I’ve been a STM for a few seasons now and never have I seen such a huge difference in the game plans. Not only does plan A get FOUR weekend games but they also get Leafs and Panthers from our division.

Plan D is much more boring without any major rivals and only two weekend games.

Have I just not been paying attention or is this strange to anyone else?

  1. I have plan B which has Stammer and Sergy’s second return to Tampa. Rest is Jersey, Dallas, Flames, Islanders, Canadiens, Sabres, Wings, and Penguins

It’s decent, but it would be nice to have a panthers game in the plan

  2. Caps, Blackhawks, Kraken and Pens that’s a damn solid lineup. Understand the rival point but that’s a solid score

  3. It’s all in the eye of the beholder and understand that the grass is always greener. Yes it’s 4 weekend games, but the opponents on those games aren’t that desirable in plan A. Also, a Tuesday against San Jose and a Tuesday against Minnesota are about as uninteresting as it gets. Plan D has Chicago, Pittsburgh, MTL and Detroit on weeknights, with two of those being Thursday nights.

  4. I feel like these plans have just gotten worse. Originally they had themes. Like 1 had opening night, 1 had weekends, 1 had rivals, 1 had big names. They switched it without any input from the fans and told me to go fuck myself when I asked if I could have the plan that matched my original choice (I always had the opener one).

On the long list of reasons why I canceled my tickets, though the biggest is that I found I could buy most of my games on the market for less than I was paying for them. Which seems bizarre to me. Shouldn’t I get a better deal for being a loyal fan instead of getting fucked?

I also saw weekend games as general negative though
