The greatest Pirates power hitter ever will always be 'Pops'
Willie Stargell posted a .282 batting average with 475 homers, 2,232 hits and 1,540 RBI over his career, spent entirely with the Pirates.

575 and 565 are the biggest asterisks ever haha
But then again… I knew a guy who could throw a football over them mountains
Ok cool
Forgot how savage peak Adam Dunn was
“Not an exhibition with softball pitches” then proceeds to list Babe Ruth’s “575 feet” home run lmao. I mean guys that Ruth was facing probably only threw as hard as the batting practice pitchers. There’s about a 0% chance he hit a ball 575 feet. With current equipment even in the juiced ball season of 2019 and guys throwing 102 no one has come close to that distance. You can’t convince me Babe Ruth did that in 1921 swinging a tree trunk at sawdust baseballs against factory workers throwing 85 mph.
But exit velocity !
💛🖤 Pops
