NBA LIVE! Golden State Warriors vs Phoenix Suns | July 19, 2025 | Warriors vs Suns | 2K

They are great at rebounding the basketball. Oh, yes they are. I mean, it’ll be a battle down low. Boxing out is vital and second chance points may just decide this game. All right, check it out. Golden State’s opening lineup. Curry and Pods make up the back court. Then there’s Draymond Green. Then it’s Buddy Heel. And it’s Jerome in a power forward to the inside. And that one’s good. Green. Draymond Green will pick his spots on the interior. He can read a defense and he understands when to attack. And keeping us updated from the sideline, Alli Leforce. I caught up with the head coach of the Suns. And no surprise, Steph Curry was the topic of conversation on how they’ll defend Steph. Coach laughed. Is there a way? I mean, this guy is not just a shooter. Steph’s ball handling, his passing, it’s what makes him an all-time great. It’s always a pleasure to watch Steph Curry and we get another chance to tonight guys. Great work Ally. Thanks. Green the pass to Jerome. Hey. A little over a minute gone here in the first quarter. Oh, a clear foul there on the miss shot. So, he’ll get a pair at the line. All right, Doris. What’s kind of an unsung stat you appreciate about the Suns lineup? Wow, they are so gifted offensively. So, I’d have to say very good at getting to the free throw line. That’s important. Very good at baiting defenders and putting your opponent into the bonus. That’s big. Attacking into coverage. They get to spend plenty of time at the free throw line. So, it’s an underrated advantage. BA Both good from the line that time. This is about the last guy you want to send to the stripe right now. They keep fouling him and he keeps making them. Don outside. Back to Booker. Williams with the screen. Booker good. I love this approach. Getting him involved early and it’s already paying off. They know that if this guy goes off, their chances of winning rise exponentially. Curry gets the bucket. Curry understands how to take a hit, prepares for it, and makes the necessary adjustment. Booker against Curry, and Booker gets double team. Done. The pass to Booker. takes it inside. Oh, he nails that one. Three for four now. Oh, terrific body control. Booker gets hit on the drive. Stays on balance to complete the play. Curry passes to Green. Now he pass to Jerome. Just five on the clock and Booker pulls it down. Boy, a miss like that will drive any scorer crazy, especially with the defender giving a cushion. Williams finds Green. Here’s Booker. His fourth make in five tries. Solid start for him. This guy has so many shots up his sleeve. Devin Booker loves to go with that floater when it’s presented to him. Green with a screen on Brooks. Here’s Heel on the mark with the 15-footer. And you got to defend better than that. I mean, that’s a good look for him. That’s not coming with the right mentality. The defender neither closes the space nor challenges the shot. That’s frustrating as a coach, boy. Now, here’s Booker. Give him eight. Don outside. Pass to Williams. Don outside. The Suns need to get off a shot. The 17-footer. Williams misses. The Warriors have gone three of four. Off to a nice start. And the basket by Curry. Curry’s gotten his second bucket. Stephen Curry a threelevel scorer gets a chippy right there. Dun outside. Brooks outside. Pass to Dun. Inside. Here’s Booker. Brooks right side. Here’s Booker. Goes back up. Oh, Green with a block. A valuable dogged defender. Draymond Green doing his thing. Jerome no good. The Suns trailing. Green in the post. He’s covered by Curry. And it’s Green missing. Outside PJMski. Green. A screen. Lets it fly. Curry. That’s good. Curry’s got six. Just smooth execution of the pick and roll. Curry has great understanding and a ton of success running this. Here’s Booker. Give him eight from outside the ark. Offensive rebound outside for Brooks. Drills it from deep. And he’s much more comfortable shooting off a pass. Brooks with a nice shot. And Curry’s got the ball here for the Golden State Warriors. Outside PJsky outside Green Jerome passes to Curry. Green with a screen on Booker. Lets it go and he knocks the jumper down. Give him eight points. Now I tell you, it is a thing of beauty watching Steph Curry shoot jumpers in unbelievable feel and touch. Now here’s Williams. Homemade baskets yet. And that one’s good for Brooks. He’s consistent from out there, especially when you give him that kind of room. The Warriors have got six of eight shots to go outside. Fires the three. Curry’s shot is off. Phoenix has gone two for three from outside the arc. Brooks with it. Six points for him and unable to get the go-ahead bucket there. Booker against Curry. Pass to Jerome outside. Pajki to the middle. Here’s Jerome. Green. A screen. Takes a three. Jerome no good. Phoenix is shooting the rock around 46% so far. Well, Grant, if you talk about consistent top level scorers, Devin Booker is near the top of that list. Yeah. And going back to the 1718 season, Devin has averaged at least 25 points every year. Book can create his own shot and finish. It’s hard finding guys who can do both. So, it’s the Warriors now after the basket by Phoenix on the other end. Back to Green. Healed on the wing. Green a screen. Healed against Brooks. Golden State needs to get off a shot. Here’s Pimsky. And the Warriors miss again. The Suns leading. Don outside. Pass to Green. Down low. Here’s Booker and he scores it. now five of nine from the field. I love that Deon Booker isn’t afraid to mix things up on the offensive end trying to score inside and does just that. Outside heel with the ball and stolen by Williams. Brooks against heel. Now here’s Brooks. Not a lot of room and he banks in the layup. And now a six-point Suns lead. And just as tough as they come, Dylan Brooks battling for two points. And Steve Kerr calls timeout here. We might see him looking to make some tweaks to the strategy here. They’re looking to do something to stop this run. They have to get back on track. Really needs to settle his guys down right now and get them refocused. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat up here. Heat. Heat. Here’s Post. Green covering pass to Moody. Down to five on the shot clock to end the run. And it’s Phoenix with the rebound. Boy, the offense has been on point. They have great timing and great communication. So hard to get stops against them. A moment to hear from Alli Leforce. Well guys, the Suns are going for it. Allstar guard Devin Booker said, “Everybody here is on the same page. We’re in win now mode. We want excellence. We know it’s not going to be easy, but when you give up that much, we’re trying to win this year and years to come. Brian, this front office has been impressive. They are all in. Ally, thank you. And it’s Green missing. Warriors trail by nine. Pass to Jerome to the paint. Jackson Davis with the bucket. And they may have talked about shot selection coming into this. Phoenix has gone three of six shooting from beyond the arc. And here’s Richards. Now Allen. And so he draws the foul headed to the line to shoot a pair. And one of the game’s best shooters. Doris Grayson Allen can really stretch the floor for you. VA. presence on this particular roster so significant because of what they can do around him. Yes, you have to stay connected to him on the perimeter because he can flat beat you from distance, but you also can’t foul him. He is consistent at the free throw line and he’s very capable off the bounce. Grayson Allen is a more well-rounded player than he’s given credit for. Big and he makes a first. Santos has checked in for the Warriors. Got to get it. Here we go. Big reel. Let’s get it. Get it. Good. Good. And he can’t hit the second. Warriors trail by eight. outside booty. Here’s Jerome. Jackson Davis screen. He shoots it. Jerome no good. This has not been his best quarter. And you know what? They keep calling his number and they’re simply trying to get him out of this funk. They’ve controlled the paint so far. That’s been the difference. I know it’s early, but you have got to like the dominance down low right now. They are playing bully basketball. Here’s Jerome coming off a Suns make pass to post. This one for three. The rebound by Allen. Given his range, you’d expect him to capitalize on that open to the inside and he dunks it down. And early on they’ve been on a tear just getting whatever they want offensively. Well, what I love is the game plan has been solid from the opening tip and guys are making their shots. That’s critical. Jerome on the wing. Allen defending. Pass to Santos. Gets the trifecta. Got to fight harder to get over those screens. You know, we see this all the time. You’re basically as a defender hoping the man misses rather than putting in the work to get over screens. Here’s Igdaro. Here’s Jerome. Green covering pass to Santos. Here’s Jerome. Doubled by O’Neal. Here’s Santos and the Warriors with another three. Boy, that’s just great passing out of the double team. They had him bottled up, but he manages to create an easy basket out of all that pressure. Now, here’s Green 43. He drops it from range. Green’s got five points. That’s how you up the antie. Come right back at him. And you would expect nothing less from these two. Taking pride and making plays. And so it’s the Phoenix Suns. They have a nice cushion at the end of the quarter. Their work from distance has been impressive and it’s put them in this lead right now. More NBA on 2K Sports right after this. And so far through one quarter, it’s been a lopsided game. We’ll see if that changes here in the second. And a chance for just a second to check out the scoring breakdown for the Suns. Well, we’re in the era of the three-point basket. So, if you want to win games in this league, you have to connect from deep, and they have been thus far. I think the other thing they’ve done a great job of is making their presence felt inside, converting tons of paint opportunities. They’ve got Nick Richards. Grayson Allen is out there with Devin Booker. Then it’s Royce O’Neal. And it’s Gadaro in at the fourth. So, that’s the lineup on the floor for the Suns. Up top, Curry. Booker defending. Curry shot is off. Phoenix leading by nine. It’s stolen by Curry. Curry draws the double. Pass to Jackson Davis. Now Moody. Allen defending. Curry with it. Puts up a deep three. Jackson Davis. And he dumps it. What a pass to set him up. Playing from behind. It’s amazing. He chose to dunk with that high a difficulty rating. Yeah, no question. That was a stellar move with plenty of swagger. And Booker has got the ball here for Phoenix. Here’s Igdaro. Pass to Allen. It’s deflected now. Moody. Still no points. Excellent e there from Booker. Boy, nine times out of 10 that’s going in. I’m sure he surprised himself with the miss. A minute and a half gone in the second quarter. Allen finds Booker. Shot clock at six. Ooh, against inside resistance. Booker still good. Putting up points is what Devin Booker does best. And right now he is showing out. Booker against Curry. Pass to Jackson Davis. Now here’s Moody. And he’s going for the oop here. And here’s Curry. Here’s Post covered by Richards. Now Jackson Davis. Here’s Curry. Oh, Curry just weaving his way through traffic. Still knocks it in. Getting enough shots in close to play inside out. Allen outside. Outside. Booker shoots over Curry again. The Sun’s good for two. Booker making it look easy into mid-range. Warriors trail by nine. Pass to Jackson Davis. Back to Curry. A deep three. It’s good. Curry with a long range bomb. Well, Doris, for a while the amount of three-pointers seem to grow exponentially. I think it’s plateaued now. You know, BA, I’m not sure I agree that it’s plateaued. What we do know unequivocally is these organizations have defined how to be the most efficient basketball team. And each and every year, we’re setting records in that category. They’re just getting smart about the kinds of shots you want and when. We’re seeing more shots at the rim. And we’re still heavily emphasizing the three-point line. Phoenix leading by six. Just under three and a half minutes played here in the second quarter. Pass to Allen. Now Richards. They double him with Curry. And wrestling for it there, but no one has possession. Will have a jump ball. And here’s Booker. He’s covered by Curry. Two on the clock. He hits the back iron and sinks it. Booker’s got six here in the quarter. This guy reads situations so well and he knows how to execute. Driving to the basket. Deflected to the middle. Here’s Richards. Oh, there’s a killer two hand slam. slams it down with two hands. Man, they’re really getting aggressive now. Outside. Moody pass to Curry. Lets it go from deep. O’Neal pulls it in. He is just so deadly from out there. You expect that to fall. The floater. That won’t go for him. Now 0 for two. Warriors trail by 10. Back to Moody. Here’s Curry from about 19 to the wing right side. Santos offensive rebound and post gets it to go. I love his tenacity. Extra possessions, second chance points. That’s winning basketball. Pass to Richards. Booker with it. Warriors with the rebound and stolen by Booker. In deep. Booker gets it to go. That’s just superior balance from the crafty guard. If you allow Devin Booker to get close, he’s going to draw your contact. Phoenix shooting their third free throw shot of the game. Number one, Gavin Booker. One shot. That free throw good from Booker. Drafted as a 19-year-old back in 2015 by the Suns. Devin Booker has a special connection with Phoenix doors ba. They absolutely love Devin Booker in the Valley of the Sun. He’s been with the Suns his entire career and basically it’s a fan base that has watched this young man grow up. And when you think over the long history of this organization, when you mention the best players in team history, there is no doubt he is part of that conversation. Oh, Booker shot goes despite the contact. Well, a guard has got to come with physical intensity on the interior and Devin Booker does just that. Outside Pajki and stolen by Green in transition. Here come the Suns. Booker good. They’re really in control on both ends of the floor right now. forcing turnovers and finding easy points while the other guys struggle to keep up. And Steve Kerr calls timeout here. He wants to review the game plan. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Warriors trail by 15. Green the pass to Heel outside. Curry. Green with a screen on Booker. The three from Curry and it’s Phoenix with the rebound. Williams has got his fourth rebound in this one to the paint. Deflects the pass and it goes out of bounds. That one off Green just a millisecond late. So close to coming up with a steal there. Absolutely appreciate the effort though. He really went after it. So close. Outside Booker. Pass to Williams. Here’s Brooks. And he was fouled while in the act of shooting. So he’ll take two free throws. It’s going to go on Draymond Green. Well, Brooks is one hardworking man. He runs into a foul and still gets a shot off. Two shots. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. And he knocks down the first one. You have to respect Brook’s approach to the game. He’s always looking for little ways to improve and wants every year to be his best. Let’s get it. Get it. So after making the first, he goes one for two. Warriors trail by 16 looking to win the run. And the foul is called. He missed it. So he’s got a couple of free throws coming his way. And it’s going to go on Devin Booker. Well, from long range or from point blank range, Steph Curry is a marksman. It’s his first trip to the line. First one falls for him. And that one goes in two from the line that time. And so it’s Green who brings up the ball for the Phoenix Suns inside and there’s Booker. That one’s good on the assist from Green and just totally relentless, only increasing the intensity level. One thing I enjoy is watching players who don’t pay attention to the score. You lock in on the moment and play the right way. Curry passes to Heel. Here’s Jerome. Shot clock at five. Oo, great D that time from Dun. Got to credit the defense. They found a way to stop him and that’s never an easy task. The kick out to Williams. Booker for three. Jerome grabs the miss. And this is exactly who you want taking that shot. He just missed it. drills it. He’s now one for eight in this one. Credit their discipline. They’ve been working for high percentage shots. Brooks against heel outside. Green shoots over Curry. Rebounded by Green. Green’s got four rebounds in the game. Pass to Curry. The three is up. Curry rises up and hits the three. And ideally, you want to chase Stephen Curry off the three-point line, but folks, it is not as easy as you might think. And let’s swing it over to the sideline and hear from Ally. Jimmy Butler’s such an allaround player. He said, “I don’t need to be a 40. My role is to impact winning. I just control what I can control in the end. Play the right way, stay aggressive, and do whatever it takes to get my team the win.” And Brian, he is good at his job. Well, playoff Jimmy is a real thing whether he’ll admit it or not. And Steve Kerr calls timeout here. He wants to make sure everybody’s on the same page. T-shirts going to be coming your way. The loudest fan. Who’s ready for t-shirt time? on your feet and get louder. Here comes the t-shirt. Get up out of your seats, everybody. The Suns making a switch here. Allen’s checked in. The Warriors also with a sub. Moody’s checked in. Warriors trail by 11. Now here’s Pachki yet to see a basket. And here’s healed. Knocks it loose and stolen by Williams. Pass to Allen. Here’s the three. Gets rebounded by Golden State. But Jimky’s got four rebounds now. He from outside knocks down the triple. He’s got five points. You see how eager He is to catch and release. That is what you call a sure extraordinaire. Back to Green. Lets the three fly. Green’s feeling it at the arc. Both teams are starting to find a rhythm here. And this is partly what the game has become, right? A matter of dueling three-point opportunities. Pass to Moody. Now Pajimski launches it. Another three for Golden State. You simply must play better defense than that. This guy is too good from distance. The Suns lead by eight. Allen outside. And here’s Brooks. Williams. A screen on Heel. Three-pointer. Brooks. It’s rebounded by Golden State. Outside heel. Pass to Pajimsky. 156 left to play in the first half of basketball. Three-pointer and it’s in. Only two for nine though. The fine from Buddy Hill. I’d like to see him do that more. Spread the ball around. Phoenix has gotten five of 11 threes to drop so far in this game. Outside Green releases and Brooks for the basket on the assist from Green. He’s got 11. That pass had to be thrown not only in the right spot but at the right time. Outside booty ro on the wing and he gets it to go. Hitting off the back of the rim. Jerome’s got seven points here in the quarter. Well, nine times out of 10 that probably is a miss, but somehow he finds a way. Allen finds Brooks. Williams with the screen. Shoots from the block. Oo, coming through again. Shooting five for seven. Now offensively, Brooks can be just relentless. Constantly looking for chances to get his team points. Jerome passes to Moody. 30 seconds left in the second quarter. Here’s Jerome. Rebounded by Dunn. Dun’s got four rebounds now. Pass to Green. Fires the three. He can’t get that one to fall. Devin Booker, he’s feeling it tonight. He’s been the driving force for Phoenix. 25 points in counting for him. They have relied heavily on his offense. More 2K action in just a moment. Hello. Hey. Hey. And we played through the first half. Plenty of basketball left in this one. Boy, we’re seeing a tremendous game from Devin Booker. Yeah, tonight he’s done a great job of slashing through the lane and finishing. And part of that has to do with his mindset. He has been looking to push the action at every opportunity and he has been in attack mode all night. Warriors trail by seven on the floor for the Warriors. Curry and Pods make up the back court. Then it’s Buddy Heel. Then there’s Draymond Green. And it’s Jerome in at the fourman position. Brooks has got the ball here for the Suns. At one point they led by 16 for three. Booker. And that comes off the assist by Green. Green’s got his fifth assist in this one. How about that? Impressive. Impressive range from Devin Booker. Tremendous touch. Back to Curry. Launches it from deep. Rebounded by Dunn. Dun’s got his fifth rebound of this one. Outside. Booker. Pass to Dun beyond the arc. And again, it’s Phoenix from deep. How about the vision from Devin Booker? Yes, he can score it, but that’s a pretty pass. Warriors trail by 13. Curry passes to Green outside. Curry. Oh, it’s blocked by Williams. And so it looks like the Warriors will retain possession here. And it’s time to take another look at that powerful block. Yeah, just some terrific effort there. And you know, the whole team will get an energy boost off a block like that one. Just five to shoot. Green. The pass to Jerome. Done with a steel. And they’re on the break. And he hammers it home to polish off the break. And they’re really rolling right now. That lead keeps getting bigger and bigger. And one of the things that’s helped that is they’re getting it done on both ends. Terrific focus on offense and they’re locked in defensively. Curry. Curry with another miss and it’s Phoenix’s ball. It’s been eight unanswered for them. Outside Green. Pass to Booker. Rebounded by Green. Warriors trail by 15. Go. Here’s Jerome. Brooks defending. Don with a steal. Brooks outside down low. Now here’s Booker. Here’s Dunn. That three is off the mark. Jerome passes to Curry. outside heel pass to Curry launches a three. Drains the triple. Curry’s got 21 now. Very difficult to keep the ball out of Stephen Curry’s hands because of all his movement. He can shoot from anywhere. And right now the defense has no answer. Green with the ball. Give him eight. 11 ft out. No good. Warriors trail by 12. Here’s Jerome. Outside heel back to Jerome. Oh, plenty of contact on that shot. Officials call the foul and he’ll take two free throws now. for Golden State. Jerome, two shots. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. And the first one at the line is good. and he makes both free throws. The Suns lead by 10 on the wing. Green. Hook loose. Oh, what a fast break for the Warriors. Pass to Green outside. Pajki. Back to Green. Curry with it. Booker defending. Here’s Jerome. 11 points in the game. The lead now in single digits. Jerome’s gotten four this quarter. Pick works well there, but the defense left a lot to be desired. It takes incredible effort to stay connected to the hip of the offensive player. You’ve got to want to work. Brooks left side outside for Booker. Green for three once again off the mark by Phoenix. Warriors trail by eight. Outside for Jimky to the paint Jerome. That’s good. Jerome’s got 15 points. Terrific energy at both ends to sustain this run. They found their composure on both ends of the floor and that is what triggered this run. Williams a screen on heel. Back to Williams and stolen by Green. Three on three and it’s heel that time on the assist from Green. And now just a four-point Phoenix lead. Phoenix calls timeout. Things just aren’t going their way. He clearly wants to talk it over. Well, night in and night out, sometimes it’s a battle of runs. Who has the most? Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Watch it to win the drought. Oh, Green with a strong take and they’re still in front, but they desperately needed that hoop to sustain the advantage. Curry passes to Jerome. It’s Pajki on the wing. Heels from outside. He buries it from three. Heels got five points in the quarter. They’ve been aggressive during this run, but they’ve also played under control. I think the communication on offense is working at every level right now. What a run for this group. Brooks drives in. That is now his seventh field goal in 10 attempts. Impressive. Yeah, NOVA guys love to see Brooks get in a groove like this. It gets the whole team fired up. Pass to Pajimsky. Now here’s Curry. Hooker defending. Jerome passes to Heel. Clock at six. over Brooks and it’s healed missing. Phoenix leading by five. Here’s Booker and it’s Phoenix with another Booker and a little bit of cat and now smart enough to know when it’s better to pull up. Pass to Jerome. Back to Curry. Here’s Jerome and he drops in the layup off the glass. Jerome’s got 17. The defense couldn’t collapse quickly enough. And so it’s Green who brings up the ball for the Phoenix Suns. At one point they led by 16. got four rebounds now. Here’s Pajki and he’ll draw the foul. He’ll head to the line for two. I don’t mind that. I mean, they met him at the rim and temporarily prevented the points. They had a moment now to quickly take a look at the offensive approach for the Suns. Well, how about the work they’ve done from the in between area? They are making it rain and the storm ain’t over yet. Well, I also noticed guys how much they move the ball in this one. selfless, willing to pass the ball to a teammate with a better look. And he drops a first. O’Neal, he’s checked in for Dunn. And Golden State also making a switch. Moody’s checked in for heel. It’s both from the stripe. Here’s Brooks. 17 points in the game. Outside Williams outside O’Neal. The three on target from range. O’Neal’s got his first bucket of the game and he’s on the board for three. Green. The pass to Moody. Oh, and he took a hard foul on the shot. So, he’ll head to the line to shoot a pair. It’s going to be on Dylan Brooks. First trip to the free throw line for him in this one. shooting two. No good on the free throw. And he’s good on the second. Phoenix leading by five outside. Green outside. Booker uses the glass on the layup. Booker’s got seven points for the quarter. I tell you, he’s making everything he looks at tonight. He should be their number one option on every possession. Pass to Moody. Oh, and he got fouled on his way up. He’ll head to the line to shoot two. The officials were right on top of that one. He shot two free throws in the game, made one and miss one. Two shots. shooting two and he knocks down the first one. That one misses. Phoenix leading by six. Brooks with it now. Guarded by Moody. And it’s Brooks missing. That’s the shot they wanted. It just didn’t fall over. I think expect them to go back to it because that’s the kind of shot this offense is designed to generate. There’s a screen. Five to shoot. Jerome and it’s all from three-point range for Phoenix. They’ve got eight of 14 attempts to go in the second half so far. Booker’s shot is good. Well, you love the lethal scoring ability off the dribble. Booker putting extraordinary pressure on the defense. Outside Pajki and the foul is called. He missed it. So, he’s got a couple of free throws coming his way. 15k. Two shots. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. The first free throw is good. Richards has checked in for Phoenix. Allen comes in for Booker. one from the line that time and it’s Green with the ball for Phoenix. At one point they led by 16. Brooks outside O’Neal. Shot clock at six. And here’s Green from the arc. Pitfalls. Five for 11 in the game. Yeah. And Green has tons of confidence in his three-point shot. And it was on display right there as he knocked it down. Pass to Pajimski. Now here’s Jackson Davis. Here’s Jerome. Brooks defending. Here’s Jerome. 17 points in the game. There’s the drive. He drains it as the shot clock ticks down. Jerome’s got 10 points in just the second half. The Suns lead by eight. To the middle. Here’s Richards. Throws it down and the official calls a foul. It may be a three-point play. It’s going to go on Moses Moody. Phoenix shooting their sixth attempt at the charity stripe in the game. And the Warriors making a change here. Santos has checked in. Got to get it. Let’s get it. Get it. Get it. Warriors trail by 11. Jackson Davis’s screen pass to post. And here’s Jackson Davis. Here’s Santos beyond the ark. Rebounded by Green. And the defense got away with one there. I mean, that’s the shot he typically makes. And he hits it and gets hacked. A three-point chance here if he can convert. And that’s just an allaround talent there. I mean, Green is dependable at finding his open teammates. Phoenix shooting their seventh free throw attempt here at the line for Phoenix. One shot. Now Moody remaining pass to Jackson Davis and Richards comes to help back to Jerome. Five on the clock and it’s Phoenix with a rebound outside O’Neal. A minute 31 left in the third quarter for three. Allen and the rebound goes to the Warriors. Jerome’s got six rebounds in the game. Pass to Moody. Moody gets one inside. A defensive lapse. Can’t give him that kind of position. One of your keys defensively is do your work early and push him out of his comfort zone. Now here’s Green over Moody once again off the mark by Phoenix. Listen, offensively they’re very comfortable with him taking that shot. It’s a good look under very little pressure. He just can’t convert. Here’s Jerome covered by Richards. Moody from outside. Oh, Moody deadly from there. Well, that’s somebody who sees the whole floor and delivers it to the perfect wide open shooter. Pass to Richards. Now Allen. Richards with a screen. Allen. The pass to Green. and he drops that one in. Green’s got seven points here in the corner. Using the pick there, Green saw the opening and let it fly. Here’s Jerome. Allen defending. Here’s Jerome inside. And that one is hammered home. Well, he’s such a good athlete for a center. It’s how he’s able to succeed despite being one of the smallest fives in the NBA. And so it’s Phoenix with a 9-point cushion at the end of the quarter. Their key to consistency has been their dominance in the paint. They’ve been the more physical team. We’ll be right back with you shortly. And let’s take this opportunity to show you our State Farm assist of the game. Woo! I’m fired up to see this dish one more time. It’s always great to see your two guards share the wealth. You love the unselfishness, finding the best look, and it doesn’t matter who’s taking it. with three quarters behind us. Let’s see what this fourth period holds in store. And Booker’s got the ball here for Phoenix. At one point they led by 16. Devin Booker out there with Grayson Allen. Then there’s Nick Richards. Then it’s Royce O’Neal. And it’s Igodaro in at the power forward position. So that’s the lineup on the floor for the Suns. He put a little flare on that one. Yes, he did. Man, he’s a strong finisher, huh? Warriors trail by 11. Outside Curry 43 and it’s Phoenix with the rebound. Now here’s O’Neal out left to the wing. Allen outside left side Booker wide open look the rebound by Post. Boy, he’ll usually knock it down if he’s left that wide open. Just comes up empty. Jackson Davis’s screen. And here’s Curry for three. Drills it from deep. Curry’s got 24 points. I the supreme confidence from Steph Curry to attempt that shot, let alone make it. Impossible to measure this guy’s range. Booker for three. Oh, Booker with the triple. Both teams are starting to find a rhythm here. And this is partly what the game has become, right? A matter of dueling three-point opportunities to the inside and he takes the fantastic lead pass up strong for the slam. Whether he’s improvising or whether he’s running set plays, Steph Curry is an absolute force. Now here’s Allen. Moody defends outside. Booker 19-footer. The rebound by Post. Post has got seven rebounds in the game. Moody with it now. Guarded by Booker. Moody misses. The Suns lead by nine. O’Neal passes to Allen. Now Booker. He’s covered by Curry. Curry against Booker on the take. Booker softly drops in the floater. Booker’s got 39. Well, the defense has got to be willing to guard the jumper. And for Devin Booker, that opens up the drive. Curry surveys. Jackson Davis’s screen. Fires for three. The shot misses. He didn’t make them pay for that weak defense, but they just can’t rely on him to miss those kind of shots. Booker good and trying to put the game away. He’s been nailed all evening and he hasn’t forced much tonight. I love the efficiency he’s giving to them. Down low pass to Jackson Davis. Curry against Booker and Curry is good for three. Curry’s got 27. Well, if you offer no resistance defensively, he’s going to knock down the three. It’s really that simple, guys. Richards with a screen to the paint and there’s the slam dunk to finish it off. Instinctual playmaker. Booker very crafty in distributing to his teammates. And here’s Curry. Pass to Santos. Moody on the wing. Allen defending. Curry. No good. Phoenix leading by 12. Allen finds Booker. Oh, there’s the alley. Out of bounds. It’ll be Warriors ball. Listen, turnovers happen. You’ve got to move on to the next play. Brooks, he’s checked in for Phoenix. Pajimky’s checked in for the Warriors. Here’s Curry. Puts up a deep three. The rebound by Allen. The Suns have gotten five of their seven shots to fall in this final quarter. Here’s O’Neal. Shots blocked. Pass to Curry. Pajimsky with it. fires from deep and again it’s the Warriors missing. I don’t know if he’s tired or what, but he is definitely holding back a little bit and he has to step his game up right now. Now Brooks inside. Oh, it’s stolen. And the Warriors pushing it up now. Here’s Post. Oh, the lead pass was in the perfect spot to set up the layup. And that nice steel was able to get their break going in a hurry. It amazes me how quickly you can change ends. You’ve got to be prepared to sprint the floor. Booker against Curry with a nine-footer and Brooks with a basket on the assist from Booker. Brooks has got 19 points. A throwback wing. Dylan Brooks is very comfortable working down low. Curry against Booker. It’s tipped out of bounds. It’ll be Phoenix’s ball. So, both teams making some changes here. And Booker’s got the ball here for the Phoenix Suns. At one point they led by 16. Pass to Williams. Here’s Fleming. And here’s Brooks. Six to shoot over Moody. And it’s Brooks missing. That’s a shot he makes with regularity, but that time the defense up to the challenge. No good there. That would have cut it to single digits. The Suns lead by 12. It’s Booker on the wing and he got the whistle on the way up. So, he’ll be headed to the line for a pair. It’s on Stephen Curry. Yeah, there’s an activity level and a skill level that makes Devin Booker problematic on the offensive end. He dares defenders to get physical with him. And that one misses. Yeah, just an offensive machine. Booker generates points consistently night in and night out. Phoenix making a switch here. Dun’s checked in and Golden State also making a switch. Heels checked in. He hits the second from the line. Warriors trail by 13. Pass to Jerome. Green against Williams outside. Pajki outside. Heel. Six on the shot clock. The three ball and he drains it. A solid five for six now. Well, He always has the green light from behind the arc. This guy so efficient. Outside Green pass to Booker over Curry. Booker good. Booker’s got 44. You know, they barely needed other contributions. This lead has been built through his offense. Green. The pass to Curry. Stephen Curry. What a shot maker. I like that. Punch it inside. You usually end up with a good shot and or get fouled. Here’s Booker. The quick look. No good that time. Warriors trail by 10. Right side. Curry puts up a three. Another three for Golden State. They’re really employing a deep range initiative here in the fourth. And it’s working. It feels like they have worked their perimeter game to perfection. Swinging the ball, cashing in from the outside. What a performance. Hooker shot is good. And talk about payback. He hits the revenge triple. Oh, you love to see the competitive fire. A little bit of pride at stake. Pass to Jerome. up and in on the layup. Jerome’s got 12 points here in the second half. Doing what he can to help shrink the deficit, but it has to be a team effort. Here’s Booker and it’s Phoenix with another lightning quick release on that jumper. No one could get to Booker in time. outside for Jimky. Pass to Green. Here’s Jerome and he’ll draw the foul. He’ll head to the line for two Jerome. Two shots. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. And the first one at the line is good. He’s off on the second. Phoenix leading by nine. Here’s Brooks. Rebounded by Heield. The Warriors have gotten eight of 16 attempted shots to go here in the fourth. Pass to Green. Outside Pajimsky over Green. The shot by Pajimky. No good. Phoenix has gone two of two from outside so far in the fourth. And it’s Green missing. Warriors trail by nine. Lets a floater go. The shot by Pajimsky. No good. And Brooks has got the ball here for Phoenix. Lets it go from 11. And the shot is good. dropping in off the front of the rim. Brooks has got 21 points in the game. Trying to keep up with Brooks will wear you out. He gets one step ahead and pulls right up to shoot. And the three-pointer goes. And what an impact he’s making from beyond the arc. A big three-pointer to narrow this lead. That’s where the bulk of his offense has come from. And they’re going to need a few more of them before this one’s over. Three-pointer Brooks. That one’s good. Give the assist to Booker. Hooker’s got six assists in the game. Well, you got to at least honor Brook’s three-point shot if you’re the defense. I mean, he is more than capable of connecting. Booker against Curry outside heel. There’s the three. Good work defensively by Brooks. Grant wouldn’t be a bad idea here to slow it down. There coach is definitely looking for patience and execution. Green in the lane. I love it. What concentration Green taking the contact well and converting with confidence. Here’s Curry. And that’s good. Off the glass that time. Curry’s got 37. The Suns lead by 11. Nothing left to do but to watch the clock tick towards zero. Nice victory here for the Suns. They were the more accurate club and in the end that made the difference. Grant BA, you have to love their strategy and even more you love the execution and even the opposing fans can’t deny this was a sensational game for Deon Booker. The scoring effort from him unreal carrying this team. I mean, he was amazing tonight. Clock at six. tries again. Oh, connects again and that gives him 51. Making it look easy. 6 seconds separating the shot and game clocks. The three from Curry. Williams grabs the board. Boy, this offense has been dynamic and diversified. Just everyone sharing the ball and sharing the load makes you difficult to defend. So, no problem for Phoenix as they get the win. A competitive game. You have to feel like this crowd gave him a little extra edge. Yeah, they really fed off the energy. You saw their activity level go up. Just a tremendous performance.
