The wildcard is so wildly open for grabs that any team not in position can have a simple 5 game winning streak and suddenly be in contention. It’s like the angels are disrespecting us fans by not wanting to really contend 😂 like man it’s right there, 2 series wins and you’re in it. Just over 2 months of baseball left, times running out. And for those negative ninnies saying “when have the angels been in playoff contention” read the first sentence once again

The issue is their first and second picks in the draft. They could have gotten Ethan Holliday #1 and Quentin Young #2. Two young players that have a dad and an uncle that were good players in the bigs. Next year pick two more young players 1 and 2. Then on the third and fourth year pick college bats and college pitchers. That’s how you when Championships son.
I check game scores on my app. It is uncanny how many times I see a big lead early and can’t help that creeping thought from setting in, “they’ll find a way to blow it.” That probability of win statistic. Is there also a statistic that tracks blown wins when the probability (at any point in the game was over 90%)? Angels would HAVE to lead in that one.
