Yankee Fan coming in peace-trade proposal thoughts.

Hey all-our subreddit thinks that we are overpaying in this proposal while I think it is fair and if anything we probably owe a little bit more considering how beloved Maikel Garcia is for you all.

But we desperately need a long term 3B and I figured with the Royals usually needing outfielders and need to help fill out your starting rotation next year after Ragans & Bubic that this might be of some interest to you all. Is this not enough? Genuinely curious. Any counter proposals?

  3. Baseball Trade Values technically has it as a big overpay for us. But I agree that those values are very hit or miss.

  4. Is that a hell of a haul? Sure, but Garcia is frankly just to good for us to give up. He’s likely a part of our long term plans due for an extension if what he’s done this season persists. We can’t be giving that up.

  5. Don’t know if Jazz and him in the same clubhouse is a good idea.

    But that package doesn’t really fit our needs and feels heavily weighted to NY.

  6. Honestly feels like a humongous overpay for New York for two rentals and a guy who’s only done it for a season

  7. Yankees wouldnt offer that and Royals aren’t really looking to move Maikel at all.

  8. No Royals wouldn’t do this. Lugo maybe but Garcia & Estevez I don’t see getting moved as they are considered apart of our core going forward.
