WILLIAMSBURG – The Trustees of Reservations closed Wednesday on its purchase of a golf course, vowing to return it to the “wild.”
The nonprofit group paid $1.4 million for the 250-acre Beaver Brook Golf Course in Williamsburg and Northampton. It is planning to “rewild” the property for outdoor recreation and conservation.
