Doc said, “Chris, forget about point forward. Yiannis was gonna be the point guard.” I thought, “Hey, let’s let’s play Giannis at the point guard spot.” When I brought it up with our coaches, they thought I had lost my mind. And when I brought up with Giannis, he thought I had lost my mind. Point forward. I’m the first guy to ever utter those words. Came out of my mouth first in 1984. Okay, but my point is this. In 16 regular season games without Dame Lillard, Giannis averaged pretty much eight assists a game. If he goes into it with that mindset, he could boost that up to close to double digits in assist. And if he does that, we’re talking about averaging a triple double. That would have to elevate him from number three MVP discussion to top two. I would think I love Giannis’s ability to put pressure on defenses at that position. You got to make some decisions. And if you surround Giannis with a roster of guys that can knock down shots, attack close out, make plays in space, you guys are going to have a hard time.   1. How could Bucks coaches think its crazy to guve the ball to Giannis? So i guess they are "coaching" somone they don't even know or they are just being disrespectful to Giannis?

    Giannis is the main ball handler and he's been the main ball handler for yrs. Giannis was the main ball handler until Doc came and removed the ball before his hand. Even with Khris and Jrue on the team Giannis was still the one running the offense.

  2. They already let Giannis dominate the ball too much. J Kidd tried it with Giannis. Anthony & KPJ are good points that can score off ball & run an offense. We’re good

  4. I wouldn't want to do that if I were doc, Giannis is about to get old. Using him more would deplete him more, man. I think you just really need to surround him with good set of people.

  7. We tried this already for the bucks his first six seasons then realized in the playoffs that it wasn't working. When coach bud made him catch the ball in the paint instead of running it up full court we actually won a championship. This is also why dame and giannas never meshed bc giannas was handling the ball and refusing to pass it to dame. Then when giannas wasn't in the lineup and sat dame had a huge monster game. I don't see it working out is giannas gonna shoot 3s while kuzma attacks the paint? 😂 He literally dribbles the ball and passes it the last second when time runs out or people are forcing him into tough spots = bad pass or turnover.
