But guys, hope everyone’s doing well. We got the St. Louis Cardinals headed into Arizona to play the Diamondbacks. We are back from the MLB All-Star break and this is the first game between these two teams. Uh the Diamondbacks, man, it’s it’s been a disappointing first half of the season. I I don’t think a lot of people are talking about it. You know, this is a Diamondback scene that I had high hopes for. I think they’re a fun team. I love their lineup. I think they have some solid pieces in that starting rotation, but the problem has been the bullpen. Um this is one of the worst bullpens in the league. And for those reasons, and I would say exactly for that reason is why this team is what, three games under 500? Yeah, three games under 500. It It sucks, man. It sucks. I feel like there’s a lot of, like I said, a lot of great talent on this Diamondbacks team, but, you know, they will be up in the first five innings, the first six innings, the first seven innings, and you’ll think you’ll be all good. You think you’re on your way to go cash a Diamondbacks ticket, you’re pumped, you’re feeling good, you’re high-fiving your boys, and then you check your phone, and it’s in the it’s in the eighth inning, and you realize the Diamondbacks blew another lead, and you’re like, “What the hell? Why did I bet on this Diamondbacks team?” So, when it comes to the Diamondbacks, bro, like I I honestly have a rule with the Diamondbacks, and I I will only take them first five. I will only take them first five until they show me something different. Betting full game Diamondbacks money lines, you’re asking for it. You are absolutely asking for it. I’ve been hurt by this Diamondbacks bullpen multiple times so far this season, and we got a whole other half of the season. So, that’s kind of the way I’ve been attacking um the Dbacks. And then on the other hand, you got the Cardinals who, you know, the Cardinals have been a decent team this season. 51 and 46 straight up on the season, but they’re just a completely different team away from St. Louis. It’s St. Louis. I love taking the Cardinals. I’m all over always all over the Cardinals when they’re at home. But on the road, typically typically a team that I like to stay away from. Um, when look when we look at the pitching match up here, looks like we got Palante on the mound for the Cards and then Mel Kelly on the mound for the Dbacks. you know, Palante 449 erra. He’s probably coming off his worst start of the season. Um, he he faced the Nationals, pitched six innings, allowed eight hits in seven earned runs. He also allowed two bombs in that game. So, a really bad start for Andre Palante there. And then Merrick Kelly’s been been up and down, but honestly has been one of the more reliable guys for this Dbacks rotation. I’m having a little bit troubles picking a winner in this one. I really am. You know, I kind of want to take the Cardinals and just fade this Dbacks bullpin and get the Cardinals out plus money, but like I said, taking the Cardinals on the road this season just hasn’t been pretty. And so, I’m going to take an over. I’m going to take an over. I’m not the biggest Andre Palante guy. Like I said, he’s coming off a start where he just gave up 700 runs. I think the Diamondbacks offense will be able to get after him early in this one. And then, do I have to give you the explanation on the Dback’s bullpen again? You’ve probably heard me enough this video talk about the Dbacks bullpen. I think the Cardinals will be able to get some runs off Melo Kelly and then once that Dbacks bullpen gets activated, I think that’s when the floodgates open. So, I think there’s going to be a higher scoring game. I’m going to be on the over picking a side in this one. It’s just I’m just not feeling either side really. I’m just not feeling either side.
