  7. Okay this should be like a mandatory thing for blow outs. Set a point target with like a minute left and the home team tries to win their fans free tacos.

  9. That Bulls player eventually helped (14th most minutes on the playoffs roster!) Lakers get to a WCF so there’s redemption.

  12. Assuming they were jack in the box tacos, the refs called that foul as an act of mercy to spare the fans that garbage. No offense to anyone that likes them, lord knows I like some garbage foods. But tacos is where I draw the line, personally.

  14. There was more effort by both teams in the final 19.5secs than the last 5 AS games combined.

  15. You’d think after buying Lakers tickets, the idea of paying for your taco would beat the idea of 2 more hours of traffic, even if there are free tacos…

  31. I remember there was one game where the bulls were at 99 points (100 and a win gets all fans free Big Macs). Kirk hinrich was at the line and I saw him say something to another bulls player and they both started laughing. He proceeded to brick both FTs horribly to deny fans Big Macs.

  32. I was at a Raptors game in Toronto about 25 years ago (Vince Carter was still on the Raptors, and they were playing the Allen Iverson 76ers) where the promo was all the fans got free pizza if the Raptors scored 100 points.

    It was late in the 4Q, and they were close to 100, and every time the Raptors got the ball, the crowd went into the “DE-FENSE” chant, but instead of saying defense, it was “PI-ZZA”. They hit exactly 100 points and the crowd went more crazy than they had all night. Something about free food from a sporting event unlocks something in people.

    I went and [found the game on basketball reference](https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/pbp/200104030TOR.html), it was Chris Childs hitting a 3 pointer with 30 seconds left that got everyone pizza.

    Side note: It was pizza from a place called Pizza Pizza, and when I went for that free slice, I thought it was pretty subpar.
