back toward the middle and Turner makes the sliding play, gets to his feet, swings it to first in time. What a play by Trey Turner. He just robbed Bregman of a base hit. You know, we talk about Trey slides, how graceful he is and he needed that grace on this play. Look how quickly he pops up. Transfer to the hand and a perfect throw to Bryce with the purple spikes. Pop up shallow right. Horwitz out. Second baseman again. Nikki G. This time he splits the first baseman and the right fielder Reynolds goes right in between them and makes the basket catch on the run. What a play by Steven Quad in the corner. Two down as the gold glover ran it down and stole extra bases away from catcher Alex Jackson. Line drive. Look out. And look what I caught. This will wake you up a little bit. Pull it right back over the top of your cap. Two pitch line. A cut by Machado. Turns it into two. Yes, the glacius. Quickly over to cover. Double play. That’ll work. Caught shot by Ramirez but right at Machado who fires to Aacius for the double play. Second DP turn by the Padres’s in the game. High drive. It’s backhanded by Rokio and a one hop throw to Santana just in time to get him. Well, if he you thought he caught it, he let you know quickly. He knew he didn’t. So, he got up quickly to make the throw across and a good one at that. So, a nice play. Oh, nice play by Meyer. Leaping and snatching what would have been a base hit headed for right field off the bat of Kepler. One down in the fifth for Paul SK and a little bunt. Third baseman bare hands. Hayes throws and gets him. Hebrian Hayes pounces on that and gets Meadows. And there’s sometimes if you’re a bunter, you bunt the ball and you think, “Well, there’s a base hit.” You know, he’s a lefty, so he gets out of the box quickly. He put down a pretty good bunt. Hayes was well off the line. That one’s hit to left center field and a sliding catch by Langford. Why Langford taking a book, taking a page out of the Wdog’s book. Little robbery of his own. This one was not going to be a homer, but very well could have been extra bases. Fam is there. What an effort from Tommy Fam. Big defense right there. A great catch by Fam. Really. And Adele hits a chopper to third. Grabbed by Batty who’s coming home with an Alvarez with a tag on Trout and he is out. Well, Batty made a nice play. Jumped for it and got the tag down and he made the nice throw just Yep. He didn’t even get to the plate. Nope. That’s just a nice play by Brett. Nice also agility by Alvarez after the catch. Bouncing ball towards shortstop. Flagged down by Turner. spins, throws one hopper, and it’s in time to get Bregman. He’s taken care of him twice tonight. Drills this one out towards center field. That is back to wall. Suzuki able to make the catch. Nice grab by Seya. Juan coming in, going out. Jose bucket. Ramirez hangs on to finish the game. That’s a tough play, but he was playing shortstop on this ball, so he’s been there before. It’s over his left shoulder and all of a sudden he stays with it and makes a beautiful catch to end this ball game. Fly ball right field. Tucker and up against the wall. He makes the catch. Nice grab, Kyle Tucker. I mean, that is not an easy play. squeezing up against the padding and able to haul it in. Tough play. Sally spin and throw in time to get half. Best ever. Look at him. It doesn’t matter where it is either. Look at his spin. He’s off balance, but he makes a perfect throw. Down the line. Walker headed toward the corner. It’s 350 to the wall. Leaps up and he makes a terrific catch. Jordan Walker up against the padding takes away a fly ball from Brentton Doyle and two out in the inning. Nacho Alvarez diving stop. Olsen on the other end takes it off the bounce. Tremendous effort. Ramos got Nacho right here. We talk about third base being his natural position. Altuve first pitch swinging deep to left field. Guriel all the way to the wall and Lordis has got it. Lordis Guriel going up against that left field wall to take extra bases away from Altuve. But he hits this ball high in the air. Fouled territory down the right field line. Clemens chasing near the wall. Castro’s there and Willie will make the catch and tumble up onto the wall and into the net. What a wonderful play by Willie Castro in foul territory. Ended up wrapped in that net like a like a salmon. Young smothers, pops up onto first. He has been a busy man tonight. Nice play there once again by Cole Young. Yeah, we’ve been seeing more and more of this from Cole Young. Ground ball shorts stop. Ortiz throws to first in time. Wow, what a play from Joey Ortiz. Takes a run off the board and gets the speedy Julio Rodriguez. Steered at third by Tommy Ballgame. Wow. Tommy Edmond somehow gets the webbing of that glove on that baby. A one-two. Kareah hits a high fly ball to center field. Outman at the wall. He jumps and he makes a catch. James Outman with a game saving and home run robbing catch. He clubs this one to deep left center field. Lawrence Butler on the run. He’s still going back. Slowing at the track. He leaps and he brought it back. Lawrence Butler brought the baseball back in his first start in center field in quite some time. He more than makes up for the production. Bringing the baseball back. Wow. Law tracked this thing all the way. And poor old Higgy fought the law and the law won.
