Shohei Ohtani HOMERS and STRIKES OUT 3 batters in same game! | 大谷翔平ハイライト

And it’s Show Otani taking the ball for his sixth start and his return from Tommy John surgery. Otani not given up a run in eight innings since he carved through the Giants three scoreless innings his final outing of the first half. He’s on rehab. Joe. Yeah, but these stats are like he is at an elite level and he is. Swing and a miss as he back foots that breaking pitch. First of the night for Otai. One ball hit over 100 miles an hour in all the other starts, the five starts here tonight. This one looks a lot more like his sweeper. 99 gets a fast ball by Flemman. Second strike out of this first inning. Today’s starting pitcher for the Dodgers has hit 34 home runs this year. He’s hit two his last two games and knocked in five. Superman hitting the ball in the air to center field. The starting pitcher. It’s a monster home run. He is out of this world. Show Otani. One of a kind alltime 35 for the year. Gets on. Shoi goes deep. He used to rely on the nine-hole hitter to get on so he could hit with some people on base. Well, Muki got on with the walk and Show took care of it in a big way. Dodgers take the lead and the 40ome,000 fans in attendance today are going to have a story they can tell for as long as they live. Bows had a game where Shi Otani, the legendary Show Otani, started the game and then in the bottom of the first inning, hit a mammoth home run to dead center field. These are not the last 45,000 people that will have that story. I think we’re going to get to watch it a little bit more often. That was awesome. Otani’s O2 poked to right field. Hernandez runs back. He’s got it. Here’s his 2-2. It’s a fast ball to get Bader. Slowed him down with the breaking ball and then beats him with the fast ball. This is a welllocated fast ball. He’s been pulling it a little bit to that side, but gets it to the outer half. Beats him. Lofts his ball to right field. Hernandez a long run. He will get there and the Twins strain the pair. So many amazing things we get to see from show Otanu when we watch him three hours a day and then a milliona amazing things that we don’t see behind the scenes. That by the way was a splitter which he’s hardly thrown. There’s one story I heard about yesterday. He was staying loose in the weight room between at bats in front of the mirror going through his pitching delivery. He’s worked really hard on that delivery to make it cleaner, more compact. shot to second. Kim’s got it. So, he’s in the mirror. He’s going through his delivery, does it a few times, he stops, heads back out to the dugout, puts his helmet on, and crushes a home run. And I’m sure that there there are dozens of those stories per day if we were to follow him around that would remind us how different this whole thing is. A one-1 pitch to Trevor Lick. Grounded to second. Kim backto back assists. Little bit more traffic he’s pitching in than he’s used to. Otani’s 01 lifted to right field. Hernandez goes back with room. That’ll do it for Otani tonight. A leadoff home run from Buckton. Nothing from there.

  1. Ohtani must make that team feel like their playing little league again. Your best hitter is also out there as your pitcher because nobody else takes baseball that seriously 😂😂

  2. Every starting pitcher in the pre-DH National League who ever homered in a game, most likely also struck out at least 3 batters. Tom Glavine only ever hit 1 home run, but I bet he struck out 3 batters in that same game.

  3. But he also struck out three times himself. I can't wait for these guys to get it together for fall. Perfect time to work everything out and lick their wounds then look out!

  4. Shohei is the main character of MLB! Straight outta manga with his cute looks, good height, and good sportsmanship…. This man has it all!! ❤ From a girl fan of Shohei and now the Dodgers… And baseball too now 😅
