If you have and you’re new to our channel, welcome. I can assure you we’re going to be uh making you some hefty amounts of coin handover fist. And it’s going to start here for this matchup between the Miami Marlins and the Kansas City Royals. Now, there’s no starter confirmed for the Kansas City Royals at the time this video is being recorded. The Miami Marlins look like they’re going to be rolling with Cal Quantrol. And Quantrol, you know, has been a solid option for the Miami Marlins for much of the season. Even though on the surface he still has a 5.62 erra, he’s had just a couple of bumpy outings. Now, last time that we saw Quantrol, he did get roughed up. He gave up six runs, five earned on seven hits over five innings of work. Um, and I said just really had a a rough start there, but there’s been a lot of pitchers that have struggled a great American and the Cincinnati Reds have been a solid team against right-handed pitching for much of the season, but prior to that, I mean, Quantrol was a guy that was going into the fifth inning. He wasn’t giving up a whole lot of damage, and more importantly for him, the Marlins were backing him up and just winning a lot of his starts. So, I think that Quantro could be a solid option here against a Royals team that, yeah, I may have backed on on Friday against Sandy Alcantra, but that’s because I don’t love the form that Sandy Alcantra is in. At the end of the day, the Kansas City Royals are still a team that’s 24th in baseball in batting average, or I should say tied for 25th in baseball in the month of July against right-handed pitching. They’re only hitting .224. They have a low strikeout rate at 17.7%, but the team OPS numbers are still bottom 10. the isolated power numbers are below league average. So, I don’t love this Kansas City Royals, you know, match up against Cal Quantrol. And say what you want about the Miami Marlins and, you know, just how inconsistent they’ve been at times. But, if Quantrol can have a decent enough start, he hands the ball off to a Miami bullpen that actually leads baseball in ERA in the month of July so far. A 1.37 staff erra for the Miami Marlins in July. Now, like I said, it’d be interesting to see who the uh who the uh the Royals send out here. If it is a lefty, maybe you look at a first five under because the Marlins haven’t been great against lefties either. But I think that any damage that could be done to the Royals in this game could come off of the Royals bullpen, which in the month of July has a 4.61 staff erra. That’s just outside the 10 highest in baseball. So, I’m going to roll with the Marlins here. I think Quantrol can provide some solid innings. I think the Miami Bats can, you know, get to this this Royals bullpen and in the end I think the Marlins get the job done at home.
