[Music] 971 972 from the young guns to the old guys. We’ve got Kyle Hendris and the Angels plus 146. Frankie Montis and the Mets – 165 total of nine. So juice to the over at minus 125. Bdub. This one felt like Mets double result kind of had Mets double result written all over it. But then I’m like, is this going to I I just don’t know if I’m in the mood today. I’m not feeling well. I feel like I have a cold. My throat’s a little swollen. I don’t know if my heart can handle five shutout innings out of Kyle Hendricks again today. I just don’t think I could take it. So, I stayed away. But everything does say to me the Mets should win here. What do you think on this one? Well, you know, you have your Kyle Hendris. I have my Randy Vasquez, the worst pitcher in baseball. And like the guy like you look at you he loud like I don’t know se the the seven hits in five innings and they didn’t score a run. It’s like more power to you the guy. But this game I I think playing over and and I know Corby I’m going to steal his thunder. That’s not very fair. Corby’s going to play an over in some capacity I will say. And I I I that’s what I put out on the chart. I put out over nine. Uh none of these pitcher either one of these pitchers uh are any good. I’ve got uh Hendrickx 20% worse than average. Montas 13% worse than average and then a bullpin with the Angels who’s 24th in baseball. And that’s actually kind of gone up. I think they were 27th last week. Uh but what’s interesting and and I’ll talk about it more. I might might have a a play on the Angels here in the next few weeks is the Angels uh uh prowess offensively uh versus left-handed pitching. And there’s going to be a lot of baseball hipsters uh that are going to be mad at me about this, but they’re second in baseball. I know they’re not facing a a a lefty today. They’re facing Montes, who is still right-handed. Uh, but they’re 11th in baseball. So, I think that both offenses are capable here. The Mets have second in baseball versus right-handed pitching. So, I think over would be a a good idea here, Kyle. Yeah, it’s uh it’s an interesting spot here. Hrix, Montis, Corby, what do you think here? How do we fade? Is it is it safe to fade Kyle Hendricks? Cuz I just get my heart broken way too many. It’s so frustrating to watch this guy throw meatballs and then not just smack it around. What do you think on this one? Yeah, heartbreak is what I’m um I’m here for. Give me Kyle Hendricks 6 plus hits allowed. And the reason I’m playing it is because the number I’m getting at the end of that thing plus 131. I I mean, listen, if Kyle Hendricks somehow shoves, that’s fine. Um I see a guy whose strikeout prop is two and a half. His meatball percentage is like first in baseball. His stuff is awful. Um and yet it looks like he’s like attempting to go kind of deep in this game. Um I see 14 and a half pitching GS juice to minus 170. They’ve played some like pretty tough opponents in the last few days. So it wouldn’t surprise me if like uh the idea of trying to rest the bullpen if possible is like applicable. Kyle Hendrick’s kind of the guy who’s who’s willing to do that with some um he gets a lot of like first or second pitch outs. like you could see this going six innings potentially. Um if I mean he’s not getting strikeout stuff so his pitch count doesn’t get up that high that often. So I’m going to take the Kyle Hendricks over no six plus hits allowed. I just listen I I don’t care what he does. I’m not buying into it. I I think I could hit Kyle Hendricks. Uh so if I think I could I think the Mets can. So give me the six plus. I really think so too. It’s just uh all systems say that. For me, this does have an overwritten all over it. For purposes of the show, we’re locking in for Corby. Kyle Hendricks, six plus hits allowed at plus 131. God, that could be the first inning. Honestly, that could happen in the first inning. I’m not even joking. [Music] [Music]
