[Music] 953 954 we’ve got Chase Burns in the Reds – 138 Brad Lord in the Nats plus 125 total at 9 with some juice to the under at minus 125. Corby let’s start with you. We haven’t heard you in a while here. I took Chase Burns 7ks plus 106 was actually plus 130 last night. So, this thing’s moving uh in that in the direction of him getting to this number. Look, outside the one terrible start against the Red Sox. Seven’s a number this guy has been getting to relatively easily. You’re getting a little bit of a buyback here, the plus money because the Nats don’t strike out as much and they’ve got some bats from the lefth hand side. I still like it. I still like it. I’m going to take Burn 7K’s plus 106. What do you think of this one, Corby? Yeah, it’s interesting. I I had talked about on the show um opening the opening game for Chase Burns. I I thought that he has good stuff, but he he kind of has to try too hard to throw the baseball um and it was going to open him up to being like a middling reliever, a really good middling reliever. He has amazing stuff and though he’s kind of like well exceeded my expectations. I think it was the point was proven in the second game versus Boston. Like the reason he blew up very obviously he was tipping pitches uh as obvious as it could become. Um he’s fixed that. So, shout out to him for being able to make a single game adjustment and he looks good like facing a Philly’s team who doesn’t strike out a ton. Seven strikeouts. Colorado is is Colorado. So, uh take take the 10 strikeouts there with a grain of salt. But, I do agree like his stuff has looked way better than I thought it would. I thought he just kind of had to force too much and it would cause walks, which I still wouldn’t say I was wrong. Like three walks in his last game, four walks in this game prior. That’s the worry. Is Chase Burns going to have command have feel? He he has to put his 100% effort into throwing the baseball. And if it’s working, awesome. Um I I think this is one of those guys where like you could very easily live bet his stuff. If his stuff is working, like I mean he has upside of 10 strikeouts pretty easy. And if it’s not, like you’re going to see the command go uh pretty quick. So I I don’t mind the high variance play by you, Kyle, here. Um it’s still a guy that I’m just kind of like I would call a Debbie Downer on, but I understand people’s sentiment as to why they like him. Yeah. And uh BDub, I got this guys the first leg of our I’m going to call this the young gun strikeout parlay when we get to the Q&A. It’s at nine to one. I’ve seen it all the way up to 12 to1. But what do you think about Chase Burns? Filthy slider. Uh a lot like Mizerowski in that way. Hard fast ball, filthy slider. Of course, he’s not he’s a little bit less dominant, I would say, than than Mizowski right now. But uh are we getting a short price too on the Reds here? A big pitching advantage for the Reds. I think we’re getting a short price possibly on Cincinnati. What do you think on this one, Kyle? Good lord. I don’t know how to handicap this game. You know what? You made two pretty good points there. Uh, regarding uh Burns really good stuff, but maybe not quite as good as Nobody Beats the Miz. And, uh, he’s got a 93. So, Burns does 93 percentile stuff plus compared to Mizarowski at 100 percentile. I think that’s the be it is. It’s the best stuff in baseball. Sometimes you get 102%. No, but you can get a tie at 100%. So like because because of the way, you know, if you round up 99.5. So So that was a nice smartass comment for me, but I I handled it right. So usually Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Usually you’re right. Uh but but for this game, you know, I’m gonna I’m not going to make a play on it. I think I think that, you know, Corby mentioned the location issues and and and it’s decent for Burns, but he still has a 31 BBK. I I I kind of want to stay away from that. The one thing that I thought about when I saw this game and I saw Brad Lord, I was like, man, I hope he hope he lines up to to play Lousardo because then we would have Lord versus Jesus. And I I don’t I mean, that would be the the game of all time, Kyle. Isn’t that the Aren’t they the same, too? If I to understand how the whole thing works, like the Lord and Jesus are the same. So, they’d be he’d be like an all-time quarterback, which you know, that’s what I used to be back in the day. Alltime quarterback. He is. He could do pretty much anything, right? Cuz he is the Lord and he is Jesus. So, you know, agreed. I mean, that that’s what would make it such a great game to handicap, right? I mean, yeah, I’m going to definitely be taking strikeout props uh that day. Uh but for purposes of the show, I’m locking in Chase Burns seven plus KS at plus 106 and it is the first leg of the Young Guns parlay.
