The Dallas Cowboys DAY 1 Training Camp Highlights ARE ELECTRIC… George Pickens FIRST LOOK

Ladies and gentlemen, another day, actually the first day of Dallas Cowboys training camp practice is officially underway right now as we speak. CD Lamb, George Pickkins, as well as many others are gearing up to have their first practice and we’re going to cover everything you need to know from the news, the notes, the highlights, the observations, everything. Okay. However, before we dive into the video, there’s a list of names at the top of your screen right now. I want to give credit where credit is due. And that is with all of the Dallas Cowboy media members out there who work so hard each and every single day to get these clips out for us. None of these clips are mine. I’m not at practice. It’s all theirs. So, go give them a follow. I guarantee you, you will not regret it. You can see all these clips before I even post these videos. Go follow them real quickly. With that being said, let’s dive into some updates about today’s practice. Another big piece of news, Micah Parson’s, man, Brian Shanheimimer. Super excited having him in the building on day one working with the team, building chemistry. And one of my favorite things about this Dallas Cowboys team coming into this season is this edge rush, this defensive end room is terrifying. When you look at this roster right now, you add Dante Fowler from Washington. You still have obviously Micah Parsons. You also Sam Williams will be back healthy this season. Second round pick Marshall Neland continuing to develop from last year as a second round draft pick. You bring in Donovan E from Boston College, another second round draft pick, right? It doesn’t end there. Payeyton Turner, a former first round pick coming over here to Dallas. And then from there, right, that’s six guys coming off the edge that can rotate in. You also side James Houston, a guy who had a great rookie season, slowed down ever since, only playing 13 games, but this is a guy that also can mix in. We saw the Philadelphia Eagles kind of give you the blueprint of how to win a Super Bowl. Cowboys are following the blueprint. They have endless amounts of edge depth. Also have a little bit of footage from Dak Prescott, Joe Milton, and a bunch of other guys going through worms. You see Jake Ferguson looks like he’s a lot more in shape, a little bit lighter. But another guy that I want to mention really quickly, Mazy Smith. Last year was a nose tackle. Played a lot of one technique, a lot of zero technique for this Dallas Cowboys team. But going into this season, he is also a guy who looks like he shed a little bit of weight. Looks a lot more in shape for the defensive tackle position, which means expect some one technique, but even three technique as well. I think that’s going to be good for Mazy Smith. But look for a guy named Jay Toya, a rookie. Um, he is a guy that I think could come in here and be a player right away at the zero technique position. More of a one tech guy as well. I think he can be really good. Um, so that is another major update point that I needed to share with you guys. All right, here’s a little bit of the offensive line going through some drills. The offensive line, in my opinion, is going to have to prove a lot this off season and this on season as well, right? In terms of training camp, preseason, and regular season with a guy like Zack Martin now officially retired from the NFL, they’re going to be relying upon Tyler Smith, a left guard drafted in the first round a couple years ago. Also Tyler Booker, a first round pick this season. You also have Tyler Gutton, Cooper BB, and then you have Terence Steel, right? So, this offensive line has some work to do. Last season when you look at the Dallas Cowboys offensive line, they ranked 30th in the NFL in yards per carry on one of the worst teams in the NFL, right? But also, they actually were pretty damn good when it came to protecting Dak Prescott, ranking within the top 10 in sacks allowed per game. This group right here has a lot to prove this season. They have to open up lanes for the running backs, Javvante Williams, Miles Sanders, Jaden Blue, Phil Mafa, Duce Vaughn, whoever else may be potentially on this roster, right? But if this offensive line can continue to build onto what they were already doing uh on passing downs last year and build onto that running game, this team again, I think could be my dark horse to make it to the Super Bowl. Maybe I’m a little bit too high on them, but I do believe a little bit of development. This team is good, man. Here’s a clip from John Machada uh posting a little bit about the wide receivers. We see uh George Pickkins hell of a grab here. Look at this. Look at the extension. The one thing I love about George Pickkins, the catch radius from this guy is insane. He makes 50/50 balls, 7030 balls, and now you are forced to run two deep safeties because you can’t leave one-on-one covered with George and one-on-one covered with Cidi, which like I said before should help develop this uh running game room, right? The the the yards per carry, it should be able to help that a ton. Here’s a nice catch, CD. You notice the only ball that was a little bit off was CD Lambs. And again, the body control, the catch radius. Man, I’m so excited to see these guys in action come week one. Here’s a nice little update here. We see Trayvon Diggs and Dearon Over Sean out here working on the side field, getting some work in. Um, now obviously these are both guys that they expect to be healthy at some point this season. Um, I believe that number zero here on your screen is one of the best linebackers in football when he’s healthy. Um, dude, maybe I’m a little bit more high in them. Maybe I’m just high on the Cowboys this season, but I do think that this team overall has potential to win football games, man. If they can stay healthy and get healthy, this team is is going to be deadly, man. You got Siobhan Revel, Trayvon Diggs, uh, Overshon, you got bunch of guys that are trying to get healthy right now defensively that all could be play major roles uh, for this defense. All right, before we get any further into this video, guys, as you watch Deck Prescott hit George Pickins, the building that connection right here, uh, we see the guy right here’s face. Anyway, um, but before we get any further into this video, guys, do me a big favor. Hit that like button if you want more Dallas Cowboys film, uh, highlights, news, notes, updates from not only are we going to cover training camp, but preseason football games. So stay tuned, hit the like button, join the family, turn on post notifications, and get excited because I think the year, man. This is the year to prove it. Now, one thing we noticed um from practice today was you see here, number 11, Micah Parsons, uh participating, right? That that’s what they said he was going to be participating. Now, obviously, he’s going to take it a little bit easier than some of these other guys. He’s not going all out. He’s not, you know, doing all these drills 100% speed. The one thing he doesn’t want to do is get injured. Uh he wants to ensure that a contract is coming for him. Um and I believe that that’s probably what we’ll see. I mean, number 94 here. I believe that’s Marshon Neland. Holy unit. Absolute unit of a human being. You see Donovan E, the rookie wearing number 41. Interesting number for Donovan. Um again, when I do my predictions, I like to look at two things. offensive line and defensive line. Probably the most important positions in football, getting pressure and protecting your quarterback. I think the Cowboys have great at both sides of the ball at getting to the quarterback and protecting their quarterback. Dude, I I couldn’t be more excited about it this year. So, here’s the first play of practice where they were going in on 11on 11s. They’re not fully tackling yet. Pads are not on. Not that point of practice, right? So, this first play, they’re going to hand it off to Javvante Williams. Um, they’re in the single back set. Hand off to this left side. Cuts up the field and probably goes down after maybe a gain of two or three yards. Looks like 57 comes up and makes a tackle. Jack Sandborn. Um, looks like he ultimately would have made that play. So, good first rep here by the defense. Definitely standing in strong and getting a stop here on the first carry of or first play of training camp. All right, here’s another play here. But guess what? Joe Milton rotates into the game. a lot of or not the game but the practice. A lot of people saying Joe Milton’s not a real threat. He’s not this, he’s not that. Joe Milton is a threat. He’s gonna make Dak Prescott play better. That’s all I’m saying, right? Look at this play again. Single back set this time working off the play action as he drops back. He scans the the field, rotates a little bit to his left. This guy can make throws off balance, but look at this one down the field. Great placement. Wide receiver just I mean guys, this is a perfectly placed ball where nobody but his wide receiver can get it. I know what you guys are saying. He’s out of bounds. Yes, wide receivers’s got to be more have more spatial awareness of where he is. He get can get his feet in easily right there. But when you talk about Joe Milton being a passer, this guy has the arm and the accuracy to be a great player in the NFL. And if you’re Dak Prescott, you got to come out and ball this year, man. You do because I feel like Joe Milton is the actual first player as a backup that can compete, right? I mean, this is a dime. This is a dime of a throw. Add another really good play here. Dak Prescott under center. Also look in the background. Do you see Joe Milton? He is taking mental reps. This is exactly what you want to see, especially if you’re the backup quarterback or even backup. You can be a backup anything. Study what you’re supposed to be doing. Taking little practice snaps, mental reps in the back field. This time we hand it off to Gvonte Turpin who makes a great move. This guy’s got breakaway speed. Um you can just tell he will be a focal point in this offense. I know you have guys like Miles Sanders, Javvante, uh Javvante Williams, um Jaden Bloom, Phil Mafa, but Turpin, whether it’s wide receiver, running back, he will be on the football field because of how explosive he is after first contact or just when the ball’s in his hands. Here’s another play we need to show you again. Joe Milton under center. We’re going to work off this play action. Once again, it’s going to be a bootleg to that right side. Now, Joe Milton is a guy that can make plays on his leg. So right here as he is trying to do that, you got to make sure one thing, right? You protect the football. Okay? Slide when you got to slide, protect the football if you’re about to get hit. Either way, you got to be good at this because if you’re a runner and you can’t protect the football, you’re not going to play, right? So here we go. As he’s running, makes a couple of moves, makes a couple of guys miss open space. But right here, we get someone ripping the ball through. That looks like number 95, which is ultimately, I believe, and you guys can correct me if I’m wrong, Denzo Daxon. Um he is a guy they added I believe last year but makes a big time play on the ball here. Forces a little bit of a fumble. Again play probably would have been blown dead at some point soon. Um but again cannot lose the ball. Cannot lose the ball. Another great play here from the offense once again. We see Joe Molton in the background taking some mental reps here. We do see Phil Mafa I believe in the game here. Phil Mafa got some early carries. We saw a little bit of Miles Sanders and Javvante Williams splitting snaps with the first team. D spawn was in with the second team as well. But off this playaction fake, Dak quickly hit CD Lamb in a one-on-one matchup on this side of the field. Kyer Elon was in coverage. I didn’t get a great angle and we don’t get a great angle on what would have happened. Um, but it looks like CD gets up the field, makes a couple of guys miss an open space, and ultimately maybe would have gone far down the field. We don’t really know if this would have been a tackle or not right here when he gets the football. Not too sure at all, but Kyrie Lam, the former Buffalo Bill early round pick over here in uh Dallas, has been a kind of an X factor throughout mandatory mini camp and OTAAS this far, we’re hoping that can translate into training camp and he can continue to build on what he already has. But seeing Solomon Thomas all the way down here on a pass play, it’s kind of crazy. That that dude’s work ethic is one more play I’m going to cover for this practice. If you want a part two, which we can do, let me know in the comments. First thing we notice, priest snap motion here by CD Lamb. It looks like it could potentially be man covered with Donovan Wilson kind of rotating over here. But as we get this road to adjust, we realize let’s get this thing out quick to George Pickkins. Now he turns up the field, maybe can make a man miss there. But George Pickkins is going to be again huge in this offense alongside C Lamb. It’s going to open up so much more space for running uh lanes. I think it’s going to be huge for this offense. So let me know what you guys think. 1. Bro! Fowler was with the Cowboys for years man. He was in Washington because of Q and to get paid. But he is back FUCK THE COMMANDERS!

  2. Yeah(George Pickens) seeking a New Contract so He definitely Gonna advertise His skills This season Regardless (Honestly he's Gonna go Insane with This/O_Line) I've got Them winning The(NFC East Title easily)

  3. Dak has a lot of work to do, and he needs to prove if he's so damn good that he can win in the playoffs and make a run at a Superbowl! Not just show up and look and talk a good game, but DO SOMETHING worth all the praise that's piled on this mediocre QB!!! I say again, if he's so damn good, he'll win when it matters instead of using excuses!

  4. I hope the fans and media don’t make the stupid mistake of hyping Milton like they did with the kid that came from the 49ers. Dak is not going anywhere until he is ready to make a change. The smart thing that Milton needs to do is step back, learn from Dak and if he is good enough the door may open up to be a franchise QB if not at Dallas may be another team. Patience is virtue.

  5. If they can just stay off social media when they win, it's just 1 game it's 17 games they can celebrate when they go all the way, then and only then can they get online

  6. Steele really disappointed me last year I hope he picks it up, I also hope that Dak balls out and I hope our run game can dominate and get our pass game rolling…

Dak: 4600 passing yds, 42 passing yds, 6 picks, 250 rushing yds 4 TDs, CBPOY

  7. Let’s all calm down… we’ve seen this before.. during practice everyone looks good… I think we look great. But we have to produce on the field and beat these Eagles game 1!!

  9. So we gonna act like Dallas one we away from being legit? They key to beating them is running the ball at Micah Parsons he wants to do a podcast he dont wanna stop the run. Its been the way to beat them the last few years! How many game Diggs gonna play before he gets hurt? Lets not act like two teams from the division didn't just play in the nfc championship a game Dallas hasn't got to in 30 years. This why y'all be ready to jump off reunion tower come January. Unrealistic expectations
