Were the Calgary Flames ROBBED of Winning the 2004 Stanley cup?? 🤔#hockey #calgaryflames #calgary

in 2004 the Calgary Flames went on a magical run to the Stanley Cup final finding themselves just one win away from glory up three games to two against the Tampa Bay Lightning with a chance to clinch the Stanley Cup on home ice in game six late in a tense tie game Flames forward Martin Gelinos redirected a puck toward the net with his skate tampa goalie Nikolai Habib Bulan would stretch out and make a huge pad save or so it seemed with the speed of the game it was nearly impossible to tell in real time just how close that puck had come to crossing the line play continued but moments later when the Flames got another look at the replay it appeared they might have been robbed the puck looked like it may have crossed the goal line and by then even if video review had been more advanced or coaches challenges existed it was too late the game had moved on instead of taking the lead and potentially the cup Calgary was headed to overtime that’s when Martin St louis struck for Tampa forcing a game seven the Lightning would go on to win that game and the cup so was it in should there have been a game seven comment down below

  1. Well…it was in…whether there was a game 7 or not is on another alternate timeline. When the infamous puck crossed the line there was still time left in regulation for the remainder of the game to be decided….🥅🏒🚨

  2. I'm an Oilers fan and they got robbed, his foot was way behind the line and we can see the puck in the crease of the taper at the bottom of the pad before he pushed his leg out.
