OUT OF CONTROL? Diamondbacks Fan Interferes for FIFTH Time?

Zack Hample, is that you in left field at Chase? No, it’s just an Arizona Diamondbacks fan who has now interfered in his fifth game dating back to 2022. On Monday, during the Diamondbacks 4 to2 victory over the San Francisco Giants, Giants third baseman Christian C hit what appeared to be a home run off of Dbacks reliever John Curtis. Tim Tawa attempted to make an excellent play on the ball in left field and was interfered with by a fan. That ball was originally called a home run. Then crew chief Adrien Johnson ruled it an out due to fan interference. Then when Spelvin got involved with a challenge was ruled a ground rule double due to the interference. The bigger problem here is that people have noticed that this exact same fan has now interfered in five baseball games at Chase Field with the result of each of his interference involving a overturned call for a home run or impacting the game in some way. I don’t understand how people that continue to break the rules are allowed back in Chase Field, but this is just a reminder to you all. Come see the show.

  1. Crazy how you can overpay for tix, drinks, food, merchandise and even for sport tv packages that support the sport and you can't even reach over for a fly ball.

I like the old rules where if you fell over the fence you got booted. Player mis timed his jump. He wasn't getting it.
I will say the fan trying to hog every ball is kind of a douche hobby lol

  2. 100 percent he was gonna miss it anyways. If you can present that the outfielder wasn’t going to catch it or see it on camera it should absolutely be ruled a HR. This is a dumb video.

  3. I don't see any interference there. The player completely missed the catch, the fan didn't touch him. Where is it?

  4. Don't want fan interference? Put some distance between them and the field. Problem solved. They do this at the safari ride in Disney World

  5. They need every fan they can take that’s why😂😂😂 he bought a ticket let him in…. There’s like 48 fans there during games…. Unless the dodger r in town…. Then they pack the house

  6. Honestly that was a home run anyway. It didn’t look good that he leaned over the wall after the fact but that ball was gone.
