SCWARB SLAM: Kyle Schwarber’s keeping the All-Star heat alive!

Kyle and Bryce having a chat. I’d assume that’s two pretty good guys to talk hitting about. I would think so. Tell you what, Kyle gets out in front of one here. This place is going to go nuts, isn’t it? One for seven this year with the bases loaded. He’s two. homered yesterday. MVP of the All-Star game. Seven career grand slams. Stone helping. One ball and no strikes. It’s a bullpen that has an ERA of over five. They have the 14th worst ERA in the American League. There’s only 15 teams, right? That’s right. Huh. Let’s see if we can’t get him to the 15 spot right here. Slider dropped in. It’s one and one. He’s going to get a fast ball at some point. What do you think? I think he’s probably going to keep throwing that slider. You think so? I I don’t think he wants to throw it there. And a high fly ball to deep right field going back his way out toward the wall. Gone. Grand slam. Kyle Schwarber. Eighth career grand slam. And the Phillies have taken the lead. And this place is going crazy. Well, I I said he probably going to keep throwing him that slider, but he tried to sneak a piece of cheese by him and that uh Kyle just said, “No, no, no, no, no. I’ll handle that.” Boy, the way Lamont Weey Jr. went after that thing, too. I didn’t know. And now Harper takes on the outside corner. How about this though? We haven’t had many of these this year, Johnny. No, but he almost slipped. Yeah, that wouldn’t have been good. That’s where he sits in Major League Baseball, Johnny. Yeah, that’s uh I mean that it’s can’t can’t stop watching his at bats. The big one, Kyle Schwarber’s eighth career grand slam. And it was a towering shot.
