3. It will be interesting, very interesting! 

4. The way we have blown so many games in the past few weeks is just depressing, but if anything it has exposed our inconsistent offense and shitty bullpen. At the end of the day, it’s hard to be a legit contender with this many issues.

5. I predict stuff will happen.

6. Simpson will steal bases. Thats my prediction.

7. I think the team sells. This team had tons of potential and clearly better than last years team but it’s too inconsistent overall. Can’t see this team really doing much in the playoffs. My three biggest disappointments are Shane of course, Kim has been a disaster, and the bullpen. Very unlike the rays.

8. If the Rangers buy, that would knock the Rays out of serious contention for a WC. They are 27-17 against sub 500 teams and 17-13 in the last 30. The Red Sox are the other team with a hole at 1B so with the Orioles likely sellers, O’Hearn could land at either. Ozuna is the other that can land at an AL WC contender. Pirates unloading Keller and Bendar would meet the pitching needs too.

10. We will dance until next week where hopefully we don’t do something stupid. Watching Cash pull Bradley last night simply showed Cash has had enough of his inconsistencies.The news that he needs to resurrect his splitter is a head scratcher. Why did he stop throwing it and become a 2 pitch pitcher? This had to be the FO’s idea not his.

    Bradley is too good and if he can command the splitter then he will return to a high K pitcher.

    Meanwhile I believe we will trade Morel, Cabby maybe even Misner – all depends on which team is desperate. Cabby could be a huge pickup for several team looking for classic utility guy with speed.
