MLB Highlights | Yankees vs. Blue Jays – July 22, 2025
Here’s Cody Bellinger and he lines one to right center field and that is going to get to the edge of the track. Lucas will cut it off into second is Bellinger. The 3-2 and he got it. Sherzer got him to chase that cutter and he strikes him out for out number one. the 3-2 and well hit to deep right field and there’s no doubt about it. A long home run for Jazz Chisum Jr. and the Yankees jump on top early. But Cody Bellinger jumped on a first pitch fast ball seeing the way he pitched Trent Gisham and Jazz Chisum got a bunch of fast balls as well. And this was right o out over the plate. Now Stan lifts a fly ball to right center. Addison Barger is there and that’s out number two. Fast ball and it’s hit sharply up the middle. A base hit. Springer will put the brakes on around second. A good swing and good contact there for Guerrero. and a swing and a miss. He gets Bette on three pitches for out number two. Got one there and he sends it to left and it’s down for a base hit. Here comes Springer around third and he’s in there safely with the Blue Jays first run of the night. An RBI single for Addison Barger and a swing and a miss. just stayed with that high fast ball and he gets Kirk. This is another well struck ball into the gap in right center and he’s done it again. He’s hit it to virtually the same spot and Bellinger has his second double of the night [Applause] and he got it. Perfectly located pitch to strike Stanton out. That’s a cold third strike, says home plate umpire Alex Tossy. Strike out number four for Sherzer and a three- up rebound. Top of the fourth. Hit high in the air to right field deep and it’s carrying and it’s gone. A home run for Cody Bellinger, number 18. And now three for three with three extra base hits here in this game. Cody Bellinger just went down and got this pitch. It almost looked like he was out front and flicked this ball out of the ballpark. It was a cutter bullpen in right field. I think they wanted to stay high with this pitch to see where the target was. bounced up the middle. Bulpi the flip for one and out at first. Boy, what a nice turn by Chisum at second. If it stands, it’s a pretty slick double play and a base hit for Barger into right center. Springer can jog home and it’s four to two. The second RBI single of the night for Addison Barger. Matt Chapman. He showed us Alex Bregman. That’s a fair ball down the line. Straw on his way to third. Getting away and he will score on an RBI double by Schneider to make it a one-run game. That was Davis Schneider stance down in the zone. George Springer lines the first pitch he sees into right. Schneider getting away. Throw to the plate. Not in time. And this game is tied. Swing and a miss. Another change up. Bobette turns on one and hits it down the left field line. A fair ball and he’s got himself a leadoff double. Sweep him away now. Got him. What a job by Justin Brule. Got Gisham. Got Bellinger. Put Judge on [Applause] high in the air deep right field and it is gone into the Yankee pen. Ben Rice turns on one and gives the Yankees the lead here in the top of the ninth. [Applause] Well, the mighty Yankees and their power bats have shown up here tonight. Chism in the first, Ballinger in the fifth [Applause] and a swing and a miss as Kirk strikes out. And the Yankees will win it. They flex their muscles here tonight. They hit the only three home runs in the game. Cody Bellinger had a big night. [Music]
Ben Rice played the hero for the New York Yankees, slugging a go-ahead solo home run in the 9th inning to secure the 5-4 victory over the AL East-leading Toronto Blue Jays.

A real closer would be nice
Why tf are you putting so many Yankees highlights, even though they might not have played that well in the game you could've given me more clips of the king George Springer
Hoffman should not be a closer
Yankees lost once and it's like the end of the world. Stupid.
Just keep throwing fastballs in a tie game in the ninth and sooner or later you will pay for it, boo jays baseball! Come get some!
Good try Jays fought to the end. It's still kind of disturbing that with the bases loaded there are like 4 other guys I'd want at the plate before Vladdy for the entire season.
It’s just one game, sure… and Jays still up 3 games in the division. But it’s not so much the result that’s concerning… as it is Vladdy failing to deliver bases loaded bottom of 2nd. Like 500M for this guy and he’s got 13 HR and 48 RBI in late July on a contending team? Vladdy is the Auston Matthews of the Jays. Gets paid top dollar and fails to deliver in the big moments on what he’s paid for – in Vladdy’s case, slugging. Unless Vladdy is Vladdy, Jays, like the Leafs, have no shot in the post season.
I liked the attepted come back by the Jays and then losing. Typical sports thing.
New York will pay dearly for this
Good fight Jays
Boooo. Win for NAZI Yanks
