Phoenix Suns Sign G Jared Butler 👀

Breaking news from PHNX’s own Gerald Borgay. The Phoenix Suns are offering a non-g guaranteed one-year deal to guard Jared Butler to compete for a spot on the roster in training camp. This comes after the guard in his fourth season in the NBA averaged nine points per game and three assists per game between the Sixers and the Wizards. Is this the right move for the Suns after they also claimed free agent guard Jordan Goodwin off of waiverss from the Los Angeles Lakers? And if you need to know more about Jared Butler, check out our own PHX free agency breakdown that was live on our channel earlier today.

  1. Have Butler and Goodwin compete for a spot, then move Royce/Grayson to bring on a Ben Simmons, Brogdon, or Giddey.

But I like the low risk high reward. Almost 10 ppg in limited minutes is worth a flier. Fits in with the youth movement.
