And it’s going to start here with this matchup coming to us from Chase Field between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Houston Astros. The Diamondbacks sending out Brandon Fart in this one. I have seen Brandon Walter listed as the starter for the uh, the Houston Astros here. We’ll have to see if that ends up being the case. But uh like I said, we do know for sure is that it’s Brandon Faulk getting the nod for the uh the Arizona Diamondbacks here. And you know, while FO is coming off a strong start last time out, he’s actually coming off a back-to-back solid outings. You know, last time out it was seven innings of four hit shutout ball against the St. Louis Cardinals. Prior to that, it was eight innings of two-run ball against the San Diego Padres’s. It’s still hard for me to get a strong read on Brandon F considering, you know, he’s got a 3.71 RA at home this season, about a 273 opponent’s batting average, and still fought for the better part of, you know, the last couple seasons has not been a pitcher I can really feel like trusting at Chase Field to hold teams down, especially quality opponents like the Houston Astros, who did struggle for the better part of the, you know, the month of July going into the All-Star break and a little bit coming out of it. But we’ve seen Houston start to put some wins together. They beat up on Brian Woo in uh in in Sunday’s series finale against the Seattle Mariners. Got off to a strong start against Arizona on Monday. And you look at the Houston Astros, well, their numbers against right-handed pitching in the month of uh excuse me, in the last two weeks, including the All-Star break, haven’t necessarily been all that special. You know, they’re hitting just 231. Team OPS is bottom 10. The isolated power numbers haven’t been spectacular with a 26.6% strikeout rate. This is still a veteran lineup and we’ve seen Brandon F also get cranked at Chase Field at times this season. So, you know, prior to the seven shut out innings against St. Louis gave up four runs on six hits over six innings of work against the San Francisco Giants, what ended up being a loss. And his long career start against the Houston Astros back in September last season. It was in Houston though. F gave up four runs on eight hits, five strikeouts, gave up a home run as well in four and two/3 innings of work. And I just think that the Houston Astros have the edge here. Now, if it is Brandon Walter that gets the nod for the Houston Astros here. You know, the Arizona Diamondbacks have run hot and cold against left-handed pitching at times, but right now they’re kind of in one of those middle middle gray areas where they’re hitting 252. The team OPS numbers are league average across 147 plate appearances over the last two weeks. But I just feel like Houston can get the job done here. It’s a favorable price with the Houston Astros for me to fade Brandon F, who I’m still just not all the way in on. So, I’m going to roll with the Houston Astros in this one at the at the reasonable coin flip price and that’s going to be my free pick.
