost to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl year 24. The Baltimore Ravens in 2023 were a really good team. Number one defense in all of football. Lamar Jackson couldn’t get it done at home in the AFC Championship game, losing to the Chiefs. So, you can’t just tell me, well, Jaylen Herz has such a good team. There have been a lot of good teams that fall short and been a lot of good teams where the quarterback isn’t Super Bowl MVP. Ask Matthew Stafford and Cooper Cup how that went when Matthew Stafford finally won. For me, I got Jaylen Herz at five. And it it it’s simple. And I want to show y’all just a simple reason as to why and metric as to why. Jaylen Herz, regular season AllPro, he’s checked that off. Super Bowl, he’s checked that off. Super Bowl MVP, he’s checked that off. Disregard Pat. Disregard Lamar. Disregard Josh Allen. Assume they’re all better than Jaylen Herz. Fine. They have something. Herz doesn’t have a regular season MVP. But Jaden Daniels, you ain’t got no All pros. You ain’t got no Super Bowl appearances. You definitely ain’t got no Super Bowl MVPs. Justin Herbert, just stop. You have nothing that Jaylen Herz has except the 65 stature. Jared Golf, at least you’ve been to a Super Bowl, but you ain’t got no All pros. You have no Super Bowl win nor Super Bowl MVP. And Joe Burrow, you ain’t got a AllPro, a regular season MVP, a Super Bowl win, or a Super Bowl MVP. So, how can you list any of these quarterbacks ahead of Jaylen Herz if you’re just talking about who throws the ball best from the pocket? different conversation, a conversation I can concede to. But if you’re talking about who’s the best quarterback, Jaylen Herz is better than all of those quarterbacks. If you want to suggest Joe Burrow, I will listen to that conversation, obviously. Hello, Eagles fans and football fanatics. Welcome to your go-to channel for the latest NFL news, where we dive deep into the stories that shape the game. Today, we’re talking about a quarterback who’s defied the odds, silenced the doubters, and climbed to the pinnacle of the NFL. Jaylen Herz, the Philadelphia Eagles superstar, is fresh off a Super Bowl Liix MVP performance. And now he’s gunning for something even bigger. The 2025 NFL MVP award. Buckle up because this is a story of grit, glory, and unrelenting ambition. But how did Jaylen Herz go from a second round draft pick to a Super Bowl hero? Let’s break down his journey and why the NFL world is buzzing about his latest ranking. On the 9th of February 2025, Jaylen Herz stood tall in the Caesar Superdome, leading the Philadelphia Eagles to a commanding 40 to 22 volts victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl licks with 221 passing yards, two touchdown passes, and a rushing score. Herz outshined Patrick Mahomes, a three-time Super Bowl MVP. His performance wasn’t just a win. It was a statement. Herz became the third black quarterback to earn Super Bowl MVP honors, joining legends like Doug Williams and Russell Wilson. He also made history as the first NFL player to record five passing and five rushing touchdowns in a single postseason. Pause for effect. This wasn’t just a game, it was a coronation. Head coach Nicksi said it best. He just keeps getting better. He knows how to win. And when he did, avenging the Eagles heartbreaking loss to the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV7 two years prior hurts poise under pressure. His ability to block out the noise and his leadership in crunchtime have cemented his place in Eagles lore. But here’s the kicker. Even with a Lombardi trophy and a Super Bowl MVP award, some still doubt his greatness. Slightly incredulous tone. Can you believe that? Yet, even with this historic victory, Herz’s journey isn’t without its critics. Let’s dive into ESPN’s 2025 quarterback rankings and why they’ve sparked a firestorm of debate. ESPN’s annual quarterback rankings, compiled from surveys of NFL executives, coaches, and scouts, dropped a bombshell on the 14th of July, 2025. Jaylen Herz, the reigning Super Bowl MVP, finally cracked the top 10, landing at number nine. Pa ninth for a quarterback who just outdooled Patrick Mahomes on the biggest stage for a 26-year-old who’s led his team to two Super Bowl appearances in three years. That’s right, ninth behind names like Jaden Daniels, Matthew Stafford, Jared Goff, and Justin Herbert. None of whom have a Super Bowl ring, let alone an MVP trophy. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler praised Herz, noting he’s the most potent short yardage quarterback rusher in NFL history with a record-breaking streak of four consecutive seasons with 10 or more rushing touchdowns. Herz also ranked first in completion percentage over expected at plus 6%. And his deep ball to Devontto Smith. In the Super Bowl, Fowler called it a Superdomesized work of art. Yet the skepticism lingers. Critics point to Herz’s 2023 season where he threw 15 interceptions on 538 attempts, questioning his consistency as a pocket passer, but in 2024, he slashed that number to just five interceptions on 361 attempts, proving he can protect the ball while leading a run-heavy offense. Emphatic tone. The question isn’t whether Herz belongs in the top 10 he does. It’s why he’s not in the top five. where his Super Bowl pedigree says he belongs. While the rankings spark debate, Herz is too busy living the life of a champion. Let’s talk about how he’s basking in the spotlight and why he’s still hungry for more. Winning a Super Bowl changes everything. For Jaylen Herz, the spotlight has never been brighter after his Super Bowl Liix heroics. He didn’t just go to Disney World. He rubbed shoulders with legends like Michael Jordan and Carmelo Anthony. As reported by Niece Kicks on X, he married his college sweetheart Briana Burroughs in June 2025 and graced the covers of Sports Illustrated, Men’s Health, and Time. But don’t mistake this for a victory lap, Herz told Sports Illustrated. It’s an adjustment period. There are different things I have to do within the building that have evolved. It’s my discipline and my focus on what the main thing is. That main thing, work. Herz is already planning his 2025 off season, knowing other quarterbacks have a head start after the Eagles deep playoff run. In 2024, he played 15 regular season games throwing for 2,93 yards, 18 touchdowns, and just five interceptions while rushing for 630 yards and 14 touchdowns. Paired with Saquon Barklay’s NFL offensive player of the year performance over 2,000 rushing yards. Herz led the league’s most dominant run first offense. Yet he’s not satisfied. You play this long into the year, Herz said. And I know I’m behind in terms of what’s to come in the future. Emphatic tone. That’s the mindset of a champion who’s not just chasing trophies, he’s chasing greatness. But even as Herz soaks in the glory, the doubters refuse to stay silent. Let’s unpack why disrespect season is still in full swing for Philly’s QB1. Philadelphia is a city that thrives on passion, loyalty, and let’s be honest, a little chip on its shoulder. For Eagles fans, there’s a sixth season beyond the big four sports and the MLS disrespect season. And in 2025, it’s hitting Jaylen Herz harder than a blindside blitz. despite his Super Bowl MVP, despite leading the Eagles to a 40 to22 route of the Chiefs, despite a resume that includes two Pro Bowls, two NFC Championships, and a Super Bowl ring at just 26 years old, Herz is still getting shade. ESPN’s no nine ranking, that’s just the start. Former backup QB Chase Daniel on Fox Sports the Facility had the audacity to say he wouldn’t start a franchise with Herz, claiming there are more than four guys he’d pick over him incredulous tone really Chase name them outkicks Jason Whitlock went further arguing Herz isn’t elite pointing to his early Super Bowl interception and crediting the Eagles loaded roster a ban Jay Brown Devont Smith Saquon Barkley and a top tier offensive line for his success, but Nick Serriani shut that down. It’s the ultimate team game. You can’t name a great quarterback without their great receivers or defenses. Posa Tom Brady had Gronk. Mahomes has Kelsey Herz. He’s got the heart of a lion and a team that believes in him. Disrespect season. It’s only fueling his fire for 2025. With the doubters circling, Herz has his eyes on a bigger prize. Let’s wrap this up with why he’s the front runner for the 2025 NFL MVP. As the Philadelphia Eagles gear up for the 2025 season, all eyes are on Jaylen Herz. NFL comm’s Grant Gordon calls him a leading candidate for the 2025 NFL MVP. And it’s easy to see why. At just 27, Herz has already done what most quarterbacks only dream of, two Super Bowl appearances. a Super Bowl MVP and a near MVP season in 2022 where he finished second behind Patrick Mahomes. His 2024 stats 68 7% completion 103 seven passer rating 36 total touchdowns and just four turnovers and 14 starts show a quarterback hitting his prime. But it’s not just numbers. It’s his maturity, his leadership, his ability to treat triumph and disaster the same. As one fan blog poetically put it, quoting Ruddard Kipling, Herz faces a new challenge in 2025, his sixth offensive coordinator in six seasons, Kevin Patulo. Yet with a J Brown, Devont Smith, Dallas God, and Saquon Barkley by his side, the Eagle’s offense remains a juggernaut emphatic tone. If Hertz stays healthy and elevates his pocket passing building on his 2024 improvement, could climb from no nine to the top five, maybe even number one. The NFL MVP trophy isn’t just a goal, it’s a destiny. Jaylen Herz is ready to prove he’s not just a champion, he’s the best in the game. And that’s the story of Jaylen Herz, Super Bowl hero, MVP contender, and a quarterback who’s rewriting the narrative. Stick around for more NFL news and let us know in the comments. 1. How can they ignore natural greatness like that it's nothing at all. Sacrifices that Jalen Hurts have made for his team and career and players alike and owner. This is how you become a legend and legendary among men and games. The right character will always lead to leadership and being a leader. Perfecting your skill and sacrifices are the things of legends. Making choices for your future and others make your team respect you and your coaches as well as your ownership. They see how much you want it and care for your teammates. He has chosen be leader by example. He has nothing to prove but wants to anyway. He's the thing greatness seeks out.

  2. Winning and losing is not the only QB stat, but it is the MOST significant. That’s maybe not obvious, because winning is also a team stat. The QB is the single most important member of the team.

Ask yourself the following question, would you rather have a QB who throws for 4,000 yards, but collapses in the playoffs, ala’ Dak Prescott. Or, a QB with very good, but not great throwing stats who typically rises in overall performance to be the difference maker in playoff games – culminating in a championship?

  3. It doesn't matter what people say, Hurts pass my EYE Test. He's a winner that gets the job done, for me that's what matters. I bet he out shines every quarter back again this year , Why ?? Because he's built different, his mentality, is the best, he's been through the fire all his career, doesn't crack under pressure, Shines in big moments…. Thank all I need to SEE…😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
