ABS rules:
Each team will get two challenges and can keep them if they're successful. Challenges can only be initiated by a pitcher, catcher or batter, and the request must come right after the pitch. To signal a challenge, the pitcher, catcher or batter will tap his hat or helmet to let the umpire know. No help from the dugout or other players on the field is allowed.
The ABS (Automated Ball-Strike) challenge system was featured in this year's All-Star Game. It looks like it's coming in 2026.

Making them challenges is BS, have it call every pitch.
If I got called out on a sliver like that I’d be heated lmao
Good. Fuck catchers acting every goddamn pitch like they’re a basketball player or soccer player. Oh, excuse me, “framing.” Gee whiz what a virtue.
It’s bullshit how this shit became necessary.
