Dallas Cowboys Fans LOSING THEIR MINDS & Trevon Diggs GETS SALARY REDUCED!

There I was enjoying a nice midday nap after eating some pizza that 100% gave me a bad case of indigestion. And I woke up to my phone going off, my phone vibrating, FaceTime calls. And I looked and I was like, “Wait a minute. What’s going on? Why is everybody trying to get in contact with me?” And I looked at Twitter. I looked at the internet. And Dallas Cowboys fans were losing their absolute minds because the Pittsburgh Steelers have finally reached an agreement with their standout edge rusher TJ Watt. We’re going to get into that. But then I kept looking and I was like, “Wait a minute. People losing their mind about the Michael Parson situation.” There’s actually something much more interesting going on that happened today as well. We’re going to touch on that. So, let’s get right into today’s show. And be sure to leave a like on the video, [Music] man. Shut your up. All right, so we’re going to go ahead and start off with the TJ Watt news because this is obviously the bigger portion of today’s show. Adam Shfter reports. Steelers star TJ Watt has become the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history for the second time in his illustrious career, reaching an agreement today on a three-year $123 million extension that includes $18 million fully guaranteed at signing. The $41 million per year average is the highest of any non-quarterback in NFL history. The deal has been in the works between CAA Sports and the Steelers front office for months. Okay, this is pretty much as expected. And that’s why I put the show title the way that I did because man, y’all have got to relax. Cowboys fans, y’all got to figure out how to find some type of happy medium of how not to overreact and just do way too much over each and every bit of information and news that comes out. Man, we have been saying for months now, ever since the initial negotiation blew up where Jerry probably could have slid a discount in there. We’ve been saying for months now, Micah’s going to end up getting anywhere between 42 and $45 million per season. Bro, we’ve been saying that. And I think the number is actually 42 million. So, I’m just going to say this right now for those of y’all that, oh, they waited for TJ Watt. They could have got Micah for cheaper. brothers. Jerry had a handshake agreement in place with Michael Parsons that would essentially pay him close to about $38 million APY, but the guaranteed money would be so much guaranteed that it would overtake the guaranteed amount that Miles Garrett had. So, he wouldn’t necessarily have the highest APY, but he would have the most guaranteed non-quarterback money in the league off of that $38 million per season plus damn near fully guaranteed contract. That that’s that’s what the contract that Jerry was presenting pretty much looked like. I’m tired of the be I’m tired of y’all with all these crazy false ass stories and stuff. Y’all got to cut it out, bro. So, Jerry presented that to Michael Parsons. Then Michael Parsons was like, “Hey, I actually really like this deal. this is this looks good. This looks like something along the lines of what I would want to take. And then he brought it to his agent. His agent was like, “Nah, we can do better than that, bro. Don’t let them cheat you. We could do better than that. That is not the amount of money you’re supposed to be taking this off season. We don’t want that. Have them send another deal because we don’t want that one.” That’s essentially where negotiations are stuck right now, y’all. That’s where the negotiations ended for the Cowboys. Jerry gave Micah a deal. Micah was like, “I like this deal. Let me show my agent first.” Agent was like, “Nah, Micah, don’t take that. We want a different deal, Jerry. We want more money. We want X, Y, and Z.” That’s where the negotiations are, bro. So, I’m going to say this. I say this to say this. Micah was never going to take less than $42 million per season from the beginning of this off seasonason. And ever since the negotiations went off the rails, he was never going to take less than $42 million per season. That’s why we’ve been throwing that number around. Remember way back in March when it was originally kind of figured out that contract discussions had taken place. $42 million per season was pretty much the number that was being thrown around. So why are y’all acting surprised now? Cuz TJ Watt got 41. Now, oh, the Cowboys waited so long. We should all be mad. Let’s pick it. Let’s go get our pitchforks and axes and we’re going to pick it. We’re going to burn the village down with torches. Y’all, I need y’all to watch something real quick. I I seriously need y’all to watch this just real quick. And this right here is a perfect illustration of of man, we got to stop getting so hung up and so damn emotional about the small stuff. And quite frankly, it ain’t our money, bro. I don’t care. the Cowboys can afford to pay Michael 42 or 45 and they still would have plenty left to pay their other guys. So, it really don’t matter if we being real, bro. Y’all are getting caught up in monopoly money. Money that ain’t really yours. Money you can’t spend, bro. Y’all getting caught up in that. Take a listen to this clip because this kind of perfectly exemplifies the point I’ve been making about bro do not get overly negatively emotionally invested in stuff that do not matter at the end of the day with your rooting interest. Oh, go ahead. Go ahead. Sure. Okay. So, when I was 6 years old, right, Mhm. My uh family and I were coming home with the dog, my dogs from the vet and uh don’t take drugs kids. I drive her high on drugs, ran a red light, crashed into my car, right? Mhm. Killed my mother, my dogs, my sister, right? Uh put me in a coma for 6 months and now I’m practically paralyzed for the rest of my life. Yeah. Bro, bro. Yeah. And I’m 18 now. My brother, stay strong out there. Yes, sir. God bless you, bro. Stay strong. Always look at the silver linings in life. And knowing that that happened, this type See, y’all, this type of stuff. No, for real. this type of stuff. This is why I tell y’all, bro, y’all cannot be sitting here getting overly angry about meaningless [ __ ] like sports and your team losing, bro. Because there’s people out here going through real life stuff and this man just trying to enjoy his pastime, a hobby. He trying to enjoy this, bro. And y’all want us to live and exist in this super negative ass space, bro. And people got stories like this. This is why I say, bro, no, man. Have fun. Regardless of we win, lose or draw, have fun. Enjoy rooting for your team, bro. Because Hey, man. God bless you. Real talk. You ain’t going to lie. You caught me off guard. You caught me off. You made my nut shrivel up a little bit off of that one. But damn. I’m sorry. Yes, I understand the benefit of getting this deal done from a morale standpoint and all that, but as far as people get being mad because specifically because TJ Watts deal got done first, Micah was always getting 42 million per season or more. I need y’all to understand he was always going to get 42 million per season or more after the original deal that he and Jerry kind of looked at originally kind of had that handshake after that deal was like nah his agent said nah that was the one that was going to be less than the fourth that’s over with his agent was not going to let him accept that so forget all this anger forget all the civil rights movements the freedom marches and I know everybody’s about trying to use this as a rallying point to jump on J we’ve had a great off season. Effing relax and wait for training camp next week so we can get into some real football content. Now is not the time to be doing all this damn civil rights marches and stuff. People just want to start hashtags and all that other BS so they can get attention, bro. Stop being attention [ __ ] bro, and be a football fan. Y’all doing too much. That’s all I got to say about that. TJ Watt has nothing to do with Micah’s deal. And Micah said that literally a couple days ago in a video that we covered. He literally just said TJ and them the numbers they getting ain’t got nothing to do with his deal cuz he was always going to get paid the most. Y’all tripping, bro. Now, the more interesting aspect of this story that I wanted to dive into is uh why ain’t y’all panicking about the fact that the Cowboys than fined essentially Trevon Diggs $500,000 for not rehabbing with the team enough this off season. Cuz to me, this is a much bigger story than TJ Watt being signed and now everybody think, “Oh, Michael’s going to get paid more.” He’s not. He was always going to get 42 million, man. I can’t stress this enough. He was always going to get 42 million. All right. I’m just saying, bro, that that nothing has changed with Michael Parson’s deal due to TJ Watt. Please, please, please listen to somebody that knows. Listen to somebody that’s been informed. Listen to somebody that’s not steered wrong all off season. Nothing has changed with Micah Parson’s contract negotiations after the Watt deal. Bro, please listen to that. All right. But this may change some things. as it pertains to Trevon Diggs now being final because now we’ve seen this pattern take place with the Cowboys. They do one of two things with their stars on their team. Either Jerry loves them and he keeps them around for their entire career or at some point in their career, you see either the team itself or the media begin to mobilize against that player. The team has began to mobilize against Trevor Handig. As if it wasn’t enough that he wasn’t prominently featured in the team’s media day, he hasn’t really been on much promotional material. He hasn’t really been on any of their social pages at all outside of I think a happy birthday post or something like that um and a 7-Eleven post. He hasn’t really been featured much at all any of the team promotional material in offseason and the the coaching staff and the people involved organization haven’t been saying the best things about him. Remember Jerry came out and discussed how Diggs needs to do better with his rehab and X X Y and Z, right? and and Diggs then as an answer to that essentially put YouTube videos out showing his rehab process from last year. The Cowboys are positioning themselves to get off of Trevon Digs. And this is not me personally saying we need to move off of Trevor. This is not a personal thing. This is me predicting what’s about to happen with our team based off of the tea leaves, bro. Based off the tea leaves. And the tea leaves are telling us Trevon Diggs will not be a Dallas Cowboy for the rest of his career. He will end up probably playing this season um if he plays at all, but I highly doubt we see him play in the Cowboys uniform in 2026. And he is losing $500,000 from his base salary for not rehabbing at the team facility enough. So that lets you know right there that whatever Trevon Diggs decided to do as far as his rehab goes, the team was not in lock step with him. the team was not on board with the decision he was making and this to me just reveals larger deficit between Trevon Diggs and the Dallas Cowboys as an organization. Man, uh Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News reports the Cowboys will enforce the deescalator in Diggs contract that stipulated he participated in 84.375% of the offseason program at the team facility. Thus, Diggs’ base salary would go down from 9 million to 8.5 million for 2025. the team had the option of not enforcing the clause and Dig is believed to be the first Cowboys player to see his base salary lowered because of it. Bro, that is huge. He is the first, not only the first star, the first Cowboys player to receive that deescalator to for that for them to activate that on. Diggs is as good as gone. Diggs is as good as gone in Dallas. I’m sorry to say this again. This is nothing against Trevon Diggs, bro. This is nothing against you, bro, but this is just being real. And I’m sure you probably feel this a little bit, too. You probably like, “Damn.” And then once you find out you’re the only one that did this to you, you really gonna be like, “Damn, damn.” So, wow, that’s nuts to me. And that is something that people should be conversating about more than even the TJ Watt contract in my opinion because that is a much much bigger deal, bro. But let me know what you think about this stuff down in the comments below. But we’ve kind of been talking about the dig story all off seasonason. And ever since somebody just got like what $30.1 million, one of them corners out there got like 30 Sauce Gardner. They’re not going to be able to afford to keep Don and Diggs. And you’re seeing them pretty much make their choice right now. But let me know what you think about all this stuff down in the comments below. I’ll see you guys on the next call, texting me, asking me. Y’all usually check on me. Listen, listen, listen, listen. I’m still in boys. Hey, I’m still in boys.

  1. they literally told us this would happen … if he’s not there he’s getting salary reduction this shouldn’t come as a surprise to those fans & Trevon himself honestly .. 😂 we heard AOC tell us this way back when we all was going back n forth about where & how he rehabs.

  2. AOC…im glad you realize and tell these fans what's the deal. Micah wants to set the market…the agent wants the best and top money he can get off the best players. Why would he let his player take less money. Got damn these fans dont fuckn get it

  3. People dont understand that these deals go on behind the scenes for weeks or even months, and that all these other players getting deals on other teams are thought about well in advance of the numbers offered by either the front office or the player themself. That number is pretty much non-negotiable. It's the guaranteed money – that and bonuses and all that ticky-tacky stuff – that takes time to hammer out. Micah's gonna get $42M no doubt.
The real question is how much of that is gonna be guaranteed now?
That question could hold things up longer because of TJ, but make no mistake – Micah IS gonna get paid!

  4. Yes bro in the end no one party is solely to blame, it just is what it is. One thing ill concentrate on is being thankful that we sign all our best guys in the end!

  5. You mean micha agent wasn’t never going to take less than 42 mil a year. The agent is the problem, they want that highest paid on their front page. I say wait it out until micha fires his agent.

  6. Yes…guys need to find new hobbies rather than worry all off-season about what the Cowboys are doing. And yes, we can't stand Jerry and Stephen, but we know it's business as usual. It'll get worked out.

  7. If Micha likes the deal and really wants it he needs to tell his greedy ass agent he wants it or to kick rocks n get nothing.

  8. Honestly that's why Dallas waited because he wants to put Micah in the middle of the 2 top edge rusher and Diggs making room for Micha Parsons

  9. Hey we need to talk when you doin your call show s I no the reason why Micah is not getting paid yet everyone wasting there. time wondering when they don't no wtf they talking about 🤣 be patient you been tryna tell them for the longest 😅 . I'ma die hard fan of the cowboys ever since Tom Landry was the coach

  10. Bruh y'all(Draining the Sack!) TJ Watt, Myles Garrett, Max Crosby with These Contract Extension cords!(Honestly Micah Parsons might Need to Fire his Agent!) & Accept What you Think 🤔 Is Fair for(Micah Parsons,)

  11. If I were Shooty, I would call Diggs into my Office for a MAN TO MAN Talk.
Just to see where his head is. Because in my opinion, he’s acting Childish. “Not training with his Team and shit”
This is the time of the season for TEAM BUILDING, TEAM CAMARADERIE. FRIENDSHIP.
And he hasn’t been there for Any Of That!
HOW THE HELL ARE YOUR TEAMMATES SUPPOSED TO TRUST YOU? Especially The Rookies.
    I like Diggs. A LOT. He’s a great Talent.
BUT I DON’T WANT THAT NEGATIVE SPOILED ASS BULL SHIT IN MY LOCKER ROOM!!
    GROW UP!

  12. mikey talked to the media about Diggs and the new leader said he had to get on him then he told Undertaker that they paid DAK and CD and Osa before him talking consistency NO team friendly deal because of the agent 😂 as the new leader he needs to get to know guys he been playing with by showing up to OTA and not participating but stand around talking to Jerry and when we lose in the playoffs DAK will be the scapegoat and mikey will disappear again DC4L

  13. I hear you and you are absolutely 100% correct about Micah. The problem I have in Micah and all these other athletes need to remember the agents work for them. The athletes need to remember that 😊

  14. I suspected Trevon was gone when Jerry first reacted to his rehab. Then they drafted Shavon. I think he is gone as well. Thought they were gonna swap Trevon for Ramsey!

  15. People it's a flex for certain players to be the highest paid. So if Micah getting paid after Garrett and Watts guaranteed him as being the highest paid non QB. He will be getting 42 a season.
