I wonder why the Caps are only ranked 9th? It seems last year would get them a higher rank. 8 comments These rankings are meaningless. Especially at this time of the year. Defense and our center depth The caps ranked 9th because they compiled the opinions of espn journalists and spat out this list. They had a good summer by not doing anything stupid like singing Cody Ceci or giving Tanner Jeannot a 5 year contract. The caps have also had a relatively quiet offseason, and the text for each team seems to be very focused on offseason moves Honestly, i would put TB and LA ahead of them. I think it’s fair to assume last year involved a bit of overperformance from a few guys given the staggering number of career best performances you obviously hope that continues and is just the new normal, but it’s tough to rely on guys to repeat that Not an unreasonable ranking. We have a few glaring holes in the lineup and limped to the finish line last season. Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
