Between the Kansas City Royals and the Miami Marlins, the Kansas City Royals right now, they are fourth in the AL Central here with a record of 47 and 51. And while these Miami Marlins playing very good baseball here, especially rolling into the All-Star break and they picked off right where they left off in yesterday’s ball game, winning that game 8-7 in extra innings there. Yes, the Kansas City Royals putting up seven runs in that one. The Kansas City Royals will have Michael Waka back on the mound. He’s 4-9 this season with an erra just under four, sitting at a 3.74 here on 106 innings of work. He has 84 strikeouts here. clearly under a strikeout per inning, but he has 33 walks on the season. For the Miami Marlins, they will have Kell Quantrill back on the mound. He’s 3 and8 this season. His erra, it’s over a five, sitting at a 5.62 here on 36 innings of work. He only has 23 strikeouts. Nothing overpowering here for Cal, but you look at this Miami Marlins team, especially at home. Perfect 500 here. They’re 24 and 24 on the season. They’re 6-4 in their last 10 games. obviously that All-Star break, but like I said, they haven’t missed a beat here as they scored eight runs over the Kansas City Royals and won that game in extra innings. This is strictly a bounceback game with Michael Wakona on the mound. I like the bats and I like what I saw out of that first game, especially after the All-Star game in this Kansas City Royals in producing runs. That has been their biggest issue producing runs as they are 29th in all of MLB baseball in runs per game, only averaging 3.4 runs per game. While the Miami Marlins, they’re averaging 4.3. I think it’s a bounceback game here with Waka on the mound. I like the Kansas City Royals here. Money line over the Miami Marlins for our free play.
