Seattle Kraken Lock In Kaapo Kakko for 3 Years 🏒
Seattle Kraken avoid arbitration with Cababo Kako and he gets a brand new three-year deal. You are Locked on Kraken, your daily podcast on the Seattle Kraken, part of the Locked On podcast network, your team every day. Hey Seattle hockey fans, welcome to another episode of Locked on Kraken, part of the Locked On podcast network. We bring you your favorite team, the Seattle Kraken, every single day. Erica L Ayala here, your host of Locked on Kraken, who will be in Seattle tomorrow. Come see me rough and tumble uh at 7:00 Pacific time. We’re recording an episode of Rough of Rough and Tumble. We’re recording an episode of Tempestagi Talk uh which is about the Seattle Storm. Uh but I am of course also a contributor over at CBS Sports and an accredited media member for Milano Cortina 2026. We already know uh that the German gentleman will be there. Uh who else from the Kraken will step up? Maybe I don’t know perhaps Capo Kako. Uh, of course he would be representing team Finland, but we know he will be representing the Seattle Kraken for the next 3 years. That’s right. A deal got done, avoided arbitration, and Capo Kako coming back to the Seattle Kraken for 3 years. This is what we heard in the press release. Getting a contract done with Capo was uh a top priority this summer, said Jason Bal. We knew quickly he’d be a big part of our team moving forward. He’s got size, skill, and tremendous playmaking ability and isn’t afraid of going to the net. I do think it is critical that that was pointed out. This is something that we know the Seattle Kraken team has been trying to do and now it just seems like it it is um foundational to what will happen um with the Seattle Kraken team or at least that’s what on paper or in theory in building this team we’re hearing. Uh the release goes on to say he fit in immediately with our group and we’re thrilled to have him under contract. So this is a three-year um 4.525 AAV uh through 2728. Now, Capo Kako, we acquired from a trade with the New York Rangers that sent Will Borggan over to the Blue Shirts. And uh 44 points for Capo Kako last season, 30 of those points with Seattle. The breakdown here, he got personal bests in assists, 30, power play goals, four, and posted the second most goals um um his second most goals, excuse me, power play points, uh second most goals, uh at 14, power play points at eight, game-winning goals, uh tied for two, and shots on goal with 117. Those are career numbers, so Capo versus Capo, so to speak. And um you know, I do think he was a good fit. I remember we talked about this on another episode. Someone said they didn’t like Capo Kako with Mattie Beneers. I completely disagree. I liked Capo Kako um with Mattie B. I hope that stays together. Even when I talked to John Chick, who’s our host of Locked on Rangers, just everything that John was saying, I was like, I think I kind of want him with Maddie. Um we’re still in 25, which is Year of Beneers. So I’m very curious to see if these guys stick together under Lane Lambert. I think they should, but I am not the head coach of the Seattle Kraken, though I do have strong opinions on the Seattle Kraken. Um, who among us, right? Who among us doesn’t? But, um, you know, I like this move. I’ve saw I I’ve seen, excuse me, some folks in the data analytics department say that this is a almost exactly the projection uh of what Capo’s worth is. And so avoiding arbitration but seemingly getting a fair deal uh for both sides. And so now it’s all about being able to deliver and um you know small sample size from Capo Kako. Obviously he was leaving a situation that seemed to no longer suit him. So um coming in with this deal done I hope this sets up Capo um and empowers him, inspires him to really lean into the hard parts of his game. And what do I mean by that? I mean getting to the net. I mean utilizing his size. He can be a fantastic playmaker. And in theory that could open up Mattie Beneers, but I want to see those two definitely play off of each other. Um I think I watch a lot of basketball. I cover basketball. And um you know I I would love to see like a give and go a little bit more between Matty B and and Capo Kako. You see that a lot in basketball, which is why I talk about it. You see it in hockey as well, but with players that have played together year for years usually, and they have that relationship that has built over time, unspoken, knowing where each other are going to be, uh, knowing where you like the puck. I think there’s potential here because both can play that selfless style of hockey and both can get to the net. Um, be great shooters in their own right and respect. So, um, I don’t know. We’ll see. I believe it was Schwarz, right, for a time with with those two. I I like this. I think it’s going to be good. I am excited to see, you know, how this is going to come into into fruition and and how the picture will um come together. Kaboko um you know I I think is a player that we have a lot of potential to to make him really work. 44 points was a careerhigh. um half of those or not half uh 14 I should say of those points were were with the Rangers, but he got to a 40 point marker in the 22 23 season with the Rangers and that was 18 goals um and 22 assists. So I think this is a good move for Seattle. 6’1, 215. Um, you know, I I just think that uh untapped potential uh really. And I don’t think you go wrong with getting this deal done, not having to go through arbitration. So, you know, we’ll we’ll see. We still have uh to figure out what we’re going to do with with Riker Evans. Um that’s the other piece here uh that we’re waiting on. But the the Seattle Kraken are getting things moving. And so I know someone in the comments said, “Yeah, we’re probably done with regard to offseason moves other than shoring up what we have.” Speaking of um a little bit looking to the Firebirds, but if you are an everyday or an oger, you know that I have been super thrilled that Jack Leaf Fontaine has been in the Seattle Kraken pipeline. And it was announced today that he signed to a one-year deal with our very own uh Coachella Valley Firebirds. And uh Jack Leaf Fontaine um just someone I’ve been lucky enough to speak to. I spoke to him at training camp. I spoke to Tad O’Had because he has spent time in the ECHL. Um so I spoke to Tad. Uh, I mean, I I just think Jack uh is is a solid get here and um you know, I’m I’m looking forward to seeing uh what will happen here. 27. Um only played two games for the Firebirds last season. The season before last, you know, he came up in some of the other things happening in the organization. Um so, uh you know, I I I just think he he’s humble. Um went to Michigan before transferring to Minnesota. Um, and I I I think that I’m hopeful that with Jack Leaf Fontaine, you know, he’ll get some more development, get some more repetitions, uh, when it comes to this one-year contract. Um, and and it’s an AHL contract, so we’ll see what that looks like. But, um, you know, wishing the best for Jack. Happy for Capo Kako. uh the rest of today’s episode. Um and I just realized I didn’t change the header. So, um you might be seeing a little tease here of the conversation I’m going to have with our our guest, but we are going to have Hillary Knight on the show and then I am also going to break down the December um the the December schedule. So again, it’s that time in the offseason when we’re going uh month by month. Something that I’ve been doing, I guess, for like two seasons now. But I want to break down what stands out to me. How many backto-backs we have because just like getting to the net, um backtobacks and how we’re able to handle backtobacks is going to be huge for this Seattle Kraken team. So I’m going to change the background. I just literally just realized right now I hadn’t changed it. So I apologize. Also to our audio listeners, apologies because there was a bit of a mixup with the Monday upload. So you you’re going to get this episode. Um you’re going to get Monday’s episode and then if you want to listen to the audio um and the complete full interview with Hillary Knight, you can also get that. Um thank you as always for making us a part of your daily destination. First listen of the day, midday listen, late night listen. Either way, we appreciate it. So, coming up next, we’ll talk a little bit about Hillary Knight, who will be, of course, with PWHL Seattle, and then we’ll wrap up today’s show talking about the December schedule that’s coming up on Locked on Kraken. Thanks as always for making Locked on Kraken a part of your daily destination. Erica Lyala here every once in a while giving you uh you know uh fashion advice. You know, a little sarong, a little uh you know a maxi dress, whatever the case is. I I’m thinking very like beachy flowy things, you know, like something that’s like, “Hey, I’m here.” And, you know, it’s cool, casual, but also very flowy. That’s the That’s the beach vibe that I go for. Anyway, on today’s episode, we are not talking exclusively about fashion. And we talked about Capo Kako avoiding arbitration, the arbitration hearing, resigning with the Seattle Kraken, and I do think that could potentially have an impact on Mattie Baneer for the better. Um, but now we’re going to switch gears here because we’ve got a new team coming to Seattle, a new pro team will share climate pledge and Kraken community Iceplex with the Seattle Kraken. And that is PWL Seattle. In true PWHL fashion, they don’t have a a team name yet or a logo, but we’ll get there. This is the 2023 IIHF female player of the year, captain of the 23 gold medal medal winning US women’s world championship team. She was an alternate captain at the 22 Winter Olympics. Represented the United States in four, count them, four Olympics, and won gold in 2018, silver in 2010, 14 and 22. I could literally go on and on and on and that would be the entire segment. But without further ado, let’s hear from the one of the members of your new women’s hockey team, Hillary Knight. know, a a pioneer on the women’s game and we’re happy to have you on the Locked on Kraken podcast. Yeah, thank you for having me. Yeah, for sure. Uh, so I was saying a little offline, I mean, I’ve been able to chat with you throughout your career. Um, but I don’t think I’ve ever asked you what I like to say is my brown sugar question, which is when did you, Hillary, definitively fall in love with hockey? Um, when I first laced up my skates. Uh, you know, I saw some of the older kids carrying all the gear and stuff into the rink and um, you know, you’re just working on your crossovers, working on learning just like how to stay upright, earning these little like buttons you have fastened your laces and you see the older kids with all this gear and I was like, I want to do that. Um, and then so that’s I just got bit by the sport and it’s it’s crazy where it’s taken me and I’m just so incredibly grateful for that. Yeah, indeed. I mean, you’ve you’ve been uh multiple places here domestically in the United States, obviously with USA hockey uh across the world. Um I mean, can you think of uh maybe a favorite moment in memory? I know there’s a lot of them, but is there like one where you’re like, “Oh, wow. Like, this is real. Like, I’m really doing the hockey.” Oh, boy. Uh gosh, you know, I think uh honestly probably when I like learned how to like intentionally lift a puck, you know, and you’re like, “Okay, like I got this hockey thing down, you know, I can I can place pucks.” But no, I think um you know, suiting up for the first time in that national team sweater, it’s just there’s no feeling like it, right? You feel a part of something bigger than yourself. You look to your left, you look to your right, you’re like, I am with legends right now. This is insane. like what am I doing here? Um I just signed up to play this sport that I fell in love with and that’s sort of the the aha moment and then once you once you’ve experienced that you’re like all right let’s do it again and let’s win you know. So uh it’s just it’s so much fun. Yeah, the winning you seem to have down. It’s been been going pretty well for you. We like we like to win, you know. It’s makes it a little bit more fun when you’re going through that grind in the summer trying to get back into shape and you’re like I’m doing this for the W. That’s it. That’s it. I love it. Well, um, you know, we talked about travel, obviously putting on the USA hockey sweater, and you did announce that this will be your last go round with USA hockey at the Olympic level, international play. I mean, you know, the question was coming, right? Everyone wants to to uh, you know, get get a sense of of what the vibes were and why uh, now seemed like the right time to make that announcement for you. Yeah, I don’t know. I just uh you know I’d been talking about it with sort of like my internal group for a few months and um I think just signing up for another quad was daunting. Um, you know, I think I’ve been so grateful to be a part of amazing teams, to be part of that Olympic experience as many times that I have been. And, um, you know, I think just putting the pressure on and saying like this one’s the last one and kind of go out with a bang. But also differentiating it, you know, international, you know, tournaments and Olympic level and also professional season. Those are all different things. And so, um, you know, I think I was just solely through the lens of the Olympic experience. And you know, I wanted this one to be the last one. And uh yeah, so I’m excited and you know, there’s a lot of a lot of things on the line now, but uh that’s what makes it great. You know, there’s a lot of pressure, which is awesome. And I’m really looking forward to suiting up with our squad again. I love that. I mean, now I I have to ask a followup here because, you know, Lee Deckline took us for a ride and I’ve teased her about that, but is this we’re done done and we’re not doing a Brett Favre where we come back a million times? You mean Lee Jordan? Yeah. Retirements. Yeah. No. Uh you never know, right? Um you know, I think just, you know, as it sits right now, uh 2026 will be my last Olympic Games and uh you never know kind of where life takes you and timing and there’s so much that goes into it. But uh as I sit right now, I’m extremely grateful for my Olympic journey so far and looking forward to to making that team for 2026. Right? We still have to go through that try out process. So, um, yeah, there’s it’s just I feel really whole and, uh, at peace with that decision as of now. I love that for you. Congratulations. Uh, you know, best of luck, as you said, um, making it officially official, we hope, at least. And, uh, you know, I I’ll be there in Italy. So, uh, you know, all right. When you see me flag you down for the interviews. Yeah. I’ll see you in the mix zone. Hopefully, right? Oh my god. Well, my first mix zone was Beijing. So, like, you know, I’m looking like this at you guys like, “Hey, come talk to me.” Like, that was wild. But, uh, yeah, I will I’m sure it’ll you’ll you’ll notice the the big crowd that’s that’s probably for you. But, um, let’s switch gears here. Like you said, there’s other things outside of the national team. And I I’ve alluded to it, but you and and kind of your crop of players for USA hockey. I mean, you come in at such a young age, you know, cut your teeth super young in the in the in the program. really establish yourself while you’re still competing in NCAA and you’ve seen you’ve seen women’s hockey do a lot. The good, the bad, the indifferent, the unspeakable, I’m sure, but but now we’re here and with the PWHL just completed season two, the league of course, but now you head into season 3 and and making waves again, HK, uh, now with PWHL Seattle. um you know, what do you see as as the goals that you still have um when it comes to your pro career the domestically and and how do you think PWHL Seattle will help you really thrive and flourish there? Yeah. Well, first of all, I think uh you know, our our general manager has done an incredible job of attracting top tier talent, right? And making sure that, you know, this inaugural season, we’ve got all the the pieces in place to to be competitive. Um so that’s really exciting. But think the elusive Walter Cup, right? Like I want one of those. And uh I want to be a part of a group that wants one of those so badly. And I can’t think of a better city to to try and go after that accomplishment and uh bring something back to, you know, a city that has tremendous success for professional, you know, women’s sports and being a part of that conversation. And so that’s the goal. But um you know I think when there’s anything new the hardest thing is to to build a culture to build a a su successful chemistry and camaraderie with one another to to go about that journey. So um that’s also a challenge in itself which I think all of us are really welcoming. Yeah for sure. I mean you mentioned culture. Obviously this is the locked on Kraken show. We know a thing or two about expansion drafts and you know trying to build up a culture here. Uh we’re going to see what season five brings for the for the guys, but you’ll be sharing facilities uh with the Seattle Kraken and have an opportunity to re-up a market that has been hungry for women’s hockey and knows what expansion is like. I mean, I think they just get to reup again with y’all. I mean, what is the excite? I know you’ve talked so much about being in Seattle, playing Seattle with USA hockey, but you know, being able to do all of that in a city that for the first time is getting women’s pro hockey. Um, I mean, what excites you about being on that journey? Honestly, the fans. Um, you know, I think we got a small taste of um, you know, that fandom when we were here just for a short amount of time. And to to be consistently here and have our programming here and uh, play in the facilities that we’re going to be playing in is just it’s going to be unreal. So, I’m I’m really looking forward to feeling that support and um you know, it it’s exciting to be um you know, in women’s sports right now, right? I think we’ve we’ve really hit this in stride and um to be in Seattle. It it feels surreal still. So, I think that’s you know, when we finally suit up and get out there, it’s it’s going to be electric. Yeah, for sure. I mean, uh, also again, you’ve been a part of so many just critical, um, just moments in women’s hockey. And one of them I actually I’ve been dying to ask you about this because I use this on social media all the time. And do you know if like if I were Yeah, I know, right? Uh, here we go. Uh, if I were to like, you know, post at you HK lol, do you know what that’s in reference to? Uh, gosh, I don’t know. Okay. So, HK, those are your initials, Hillary. But do you remember uh you know a certain we we’ve got a contract negotiation happening with uh with the WNBA, but there was maybe like a circa 2017 some conversations that were going down and maybe a response that was just lol. Yeah. Yeah. You know, the lawyers, they always say you can’t say anything, right? And I just couldn’t help myself. I thought it was fantastic. anytime I’m I’m like, “Listen, I have thoughts and I don’t want to get myself in trouble.” I literally just post HK lol. So that’s a nod to you. So if you see me around social media and I just go HK lol, it’s like, she’s got thoughts, but she’s going to try and keep it classy. I respect that. I respect that. Yeah. Yeah. Subtle foreshadowing, right? So Hillary, well enjoy the game. Thank you so much for your time and uh we look forward to having you on again on the Locked on Kraken podcast. Yeah. Thank you so much. So, that was awesome to have Hillary Knight on the show. Thank you so much to PWHL Seattle for setting up that interview. We also got to speak to Cayla Barnes. We are going to speak to head coach OORR. And there is an event for season ticket holders for PWHL Seattle tomorrow, Wednesday, at Rough and Tumble from 4 to 6. I will be there. So, if you will also be there, please come say hi. But if you’re not yet a season ticket holder, first of all, like handle that. But you can also come to Rough and Tumble um anytime after 6:00, but at 7:00 Pacific time, myself and Roberta or Hoveta Rodriguez, we are your hosts of Tempestagi Talk, which is the Portuguese word for storm. So, we uh have a Seattle Storm podcast. Uh at the time that I’m recording, they’re not looking so great against Dallas. Um Hillary Knight was at that game. I have not yet confirmed if she and PWHL Seattle were courtside, but uh I’ll try to get that intel for you. But please do stop by Rough and Tumble, an amazing community space, actually off uh line with Kayla and Hillary. Got to talk to them about Rough and Tumble. So, they’re going to get that full experience tomorrow, Wednesday, July 23rd. It’s going to be a good time. I hope you come through. Uh, we’ll close out today’s episode of Locked on Kraken though, talking about the Seattle Kraken schedule in December. And yes, there are some backtobacks. I will give you my personal pick for games to circle games that I will be watching and why. We’re going to re-up this series once we, you know, have a little bit more intel about this team. We’ll do it a little closer to the season. But uh just on vibes alone, I’m going to give you the games that I have circled. We’ll get into that coming up on today’s episode of Locked on Kraken. Thanks as always for making us a part of your daily destination. Erica L. Ayala here, your host of Locked on Kraken for our everydayers, our ogers. We appreciate you so much. It’s been a great show. talked about Capo Kako resigning. I also got to talk a little bit about goalending Allah Jack Leaf Fontaine who signed a one-year deal with the Coachella Valley Firebirds. You know, um it’s not a long-term deal, so I’m very curious what that’s going to look like. But as I said, really think that there’s some potential there, or at least I like how he plays. NHL, I don’t know. Um might be a little tough, but I I like having him in the pipeline. Okay, we are going to get into the schedule. I’ve been going um season by season. Well, season by season, yes, but I’ve been going month by month once again, and it is time to talk about December. And so, I’m going to make this big on the screen for you. Here we have the Seattle Kraken. Uh we’ll start December on the road taking on Edmonton. then threeame home stand from December 6th through the 10th where they take on Detroit who apparently according to fans as the best broadcast. Uh we are number two though we talked about that on yesterday’s episode. Then we have the Minnesota Wild. The LA Kings uh hit the mammoth on the road before coming back home for two games uh against the Sabres aka the Sabres and the Colorado Avalanche which uh you know as we know means there is a former head coach that we’ll run into. That’s going to be a home game. So we’ll see what the crowd is like. Four games on the road. Calgary San Jose. Then our first of two backto-backs this month is Anaheim and the LA Kings have a little bit of break before two games backto back at home to close out not just the month but the year. Philadelphia and Vancouver. So the obvious pick here of course is to look at the backtobacks. You see them right there on the screen with me. This is a team that was abysmal when it comes to backtobacks and to have backtobacks in consecutive weeks I I think is interesting. Um, however, what the upside and why these backtobacks I find particularly intriguing is because there is they’re several days off. You can see they have four full days off and the road trip only has them in LA or in California I should say. So that’s not a long trip. So in theory, these two backtobacks, the backtoback backtobacks should be something that this Kraken team can handle. Now how Lane Lambert and the rest of the staff are going to manage that? Uh we don’t know obviously, but I’m I have those circled the back end of December. How are we managing things for a Kraken franchise that has been terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible on backtobacks and doesn’t want to be terrible for the foreseeable future. That’s really for me a good test for this organization, for this new coaching staff to figure out if, when, and how they can make an impact in that area. So, they’re going to have that. As far as specific games that I have circled here, I have to go with Utah. That’s a team that, you know, not an expansion team last year, but it almost seemed like they exercised some of those demons. They shook off that dust of the desert and uh were able to really turn things around. Now, you could argue that maybe that would have happened if they stayed in Arizona either way, but um you know, they have a new logo. I do think it’s pretty fresh. I’m not going to lie. mammoth or they so they’re just one singular mammoth just like we’re one singular kraken. I know that always confuses people and usually I ignore it but I don’t know why I’m fixated with it when it comes to the mammoth. Uh either way either way uh pretty ice cold which I think is kind of the point. The color scheme definitely giving icy vibes. You know Utah, never been to Utah but you know Salt Lake City. So there you go. Um, I I think they’re going to be a good test and we’ve we’ve seen the Seattle Krakens struggle with them this past season. So, um, I I like that game. That’s probably as far as a specific game that I have circled. I I will say um with regard to the list we talked about at the Athletic uh where fans kind of talk about their favorite broadcast team, I I I kind of think I I want to tap in and hear a Detroit, as Everett would say, Detroit, not Detroit, which is how I would say it. Detroit, uh Detroit Red Wings. I might need to tap in. I’ve never listened to their broadcast, so I’m going to do that at least once this season. Will it be December? We’ll see. But uh maybe when we’re at Detroit that probably makes more sense. Um I I want to hear what what their squad sounds like. Um and I am looking forward to providing some notes. U maybe learning a few things. And uh so so so I think for me the game that I have circled is Utah. Interesting though that we play the Oilers and the Kings twice in this month or excuse me, it’s just the Kings. I don’t know why I thought we played the Oilers again. Uh so we end with Vancouver. It’s Philly Vancouver. Excuse me. So we play the Kings twice in this month. Once at home, once on the road, one of uh the road game is though part of a backto-back. not necessarily um you know something that early on that maybe will be helpful really given where either team is, but the Kings have been an organization that has represented the Pacific division in the playoffs in the last handful of years. So that’s always a good barometer just kind of overall. um you know, Anaheim, San Jose, you can’t take them for granted. And I don’t know if that’s what happened to the Seattle Kraken last season, but we’ve definitely got we we’ve gotten our our butts whooped by these teams while they were lower than us in the standings. And I just don’t want to see that anymore. There’s always some drama, it feels like, when we play Buffalo. So, I guess we’ll see how that turns out. But again, for me, it’s really the 22nd and the 23rd are away backtoback in California and SoCal. And then the 28th and the 29th, the home back to back. Plenty of rest on either side of um of those backtobacks just to give you a little bit of a glimpse. Um we do have a game on January 1st at home versus the Nashville Predators. And the reason I mention that is just because after our home stand back toback, well, it’s I should say the Philadelphia and uh Vancouver Conucks game is part of um a home stand, but they have two days off um in theory, right? Um we’ll see what the schedule looks like, but also running up on a holiday. So, um, two days between the Vancouver game, the second game, um, of the back-to-back and that game against the Nashville Predators. The Predators are always an interesting team to play, not only because usually that means I get to talk to Ann Kimmel. Um, but I think there are contemporaries and just to give you a little bit of a glimpse. As much as they’re going to get rest in December for backtobacks, we’re going to be talking about this kind of two week stretch when we talk about the January schedule because maybe it’s favorable on the December side, but is it a favorable schedule for the Seattle Kraken on the January side? We’ll talk about that coming up. But thank you so much for uh listening in. Uh if you’re listening on audio, again, apologies. scheduling issue uh totally of my making. Um so I apologize for that, but we’ll get that audio up for you. I did mention this, but for audio and for our YouTube viewers, we will have the Hillary Knight interview standalone. I did a few cosmetic cuts here and there. Um and you’re going to want to stay tuned later in the week. I will um probably tomorrow we’ll have that Kayla Barnes episode. and I asked her, “Fair or foul, the hit that Brandon Tanivv laid on Shane Wright after being traded.” So, you’re going to want to listen to that for sure. It’s oh, it was such a delight to spend some time virtually uh interviewing some PWHL Seattle players, and we will continue to do that. Now, some of you know I also host the Women’s Hockey Report. So, you will see some of these interviews probably also populate or even originally come from the Women’s Hockey Report. But anytime we talk about PWHL Seattle, we will definitely talk about it here on Locked on Kraken. And listen, I know some people in the comments are inevitably inevitably going to say, “Oh, it’s the Kraken show. Why are we talking women’s hockey?” Listen, I talk Seattle sports. I have um I don’t spend five days talking about Seattle sports, but the Seattle Kraken are part of a larger Seattle sports community. And now they are sharing that community. They’re sharing their space, Climate Fledge Arena and Kraken Community, Iceplex, with a brand new women’s hockey team. So yeah, we’re going to talk about women’s hockey. And uh you know, if that’s not your vibe, that’s cool, too. Um but that’s what we’re going to do. But if it is your vibe and you think there’s other people who would enjoy this vibe, make sure you share our podcast, like, subscribe, leave a comment, rate, and review. That helps us get um, you know, get new listeners, eyes, and ears on the show. Be kind to yourselves, be kind to one another, hold fast, stay true, and if you’re going to be at Rough and Tumble tomorrow, 7:00 live taping uh, of Tempestagi Talk, I will see you there. Please do come say hi. Until next episode. Peace out everybody.

I’m so relieved they Kappo and got a fair deal on top of it. I like playing Matty with Kappo on the same line it works great
With the Rangers as my #1 being I’m from back East. And avidly cheering on my #2 Kraken being I’ve lived out here- I’m excited to see Kaapo (great deal!) and Lindgren out here! I’m a little nervous the Ducks have improved a bit this Summer. Gonna be weird seeing Kreider & Trouba playing together in a different uni out West!
Glad this deal got done and he avoided arbitration. Kakko was the one player I really wanted us to resign this off season.
