I just completed a piece inspired by the David Freese game. My style is inspired by Bauhaus, art deco, cubism.. Let me know your thoughts regardless of what you think!

    The shoes. hat and jersey are amazing.

    I kinda want a bat in his hand. Long and thin. Maybe just make the orange/brown on the right thin and coming out of the hand instead of that whole side and fill with blue around it?

    I think maybe it would be better if there was one ball that had enough marking to be thought of immediately as the ball. I like the direction line on your two balls a lot, but just one of them and bigger and some red on the white to immediately say “this is the baseball”.

    The big black circle under his legs makes my childish brain think he has huge balls.

    It took me a bit to realize the right is your signature. Your signature on the right out weighs the 2011 on the left. Maybe balance it more by adding Game 6 or something? And put the trophy on that side since it belongs with 2011 and not you?

    This is all just initial impressions. Sometimes things like this can be useful but if this is not what you are looking for, please disregard. My kid is a budding artist and shoves things in front of me and says what does this make you think and appreciates raw immediate feedback like this. Maybe he is just being polite putting up with me though.

  21. This is awesome. Your art style is great. Someone with more power than me needs to put you in touch with Topps. These would be an amazing baseball card.

  35. This should be hanging up in a bar in Ballpark Village. Or Chaim Bloom’s house to remind him of the glory he needs to rekindle.

  42. You could do a montage of four and add Yadi, Albert and Wainwright. Mount all four together on a poster size frame. Make bank.

  43. I hope i don’t offend you when I say that could be a really cool playing card. Make the number in the bottom right corner larger and repeat it in the top right corner. Face cards would be harder. Jack Buck seems pretty obvious. I’ll leave it to reddit-cardinals to vote queen and king. If you made a joker card please do the rally squirrel.
