  1. I wonder if Pete being out has anything to do with all that dirt getting into his eye from yesterday’s game.

Doubt they would have done a planned off day right after the break.

  2. The Royals have the second worst scoring offense in baseball, just behind the possibly worst team of all time Colorado Rockies.

They have a team wRC+ with RISP of 70 (30th) compared to the Cubs team wRC+ with RISP of 124 (2nd).

Fully expect baseball to baseball and get either blown out or have a shootout at least one of these games.

  3. Since Pete hasn’t really been out many games this year, who would we expect to take CF? My money would have been on Brujan but hes obviously struggling at the plate.

  4. Turner still has no business starting in this lineup. Would much rather give a prospect his ABs, which I hope they do post-deadline after the dust settles. I get not wanting to deflate Long’s value now, for example l

  5. I’m cool letting Craig fuck around every once in a while. Wish we had any offensive depth to really let him cook

  6. Why not give pca a day off when Boyd or shota is starting instead of opener/brown

  7. There’s no way PCA has the day off. We’ve just had the All-Star break, that would make no sense and he’s not even DH’ing. Must be injured…

Oh god, bruised knee, just take mine ffs!

  8. I’m surprised they didn’t put Happ in CF and Seiya in LF to be honest. Maybe they’re hoping Happ and Tucker can cover any deficiencies from Seiya playing in CF?

  9. Glad to see Turner back in the lineup. my god

How do we still not have a starter to replace taillon? Assads turned into mark prior, and we have nobody else in our system who is major league ready other than Ben brown?
