What to you is the biggest issue for the Oilers at this moment? There’s a number of things you can choose from here. I’m actually gonna go off the board here. I think the Oders organization right now and really in the room I I think they’re they’re a very serious group and like you can’t win the cup in October, you can’t win it in December. You can lose it by, you know, having a terrible run and they haven’t done that. But I wonder just sometimes if if they ever really have any fun, right? like they they’re such a serious group and I and I think that that there’s so much internal pressure to win now because they’ve lost twice and I understand it like you don’t want to lose twice obviously not but so I would say the biggest issue for them is being able to exhale a little bit and and enjoy the process rather than always every decision you make thinking that it’s all about June. It is but it’s you can’t take like it’s it’s a step every year to get there. You don’t just get to jump to row 20 and start the playoffs.

  2. I have never seen a team get so emotionaly defeated and give up in a cup final with time on the clock and a chance to win. They were two goals down, a player slams his stick at the ref over nothing and misses a open opportunity for a breakout pass and a good zone entry, in a game with no space or extra time your second best player in skating slowly to the bench and delaying line changes (not once or twice, around 8 times this happened with draisital alone, a guy who the rest if the team looks to and unfortunately they followed suit), giving up when there was still time to comeback. That just doesn't happen in the Stanley cup final with time still left on the clock and a chance to comeback. Never seen it before. Love the guys, but man, it was completely stunning. You simply dont see that at the highest level of team sports (football, soccer, baseball, basketball), it was especially weird to see it in hockey from such a good team and players

  4. It’s hard to watch when mcdavid barely celebrates in the regular season. I get it, he’s just ready for playoffs, but yeah it seems like they have no fun.

    Some youth will hopefully change that
